Hello, and welcome to this week's quick IQ episode, where we talk about insights and questions. And today I want to share with you five key factors to hidden subconscious fear that I see impacting people all of the time. And, you know, when you go through life and you have fear, And you bury it, or hide it, or it's affecting you outwardly.
It really distracts from the ability to enjoy life. To enjoy love, and connection, and happiness, and laughter. All of the good things in life. Because fear can take that from you. And so, for that reason, I want to take a moment to really address this topic, just because I know personally, in my own life, fear was part of my whole injury.
And the funny thing is, is that I never would have called it fear. When I was first injured, I wouldn't have said I was in fear. I didn't even relate to that because I suppressed it so much, you know. At the time that I was injured, the subconscious mind wasn't something that was in my awareness, you know.
This was like back in 2003, so actually 20 years ago, and I didn't realize how much the subconscious mind could impact What I was feeling and experiencing and even my consciousness or how I saw the world, any of that, I had no idea. And so, you know, if something fearful came up, I always thought, well, that's just ridiculous.
And I would negate the feeling and suppress it and just keep going. And I just had no idea that it was really going on inside my subconscious mind just because it was so headstrong and determined and continuing through life and keeping myself busy with all of these other things. But I didn't realize it was an issue, of course, until my injury when everything stopped and all I had left to do was really look at the fear and look at what was going on in my subconscious mind and start really changing that.
And I know all too often I've seen people who are there where they're in fear and they don't know how to get out of it. They feel like there's nothing they can do and that is something that I have seen all of the time as well. And I have to tell you. When you really take fear in your life and you genuinely address it, it's life changing, you know?
It just helps you to enjoy and experience and feel incredible. And I can't tell you how many people I have worked with. who were buried in fear and anxiety attacks and feeling like they had an elephant sitting on their chest because they were so heavy or a golf ball stuck in their throat, you know, just that heavy feeling, you know, and you know, not everybody feels fear like that.
It just really depends on where you are. But for that reason, I wanted to talk about the key factors that are actually linked to fear because it's a lot different. Then most people realize and so that said let's go ahead and dive in starting from the top at number five We'll count our way backwards.
And so number five is the most obvious and it is Putting negative information in your mind over and over again Meaning that your thoughts help create our lives. And so if we put in negative Fearful information over and over and over again. For example, if we watch something on the news over and over and over and over again, what happens?
We cultivate fear. We're putting negative things in our mind over and over and over again. And so that's what starts to fill our minds. And so that is number one and probably again the most obvious, but it's something that people do all the time. It's like, you know, you can't put a bunch of Trash in your closet over and over and over again and then open the door to your closet and be surprised that there's not Amazing clothes there and there's a bunch of trash in there.
You know what you put in there is there in your closet and also in your subconscious closet, you know, in your mind. And so that is number five is looking at, okay, well, what are you really putting in your mind? And if you're experiencing a lot of fear, then you want to start to shift what it is that you're putting in your mind and be real with what's real.
You know, if you notice that you're putting a lot of negative information in your mind, Then you want to look at that and really change it because all the time I've seen people who are doing exactly that, who are inundating themselves with information and negative information over and over and over and then they're surprised that they're feeling negative or fearful.
So that is number five. And by the way, I do want to note, I'm not saying put your head in the sand and avoid everything that's going on either. You know, paying attention to our world and what's happening is great, but. You also want to make sure that you're putting in the positive on purpose and not inundating yourself with negative things.
So again, that is number five. Now, number four is one that I see all of the time and it's this, is I'll see somebody who has a subconscious pattern of wanting sympathy or feeling sympathy for self. Now, the problem with that is what happens is if somebody wants sympathy, then there's a subconscious part of them that will continue to want negative things to happen.
Obviously not consciously. Consciously a person will want great things to happen and have their life be better and amazing and you know, all these things they want consciously, but on an emotional and subconscious level. If a person has a pattern of wanting sympathy, then, at a deeper level, they have feelings of love or connection or a feeling of need of wanting sympathy, which, again, means that something negative must happen.
