Hello and welcome to today’s quick IQ episode where we talk about insights and questions. And today I want to share with you just a few key insights that you can really start thinking about the mind in a different way to connect with your own intuition Now, first and foremost, let’s take a quick moment to talk about the topic of intuition, because if you’re somebody who has been on the spiritual or self-awareness or self-healing journey for a long period of time, then likely you’ve heard a lot about intuition and channeling information and all of those things.
However, if you are somebody who is new to intuition or even skeptical of the idea of intuition or abilities with the mind, then I’d strongly recommend checking out a link. I had my team put a link in the show notes where you can actually see research that Stanford did with the CIA even back in the 1970s that proved things like remote viewing and abilities with the mind and intuition and all of these things. Because our minds truly are capable, and what we are capable of is absolutely incredible. And so just food for thought if you’d like to check out that research. But also just a simple way that you can think about intuition or abilities with the mind is even thinking about nature and the awareness of birds. birds flying south for the winter, or maybe you’ve heard before that there are cases where there’s a some type of natural disaster and animals tune into the disaster and they can leave and migrate from the area prior to the disaster because they have that intuition, if you will, that universal divine connection, if you will, to life force energy.
So we could call it that. I like to call it universal wifi. And so thinking about it as like internet, if you will, like wifi on your computer or your cell phone where we’re all tapped into the internet, but in this case, we are tapped into the universe and so whatever you want to call it, what is amazing is time and time again I have seen people that as they really start to work with their minds in a different way, start gaining deeper and deeper insights and deeper and deeper connection with their own intuition. And that is something that happened with me after I healed myself, is my intuition blew wide open, so much so if you’ve seen me work with people before, I can feel what other people are feeling, which is absolutely incredible and is something that I was not previously able to do.
And so I want to just unpack a few insights that can help you to develop your own intuition and just a different way to think about it. Because so often I’ll see people who are doing all of these exercises to try to strengthen their intuition, but part of the thing that we can also do is really shut down old programming in the mind that can actually create a lot of clarity with intuition.
Now, let me explain, and in fact, let me give you a simple illustration. Imagine for a moment that somebody walks into their house and there are all of these radio stations playing and some of the radio stations they like and some of them they don’t like. Now, this is the average person’s mind where they have a lot of different things going on inside of their head, and some of them are positive and some of them they don’t love.
Maybe it’s fear or worry or stress or whatnot. But then on the other side, there might be loving thoughts, kindness, sweetness, all of that. And so if you picture this for a moment where somebody’s walked into this house and there’s all of these different radio stations. So often what people do is they try to quiet their mind.
So imagine somebody in that house just trying to find peace and quiet in the middle of that house. That’s what a lot of times people will do with trying to just quiet their mind. But if we think about it in a different way, where we actually start identifying the specific radio stations, if you will, and start shutting them off and you really rewire those at a deeper level.
Then what happens is you don’t have to quiet your mind so much, but instead you enjoy the mental space in your mind. And so that’s basically, essentially what I did to heal myself is I identified what was going on at the subconscious level and really shut off those quote unquote radio stations. So the positive ones were just playing and turned those ones up, by the way.
So it felt really, really good, and my body was able to heal itself. Now, what happened after that is I started getting incredible intuitive information, which may sound odd, and to be honest, at first it felt odd to me. It was foreign to me. I didn’t expect it. I wasn’t trying for it, but by working with my mind in a different way, it enabled me to hear this information and get this information now.
I want to be clear, I feel like we all have this ability, so just like the analogy of the birds flying south we are all tapped into universal wifi. But the problem is, that we can’t always hear it because there’s so much chatter in our minds, and if there’s a lot of chatter, it’s like being in a noisy restaurant. Trying to hear somebody on the other side of the restaurant, it’s impossible to hear them. But if the restaurant is empty, it’s easy to be able to hear somebody, and so it’s like shutting off that chatter. But the problem is, so often when people are trying to shut off the chatter, instead of clearing the chatter out, they’re just trying to silence the mind.
In which case you also can end up inadvertently silencing new intuition. So if you’re ignoring what’s in the mind or silencing the mind, then it makes it so you’re not necessarily hearing that intuitive piece. And so the way that I worked with my mind in a different way to then identify those specific chatter noise, if you will, the feeling of subconscious fear and survivor’s guilt, et cetera, et cetera. So just different patterns that were impacting me and really shut them off at their roots and transform them was key. And it left me in a completely different mental state that not only helped me heal myself, but also changed my entire life. So that’s the insight that I want to share with you today. And maybe something that you could do is just notice over the next week or couple days, just notice. Do you have ongoing chatter in your mind that’s busying your mind? And if so, you may want to start looking at identifying what that is and really transforming. That is key and so food for thought.
