Welcome to Heal Yourself, Change Your Life. My name is Brandy Gillmore, and after recovering from my own life changing injury, it's become my mission to share with others the same discoveries I made. that changed my health and my entire life. Let's begin.

Hello and welcome to this week's quick IQ episode where we talk about insights and questions. And today we have a really great question from a listener about getting information and understanding your body. And so that's where we're going. And her question was actually sent in through Facebook. And so here we go.

She says, Dear Brandy, I wonder if there is a way to understand. the message that my body is giving me. When I'm ill or in pain, I have no clue why. Why is it not natural for me or us in parentheses to know this? What's the point in getting ill when we can't understand our body's language? All right. So those are today's questions that we're going to be answering.

And so let's start with with the basics to kind of unpack this. You know, one thing she asked is, you know, why do we not just innately have this skill? And I hear this question all of the time. And when you stop and think about it for a moment, we don't really innately have many skills at all. I mean, if you've ever seen a baby try to eat, there is bibs required.

I mean, food can get in the hair everywhere. So when you stop and think about it, every skill that we have as human beings. We've learned, you know, we've learned how to speak or to read or write or to eat or to walk even, you know, when you stop and think about it, we didn't know how to do that when we arrived.

And so all of the time people say, well, shouldn't we just innately have this ability? And when you stop and look at it and think about the abilities and what we come in with, you look at it and you say, well, logically, No, it's something that we need to develop inside ourselves. So that's number one, is not being frustrated or thinking, okay, well, we should innately have it, but understanding it is something that we need to learn how to understand for most people.

Now, of course, there are always challenges. People who may, you know, have a natural tendency for it, just like somebody might have a natural pull towards, you know, being able to play the piano or singing at a young age and having some natural talent that they come in with. But for most of us, it's something that we need to develop and also learn how to check in.

in with and understand. So it's, you know, it's something that we need to understand just like everything else in life, how the world works, how to eat, how to tie our shoes. I mean, it's a process of learning. Now, part of the problem is also that a lot of people, when they do want to develop this intuition, they're going about it the wrong way.

You know, for example, they're working on quieting their mind. But if you think about it, If you're trying to get information from inside, but you're quieting your mind, it's the exact opposite. So if you're trying to listen for specific music, but you shut off the speakers, well, that doesn't help because now you've.

shut off the speakers, you know, and so that doesn't help, you know, or people do meditations where they're just outside of themselves the whole time, you know, fifth dimension or here or there, you know, picturing themselves elsewhere or just blissing out or trying to reach states of euphoria and all that stuff can be fun and playful with your mind if done in the right way.

But, to really understand what your body is saying, you've got to be tuned in. So it's not about checking out or quieting your mind. Instead, it's about really embodying self. It's about increasing the level of consciousness in self. So you're feeling your body, you're present with your body. The other thing is, is that a huge part of me being able to develop my gift wasn't about quieting my mind.

In general, so to speak, instead, it was about understanding what was going on in my mind and shutting that off, meaning this. And you may have heard me use this analogy before, but the easiest way to picture it is to imagine if you walk into your house and there are a bunch of speakers. All around, there's a bunch of different radio stations playing.

Some of them you like, and some of them you don't like. Now, a lot of people are trying to just ignore all the chatter from their mind, which would be like trying to walk into this house and just ignore all of the chaos from all of the different radio stations. However, instead, if you specifically identify the negative ones, the ones that you don't like, and shut off those radio stations and then purposely take the ones that you do like and create new radio stations or new neural pathways that you do like, it makes it easy to be happy.

Then you feel like fun. You feel alive. You feel really good and energized. So, this is kind of an illustration of that. Now, if we also add the awareness of intuition on top of it, what happens is this. Is that a lot of people They do have a bunch of negative programming in their subconscious mind and so there's a part of them that just wants to escape this negative programming and the negative thoughts.

So they're working either consciously or subconsciously on really avoiding their subconscious mind. But again, that's like avoiding where your intuition is also coming from. So you shut down both simultaneously. And because I don't have that, I'm not trying to suppress or shut down a bunch of negativity.

Then I'm easily able to listen to and hear information. And so that's ultimately what you want to be able to do. And kind of one way to illustrate this is if you think about birds flying South for the winter, you know, they all get that information. to fly south. So I like to call it universal Wi Fi, like universal internet, you know, we're all tapped into this Wi Fi.

So we all have this connection. So we all have the ability of intuition inside us. So it's really about learning how to understand what your body is saying and to connect with your body and also to clear your mindset. To be able to hear clearly, and you know, another way to think about it, you know, is if you imagine being in a restaurant and you're trying to talk to somebody who's on the other side of a loud restaurant.

It's impossible to hear them. But if you clear the chatter and you really empty it out, then it's very easy to communicate with them because it's clear, you can hear easily. Now, again, when it comes to quieting the mind, a lot of people using that same analogy want to just take the restaurant noise and turn everything down.