And it's like if part of the brain wants something bad to happen, and then the other part of the brain has fear going, Oh my God, something bad is going to happen. And that creates that feeling of fear subconsciously, and I see that one all of the time, and what happens is no matter what people do, they feel locked into fear, and then also something negative manifests, and then they feel sympathy, and then they feel locked into fear, and it's just this horrible cycle of fear, and problems, and stress, you know, and so making sure to break free of that programming is important.
is key, if you have it, so you can really enjoy life. So, that one is number four. Now, number three has to do with feelings of punishment, or self punishment, or guilt. And, it's along the lines of the last one with sympathy, but this one is different, in that, there can be a feeling of deserving. something bad to happen.
So if somebody is walking around and they have shame or feelings of guilt, or even if they're doing something out of integrity, what happens is at a subconscious level, it creates a feeling. That says I deserve punishment and then the brain starts picturing all of this punishment like oh this bad thing could happen or this bad thing could happen or this bad thing could happen and that of course creates fear because the other part of the brain says I don't want these bad things to happen and so that feeling of fear goes into the nervous system and of course if that's in your nervous system if you have that programming You'll want to make sure to shift it.
So that's number three. Now, number two is also very counterintuitive, and it's this. It's that all of the time people will have a feeling of pride in hardship. And just like the last two that we've mentioned, where they're counterintuitive, the same is true with this one as well. Is that a person will have this feeling of pride and having the worst thing happen.
And what happens is that That means that part of their brain wants something really bad to happen and of course the other part of their brain does not want that to happen. So that creates that feeling of fear and I see that all of the time. Now, before we go on to number one, I want to take a moment and point something out.
You know, if you've heard me work with volunteers on past episodes where I, you know, Show somebody how to release their own pain in minutes. You know, I'll coach them to make changes. And we've even seen on past episodes where people have released tumors and been able to heal from that. Or we've seen people with eyesight come back, or numb parts of the body, or pain.
You know, all kinds of things. And my point is this. If you think about the things that we've talked about so far, you know, it's a completely different way of working with the mind and understanding with the mind than anything out there. And. And that's the reason that I've been able to get these results and coach people how to use their own mind to get incredible results is because the way that I look at the mind is completely different.
And the reason I want to point this out is because all of the time people will see me coaching somebody to release their pain in minutes and they go, Oh my God, this is so easy. And yes, it's easy in a way. And, it's also complex in a way, and so I always want to be honest with that and make sure that you see that, that it really does take understanding the mind in a completely different way to be able to get results.
Because the mind is logical, that's the reason that I've been able to get these results in my own health and helping other people to get results as well. is because of looking at the mind in a completely different way. And so I want to invite you to do that same thing. You know, that's what made the difference in my life, in my work.
That is what is so different about what I do and what I discovered with the mind is just, again, really looking at the mind in a different way. That is key. And when you do it from a different place, Everything feels easier and it is possible to get out of pain and out of anxiety and reprogram the mind and really feel good.
So I just want to emphasize that because All too often, people think they're stuck with emotions or negativity and it's hopeless and they can't get out of these negative emotions, but you can, but you've got to do it in a different way. And so just really emphasizing that and moving on to number one, which has to do with action and basically very simply put, you know, as you align with what it is that you're wanting and you align your mind, you want to make sure to follow through to take action.
You know, and a simple example is if somebody's driving towards a cliff, they're going to feel fearful. But if they turn the steering wheel of the car away from the cliff, they're of course going to feel better. And they're going to be able to get rid of that fear. And so sometimes the very thing that's happening is that somebody's not taking action in their life and following through with making those changes.
And that, And so each of these factors can be a key part of genuinely shifting fear in your life. And let's be honest, when we look around in life, we can see that a lot of people have heavy emotions, have a lot of stress or negativity or fear or anxiety. And what I want to really reinforce from this episode is that we are in charge, we are in control of our emotions.
And the more we empower ourselves to understand We realize we're not stuck with emotions. We're not victim to them that we really can change them and feel fantastic. And I see it all of the time. And of course it does require doing things differently than the norm, but it's possible and it's real. And I see people doing it all of the time.
Of course, it does take real programming. You have to rewire your brain at a subconscious level. But when you do, it's liberating. It is incredible. And of course, you've got to really understand why your brain is doing what it's doing so you can rewire it. So that said, that was my hope from today's episode is really diving in and shedding light on that so we can see it.
