Welcome to Heal Yourself, Change Your Life. My name is Brandy Gillmore, and after recovering from my own life-changing injury, it's become my mission to share with others the same discoveries I made that changed my health and my entire. Our minds are truly incredible. The placebo is proof of this. Each week I will take this simple awareness to a whole new level.
I will even coach live callers to free themselves of physical pain using only their mind, and then I'll provide you with a combination of practical and spiritual insights that you can use to master your mind, your emotions, and your. To help you heal your health yourself and your life.
Let's begin.
Hello and welcome. It is so wonderful to connect with you. Welcome to this week's quick IQ episode where we talk about insights and questions. And today I wanna talk about the hidden and divine message in today. You know, if you are here, then chances are you know the importance of giving energy to the things that you want in life and fueling them.
Even knowing that all of the time, people don't necessarily do that. You know, for many people they have a harder time sharing the positive specifically. sharing things like their dreams or the things that they're wanting in life. And all of the time, I can tell you that in classes where people will feel more comfortable talking about a negative situation, something that they're working on, a trauma, a this or that, you know, whatever it is.
But for a lot of people when it comes to sharing their real dream, Or talking about it. A lot of times people feel stuck or they feel awkward or they feel like, What if it doesn't happen or, I don't wanna share. And that's what I wanna talk about today is exactly that. And technically, there are three specific points that I want to cover today.
And the first and most obvious one is the importance of having a dream and being willing to stand behind your dream. And when you do stand behind your. That you really can make a difference in your life and others' lives if you are willing to stand behind your dream, You know? And if you think about today, which here in the US is Martin Luther King Day.
You know, he had a dream and he continued to share it and fuel that dream. And it made an incredible impact for helping to create a better world and equality for all of us. And of course, it's not perfect yet, and there's still work and equality that needs to be done. So I'm not saying it's perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but.
That he did make a difference. And on that note, of course, I wanna just say happy birthday to Dr. King and honor him for what he did do. And we're gonna talk even more on that coming up. But in this first point, I just wanna remind you the importance of having a dream and fueling it. And of course, it's not like you have to have a dream as big as Martin Luther King's dream.
But I highly recommend as we are coming into the new year and everybody setting up goals and all of that, making sure that you both have a dream in your own life and that you also have a vision for the world, a bigger picture dream for how you want things to go in life, you know, even outside of your immediate life.
So I would strongly recommend having both and that having both. Can help you even personally on your own journey, because having your own dream, of course you wanna have that. Absolutely. And. When you have that vision towards life and towards what it is that you want, there's a few great things that happen from this.
You know, number one, you add your energy and your positive energy to the collective. So it's helping to create that vision in a more beautiful direction for our world. So that is great. And the other way that it can help you as well is. Let's be honest. A lot of people, they worry about what's gonna happen in the future, or they think negative thoughts about the world, or they have fear towards the world and what's going on.
And so if every day you start adding in positive thoughts about how you would like to see our world become more evolved or more positive or more spiritual, or more enlightened, or more kind, or more loving. Whatever that is for the bigger picture, for the collective of seeing everybody happy and healthy and more spiritual and equality and treating each other with respect and love and kindness, and everybody being more positive and empowered.
And what would that look like for our. You know, that would just be so beautiful. That is also so good for your energy, for helping you dissolve negative thinking and bring in even more positivity in the energy around you. So I strongly recommend doing exactly that in your life. You know, having both a vision for your life and also a bigger picture vision, which can be powerful for the collective and of.
For you in your energy. So that can just be a positive energy boost for you as well in your life. And so when I look at the energy regarding Martin Luther King's birthday, I would say it is divine timing where it is here in January. And a perfect reminder for all of us to have a vision for our own lives and also, For the collective.
And so make sure that you've added in that vision each day for the collective, because again, that can be helpful for the collective and for the energy in your life. All right, so that's number one. And number two is that you will want to make sure to. Fuel it to give it your energy and embody the changes along with it.
And of course, if you are somebody who is here, then likely you know that. My dream is that people really are able to see their health. In a different way and to ultimately change healthcare, change the way people see their health, uh, make people feel even more empowered. And so, you know, if you've been listening to past episodes where I work with people and coach them to use their mind to release their own pain even in minutes or make radical changes.
That's exactly the reason. You know, I want to help people to see their health in a different way that, you know, it's not stuck or they're not doomed forever, which is what I had of course, experienced on my journey where I quote unquote, wasn't supposed to get better. Or where people think, Oh, it's gonna take the years on this healing journey.
It doesn't have to. And so the more that everybody can see that we're all amazing and we can get incredible results and it doesn't have to take forever, and the the mind really does impact the physical body. That's my goal. That's my dream, is just to bring in that awareness and really create that change.
So I'm constantly giving fuel to that. And of course, that's what you'll wanna do in your life is make sure to fuel your dreams and your visions, whatever those. For you. And that's the point here is to make sure that you are fueling the dream. Don't be afraid to talk about it and embody that change. And speaking of fueling your dream, you know, if you look at Dr.
King, there is definitely a huge impact that he and his dream and his vision and sharing it and all of that was able to make in our lives and it's beautiful. Let's be honest. It still needs more fueling his dream, still needs more energy given to it. There needs to be more equality. And so on that note, I wanna invite you, if you have time today, or maybe sometime this week, I wanna invite you to just take a moment and even watch a recording of Dr.