Which means you won't be able to hear that other voice, that other voice of intuition. And I say voice of intuition, but intuition comes in a variety of different ways, from images, to feelings, to auditory, you know. It's just, it's a variety of different ways that our intuition, our guidance, communicates with us.

And so what I would say is this is, you know, number one, make sure not to be impatient with yourself or demand or expect this from yourself, but instead to clear the old stuff from your mind. You know, the reality of it is, is that I didn't plan this gift. I never knew this level of intuition and awareness or any of that even existed.

But what I did is, Is, I wanted to heal, and so I purposely started clearing things out of my subconscious mind. And of course, My process for clearing information out of the subconscious mind is that it really has to be cleared from the subconscious mind. So, if you ask anybody who's taken any of my programs, we go deep.

Like, it is really about clearing old patterns and really reprogramming the mind and looking at counterintuitive information and transforming it. So, real change is key. And you don't really see that illustrated on the podcast, volunteers, because You know, they're all one session and we're looking at, okay, what is the most immediate thing that you want to address to create that change?

But, of course, To be able to develop intuition at a deeper level like this, it really does require going all of the way and transforming it. So that's the number one thing that I'd recommend doing is exactly that is taking old negative or fearful or chaotic patterns that you're wanting to avoid and genuinely get rid of them.

So you don't find your mind wanting to escape or bury stuff, but instead get Just feeling that transparency and embodiment of self. And so that is number one. Now, number two has to do with the topic of staying in integrity. You know, just making sure that you're in integrity, feeling like a good person, is so important.

And that doesn't just mean integrity by the law, that means universal integrity, which is also treating people with kindness. And not treating people poorly. You know, all the time people say, well, I'm a great person. I'm in good integrity. And they feel like they're in good integrity with the universe, but then maybe they're being passive aggressive.

Towards their partner, or jabbing, or manipulative towards this person, or that person, or wanting to get revenge, or back at so and so. And they have those feelings on the inside. So, I would say number two is exactly that. Is making sure that you stay in integrity with universal law. You know, not hurting others, not taking something of others, et cetera, that sort of thing.

So that is number two. And then the third thing you'll really want to know, which is kind of hard to explain, but I'm going to try my best to do that. And it's this, it's that if you're checking into your intuition and you're trying to check into your body or some type of pattern or something like that, that you have a lot of emotion on.

Then, you'll want to calm the emotion on it first, to get even more clarity, because if not, not only is it loud inside, so to keep you from hearing clearly, as we've talked about, using the analogy of the restaurant, so when we have a triggered pattern, it creates more noise in the restaurant, if you will, so to speak, so it makes it harder for you to be able to hear your intuition, so that's part of the issue.

Now, the other part of the issue is that Triggers, or negative programming, can give you false information in place of your intuition. So it can become a little tricky, meaning this, meaning that, you know, if I use the example of the woman who unfortunately has an abusive father, and she leaves him and finds the abusive father.

Boyfriend, boss, spouse, etc, etc. So that pattern continues. Now, let's say there's a lineup of a hundred men. Ninety nine of them are really great men, and one of them is the wrong guy. And of course, if her pattern's active and she hasn't cleared that pattern, then who's she going to pick? The wrong guy, right?

That's the one that she's going to feel pulled towards. And so point being is it'll see people all of the time who are trying to develop their intuition and because they haven't cleared patterns, these patterns are giving them feedback that is inaccurate. And so what happens is they'll learn to distrust their intuition.

So maybe somebody says, Oh, well, intuitively, I know this is the right guy or the right relationship. And then And then it turns up wrong. And then what happens is they'll say to themselves, Wow, my intuition was off. But it wasn't the intuition that is off. It is the pattern that was speaking. And that's the information that they read.

So again, I know this sounds a bit complex, but in short, what I would say is that ultimately what you want to do is clear negative programming out of your mind at a deeper level. in your mind. And that is key, and also integrity, and then also understanding that the information can be counterintuitive. So don't distrust your intuition, but make sure to clear so you're listening to the correct information.

Now, I have to say, I know that this is a really great answer because it answers the questions that she asked. And I also know simultaneously that this answer Won't get you all the way there though it can help but just so you know if you haven't been to my website I have some incredible video courses that can help you to do these exact things, you know The one on healing takes you to the depths of reprogramming your mind at its core and clearing negative programming and of course, that's how I developed my gift when I wasn't even trying was because I really cleared old patterns to heal myself and it changed my life.

And that's exactly what it does is it helps you to start working with your energy and understanding and getting information and yes and no and answers from your body and helps you to start understanding the counterintuitive parts of it.

And of course, that is done on video because there's interactive exercises. You're going to have to see the instruction with them, but those are there.
