Have you ever pondered the potential impact of subtle negative emotions in relationships on your overall well-being? Have you considered that your own actions might also be contributing to the problem?
When considering the impact of emotions on our health, we often associate it with feelings of victimization or hurt. Surprisingly, even the act of criticizing and raising our voices at each other can have profound effects on our health. This is exemplified in the story of our wonderful volunteer, Amy, who finds herself caught in a cycle with her partner where they unintentionally trigger each other's patterns. The turbulence of raised voices and intense emotions that arise in challenging relationships can have an impact on our health and also take an emotional toll on us. Amy has considered leaving many times over the years; however, she still loves her partner. She is stuck in a loop that is affecting her happiness and health.