King's speech. I have to tell. Every single time I've watched it, and I can't even tell you how many times I've seen it, every single time, it brings tears to my eyes, it gives me chills. It is just such a powerful dream and. We need to make sure that we are continuing to really put fuel towards his vision and his dream and make it all of our dreams, of course, as it is for so many of us, but that we're making sure to fuel it, to add our energy.
And so on that note, I would love to invite you or even request. Of you and your energy, if you could give that some of your energy on this beautiful day. So, you know, fueling that. So that is point number two, is just making sure to fuel your energy towards your dreams. You know, making sure to speak to them, to embody them, to put energy towards them, to believe in them and.
Not be afraid of speaking about them. And I know that for some people they're going, who's afraid to speak to their dreams. But I know for a lot of people you might be hearing this right now and you're thinking, Oh God, like do I really have to mention what my dreams are to people? Do I really have to mention what it is that I want?
And of course you don't have to, I mean you don't have to do anything. But it would be great to make sure to add that positive. Towards what it is that you're wanting. So just food for thought on that. And that is number two. And number three goes along perfectly with what we've been talking about in the past episodes, and it's that you will wanna remember that how you treat people.
It can affect your health and your life and what you're manifesting and your success. And so this one's also directed towards Martin Luther King Day and also in general, as we've been talking about, that how you treat people can affect your health and your life. And we'd even been talking about Steve Jobs and how it impact.
His health. But if we build on that for a moment, I can tell you that I've worked with people before who were going after their dreams of success to the next level of this or that, and they weren't treating people nice either. They were. Treating people as less than in inferior or condescending or whatever it was, and it impacted their ability to actually manifest their dreams.
Now, of course, it doesn't happen with everybody. There are different things that come up, or what I've seen happen all the time is that somebody is able to step into success and then as they step into success, they start treating people poorly. And from that place, they end up having a lot of hardship or sabotaging their success or having other problems or manifestations or, you know, issues come in that they're not wanting.
And so point being both for MLK day and for also just life in general, is that treating everybody equal, treating everybody with respect, with kindness is so key. And I have to say that some people would say, Well, wait a second. , does it really impact your success? Because in the past, people were able to have slaves and treat them poorly, and it didn't seem to affect their success and.
I wanna make sure to bring about the awareness that we have been also talking about the evolution of consciousness, where there was a time when people didn't necessarily realize that they were doing the wrong thing. They thought that that was the right thing, and obviously clearly we can see. That it's all wrong, and there's been an evolution of consciousness and now that everybody knows that it's wrong to judge people or treat people poorly based on the color of their skin, it becomes something that can definitely negatively impact you.
And kind of to break this down and simplify it even more, it's like this is. If you think about a two year old, if a two year old takes your car keys, that doesn't mean they're a bad person and they need to attract punishing energy and all of that. It simply means that they've taken your keys and they're probably chewing on them in their mouth, you know?
And so that's one thing. But if a 30 year old takes your keys, that's called stealing, and that's a problem, and that will bring. Punishing type of energy that will keep them in a place of poverty or lack or health problems or whatever it is that it ultimately ends up manifesting in their lives. And so point being, you can see that between a two year old and a 30 year old, there is a different.
Consciousness. You know, the two year old is not aware that it's a bad thing to take somebody's keys, but the 30 year old knows better. And so at this point of consciousness where we've had conscious evolution and we know that it's wrong to treat people poorly, that can and does impact people's health and what they're manifesting in success all of the time.
And you know, again, we had talked about this on a past episode where, you know, even in the Bible it was written. Several thousand years ago that if your child didn't behave, then take them to the center of the city and have everybody stone them. And so there was that, or we talked about how men could challenge each other to a dual where they would, you know, go to the center of the city and shoot each other and last man standing one.
And so again, consciousness has changed and. Here we are today with the evolution of awareness of consciousness, that how we treat people can affect us on so many different levels, and so it's just divine timing that I didn't plan this ahead of time, but. We've been leading up to this point of how we treat people is so important and, you know, talking about Steve Jobs and his health and all of that, and so beautiful timing.
And the takeaways from today's episode are exactly that, is making sure that you are treating people of all color, of all race, of all belief systems with absolute respect and kindness that is so important and that can impact your. Your life, your ability to manifest your dreams to the next level. So that is a key takeaway.
And also making sure that you have your vision, your dream, and you are fueling it, Not just having that dream or vision and writing it on a piece of paper as a New Year's resolution and then shoving it in a drawer, but that you are fueling it and embodying it and speaking about it. So that's another one.
And of course, again, having that. For the collective, that bigger picture. Not only is it good for everybody and the vision, and the energy for the collective, but it can also be good for you in many ways. By getting that into your energy, your subconscious mind, creating that feeling of safety and connection with others, and love with others, that can set forth even more positivity in your life.
In the life of others around you. And so on that note, speaking of others around you, please do make a point to hit the share button on this episode. Share it with somebody you love, somebody you care about, or somebody you don't even know. You know, the more empowered and happy and healthy and loving. That every single person of every color, of every ethnicity, of every race, of every belief system, the more empowered that every person is, and happy, and healthy, and loving and equal, and everything that everybody is, the better.
The world will be for all of us. And so on that note, please do make a point to share it. And of course, as a reminder, if you wanna give a bit of energy towards Martin Luther King's speech, watch it. Get it in your mind, get it in your energy. Give some fuel towards that today. That would be awesome. And on that note of awesome, by the way, the next episode that we have coming up where we dive back in with our volunteer, Mary, is awesome and just taking everything to the next level.
So I look forward to connecting with you there, and until then, I wish you ans wonderful, incredible rest of your day.
