Hello, and welcome to this week's quick IQ episode where we talk about insights and questions. And today I'm going to answer some questions that I got from last week's episode. And as you'll recall, on the last episode, I worked with a beautiful volunteer, Julie, and she released her pain and shifted her pain so quickly.

that she was awestruck. She was like, what do I even say? And it was so beautiful. She did a fantastic job. And as you'll recall from that episode, in some ways, she reminded me a lot of myself. Not that I shifted my pain that quickly, but just that I was not in touch with necessarily what was happening in my subconscious mind.

And What I also love about this episode is just her shock. You can feel it. You can experience it, you know, just when she's quiet saying, wow, it's, it's You know, her pain is way down so quickly. What I love is that a lot of people mistakenly think that healing with the mind is all about belief and it's definitely, it's not.

I mean, belief in something positive, of course, can shift your emotions because then you can feel more optimistic. But a lot of times people think that healing is all about belief and yet. There's so much more to it. And so I just love how well that last episode also illustrated that very thing. Now, coming off of that episode, all of the time people will ask me, how was I able to figure this out?

And I want to share with you a few key distinctions that really helped me on my journey figure this out. And the first way to kind of do that, to give you my frame of mind, there were multiple things, but one of them is the awareness of multiple personality disorder. And you'll hear me say that all of the time, just because it really stood out in my mind.

that people could have a different illness when they were in different personalities. That, again, had nothing to do with belief. And it also really stood out that they would have the same illness or injury or pain in the same personality, but a different illness in a completely different personality and that they could even have personalities with no pain.

And to simplify this, you know, if you think about it, there's only one physical body and when they shift that much, when they have different personalities, the fact that They could have the same illness in the same personality, really did point to the same mindset. Now, another key insight for me was this, was that during my injury, there was a friend, person who was just really, really close to me and her aunt was dying of lung cancer.

And so I was asked if I wanted to go pay my respects and see her. before she passed. And, and I said, yes, you know, I wanted to go say goodbye. And so my friend drove me over to her house. And when I saw her, she had just been in this state of, you know, in and out of consciousness, you know, kind of the final days.

state. And she had been that way though for a long period of time. For quite a while she was just in and out of consciousness and I said my goodbyes, but also in my mind it hit me when I saw her is that I realized that's what I probably looked like all day because I had been spending years meditating and listening to guided meditations and binaural beats and being in theta state and delta state and just trying to stay in this deep, deep hypnosis type of state of relaxation and try to get my body to heal itself.

And that moment was really pivotal to me because it helped me see that I had to do something radically different. Like it was, it was jarring to me because I had literally been spending years trying to convince myself I was already healed and affirmations and stay in deep, deep states of theta state and delta state and hypnosis and, and guided meditations and binaural beats.

I mean, I was spending a lot of my time. in that state. So that moment was really pivotal for me, and it made me really dive in deeper and say, I really need to understand this. And that's the gift that I want to give you right now, is without having that The whole same experience that I did, the gift of having that jolting awareness where you say, I really have to understand this.

And the reason this comes up now is again, going back to last week's episode, it was just profound. Our volunteer, just again, a beautiful being, and I love how lovely and loving and how much she loved her husband. I mean, just really, really sweet. It's an incredible awareness that if you really want the results in this life, if you want to master your mind, if you really want to understand how this works, then getting in tune with the subtle awarenesses, because all the time, On these episodes, you'll hear me say, you know, there's so much more that I'm doing with the mind than people realize.

And so it looks like magic, or it just looks so easy, and they just, I sit there and talk to them and it's done. And then, because it looks easy, and simultaneously, A lot of people, they're not looking for depth. A lot of people, unfortunately, a lot of people quickly think, Oh, I know this, I know this. And what happens is so often because people's brains will tell them, Oh, I know this and I know that.

And I know all of this stuff. And then what happens is they're overlooking all of the important details. And to me, the details are everything. You know, I had been doing the meditation and the positive thinking and the affirmations and the visualization and the binaural beats and all of these things for years and years and years and years.

And sure, could I get my pain to come down some? Yes, absolutely. Could I Experience, you know, synchronicities or whatnot? Absolutely. Did it change my life? No, it didn't. Did it heal my body? No, it didn't. Not until I really understood what was impacting me and then re patterned it. That's when it became life changing.

That's when I got real results. And it wasn't until I really understood what was going on in my mind and started paying attention to those little details and then dedicated myself to transforming them. That's when it became pivotal. And you know, even if you think about, again, going back to last week's episode, the awareness of our volunteer as she was really looking at how her life would change as she heals, as far as spending more time with her husband and doing more things and, and going traveling.

And, you know, when you start to look at. Making this life changing. It's incredible. And I say that, of course, because I've lived it, you know, I have this second chance at life, if you will, and it's incredible and. What if everybody was able to really understand and tune in to these, the subtle awareness and master your mind?

You know, when you stop and think about it for a moment, we're so trained to have everybody else do everything for us. You know, if there's something wrong with your car, you take it in and somebody fixes it. Something's wrong with the computer, somebody fixes it for you or, you know, electrical or whatever it is or whatnot.

Uh, somebody fixes it for us, which is great because I don't know how to fix these things. So that's a great thing. And we can all appreciate each other. That's what's really great about our world is obviously we're all, we all help each other in different ways. It's beautiful. And but point being is that when it comes to really understanding our own minds, we should all be in the driver's seat.

of our own minds. We should all really understand and apply ourselves to learning how to use our own minds and how to program our own minds. And so, again, this may or may not feel like a profound insight to you, but as I share this, From my own experience, I can tell you that when I really dedicated myself to paying attention to the details, the details of how I felt, the details of creating a transformation, that was pivotal.

And so on this note, I want to invite you to an exercise, if you would like, a fun little exercise to just help continue to train your brain to get even better. I want you to get good at self awareness and even better at noticing and becoming aware of the things that are important, which would be this, I want to invite you to get good at even noticing patterns in your life to where you're getting even better at them.

But, I want to invite you to do this in the positive, so your mind's not always focused on the negative, but instead, I want to invite you to think about a positive pattern that you have and start noticing how often it comes up. Because I would say, likely, it occurs and happens maybe even more than you think it does.

And, by the way, As I'm saying this, if you're thinking to yourself, well, Brandy, I don't really have any positive patterns. Then I would invite you to then start creating one where you purposely make a point to feel a certain way multiple times a day. And so let's say, for example, you don't feel like you have any positive patterns and you said, okay, well, from now on, 10 times a day, I'm going to stop and just.

Feel love and feel loved to where you think about those who you absolutely love and you make a point to feel it, feel it, feel it, feel it, and then make a point to feel love from them so you feel loved and feel it, feel it, feel it, so you take in that feeling. And so I want to invite you to make sure to follow through with that, whether it is already pointing out a pattern that you already have and just Embodying and becoming aware and embracing that, or creating a new pattern where you're really thinking it and feeling it on a regular basis.

So it just starts to become a new positive pattern in your life. And of course from this you can start to make a wonderful shift in your health and in your life by doing this. So of course it's great for you and also it can help your mind gain even more clarity. regarding your transformation. Because again, you know, going back to the last episode, you can see how easy it is for information to stay stored in our subconscious minds, and we don't even realize it's there.

And that was so true for me. And so you can see that I have come a long way from where I was, where I was completely unaware of what was in my subconscious mind to transforming it, identifying, transforming, and changing that. And so the better you are with your own mind, the more you empower your health, your happiness, your life, your love, everything.
