Hello, and welcome to this week's quick IQ episode, where we talk about insights and questions. And today I want to share with you a question that I get a lot. all of the time. And it has to do with identifying emotions and patterns and understanding them at a deeper level. Because let's be honest, there are some complexities that can make it challenging.
And so one of the insights that I want to bring up is first and foremost, is that a lot of times these patterns can be really hard to identify. And part of the reason for that is because we can have a pattern that is exactly opposite of the problem. Meaning this, you know, on past episodes, you've seen where people can have patterns that breed more of the same, where there's, you know, possibly a pattern of feeling criticized or a pattern of feeling unloved or rejection or hurt or abandonment.
And just. There's so many different patterns of, you know, even self criticism or self punishment. And so what can happen is that we can have two opposing patterns. Just like maybe you've heard before that you can love somebody and at the same time be pissed off at them or resentful towards them. Or even with patterns themselves from childhood, a person could literally grow up with a really sweet, loving father.
and have an abusive mother or vice versa. Have a really sweet, wonderful mother and an abusive father. And then what can happen in their lives is they can have both those extremes. They can experience extreme love and connection and also horrible patterns of conflict and problems. simultaneously. Now, I know I'm using two very contrasting patterns, but that's my point, is that everything that comes up is part of some type of pattern of programming of some, some type of subconscious programming.
Everything is related to that in our lives. And so it makes it hard to identify because somebody might say, well, I don't have a pattern of hurt because look at how loved I am. But then they're not looking at that other side where they might have that pattern of feeling hurt or abandoned or unloved. Now, another thing that can come up, and I see this all of the time, where people will start to give attention to a specific pattern, you know, where they feel like, Oh, well, I've had this pattern of hurt or wounding.
And then what happens is instead of getting rid of it, They're fueling it. They're identifying with it. It's becoming who they are and how they are. And so it, instead of getting smaller, they're identifying with it and it becomes bigger and bigger. And so what I want to invite you to do from today's episode is actually start looking at some of your positive patterns.
and noticing them and fueling them and being happy for them. Because let's be honest, all too often people can get caught up in a tendency of wanting to identify the negative and look at themselves and say, what's wrong with me? What do I need to work on next? What is the blah, blah, blah, what is the problem?
But they're not acknowledging self. And so. That's part of the reason that I started out with looking at the distinction between having opposing patterns, because we can have beautiful patterns and also simultaneously Have some wounding going on and, you know, making sure to feed the positive patterns is so important.
And that is part of the insight from today is understanding and increasing your level of awareness with patterns. Because, you know, everything that I do and how I work has to do with having an acute awareness to emotions, to energy, to patterns. And so the more that you have that. in your own life for yourself, the better, because that's what ultimately we want.
We all want to be able to have that ability to understand what we are feeling. And that's, that's what's so important is that level of empowerment when every single person. that they can feel empowered, that every single person can identify and understand their patterns and, and transform them and reprogram their subconscious mind, because imagine for a moment what that would look like in our world if everybody, has that ability and everybody's transforming and changing and healing and growing and happy and happy and happy and happy and loving.
That's what we want. And so that's today's quick IQ episode is please fuel and take in and acknowledge your beautiful, wonderful patterns that are you and having that acute awareness and feeling that and embracing that.
