And after recovering from my own life changing injury, it's become my mission to share with others the same discoveries I made that changed my health and my entire life. Minds are truly incredible. Hello and welcome to this week's quick IQ episode where we talk about insights and questions. And today I wanna talk about the topic of intuition just because it can be such an invaluable tool in our lives. You know, when we stop and think about it for a moment and we look at the big picture. We can see that world leaders and brilliant minds throughout history have credited their intuition for their discoveries or their successes.

You know, even if we think about Einstein, he mentioned that his discoveries were from following his own intuition. Or if we think about Oprah, Oprah has time and time again spoken about the importance of following her own intuition. And even in my life, I mean, my inner guidance and intuition, it's everything to me.

I mean, I couldn't imagine living without it now. However, prior to my injury, you know, over 20 years ago now, but prior to my injury, the idea of following my intuition is something that would have really been. Uncertain and scary and ridiculous, kind of, to me, really, because it was something that I, I didn't feel like I could count on.

And just the idea of following a gut feeling seemed like a very unsafe thing to do. However, intuition is so much more than that. And that's what I want to unpack today is I want to give you a few quick tips of things that you could look at in your life to be able to expand and even further develop your intuition and to understand it at a deeper level.

So the first way to kind of illustrate one way to think about your intuition is like this. is that, you know, all the time you might hear me use the analogy of a writer. And if you think about a writer, somebody writing something who has writer's block, information is not flowing through, you know, that they can't get the answers to come through.

However, if they unblock their mind, Then the answers can flow through, or if you think about it, you know, a lot of times people may feel partially blocked and partially unblocked. And so it feels a bit like a stop and go where some information comes in and it's a bit stuck. You know, that can happen as well.

My point being is that we can see from this example that when we are aligned, answers can flow through in the direction that we want to go. And so I would say that is the number one insight that I want to provide you with today is exactly that, is making sure that when you're wanting to follow your intuition, that you feel like you're aligning with what it is that you really do want.

So you're making a point to unblock your mind, to really get in your mind where you want to go, so to speak, because the more you align your mind with what it is that you're wanting, the easier it is for that information to flow through, just like again, using the example of the writer with writer's block.

And so that's the first insight. Now, the second insight And by the way, we're sitting here talking about a writer and information just flowing through, and I have a surprise for you, and it's so exciting. My book is being released very shortly. It's actually in the process of all of that happening right now, like today.

And so you are one of the first to know, and I have to say, I am so humbly proud of this book. It is just Beautiful. And the response from people receiving this book is just touching my heart. And the reason I say the response is just people reading it before it came out were just raving about it. They said, you know, gosh, you always talk about healing with the mind.

And, you know, I know that you've been able to show people how to get real results and the book is just so logical. Like it makes sense. sense, mind, body healing makes sense and working with the mind in a different way makes sense. And so I just, I love that. And not only that, but I say the book is releasing and that is here in the U S.

So the other thing is that it actually released in Europe first due to shipping and whatnot. So it already released in Europe and people have been messaging in saying just what an enjoyable eyeopening read it is. I mean, it's just, it touches my heart so much, you know, technically speaking, um, The reason that I even started this podcast was because once I healed myself, I thought, you know, I want people to understand that we can do this.

And so I started demonstrating healing under medical equipment. And then after that, I just wanted to then, you know, put it all the information in a book so that everybody could. And then I went to go get an agent and a publisher and they said, well, you know, Brandy, you need to create a following. And so like literally almost the next day I said, okay, well, I'm going to start a podcast and so, and I'm going to show people that we can heal with our minds.

And that's why when you entire podcast. That's exactly what I do on it is I take volunteers and show them how to release pain or heal themselves from all kinds of things. And so I have literally been on this mission of demonstrating people using the power of the mind under medical equipment and getting it published in medical journals and showing people in the podcast, showing people, demonstrating.

It's literally been like my mission. for the last, you know, over 10 years now, since, I mean, I healed in 2010. So it, it's been my mission to just show people it works and it's just kind of beautiful coming full circle today, actually. It brings tears to my eyes, actually. It's just beautiful. Um, So, uh, this is a really, really, really beautiful day.

Amazing. Amazing. As I sit here and just take it in, it's just, it's just beautiful. And so of course, my hope is that you will get the book and you will also tell your friends and family about the book as well and have them get a copy and have everybody get a copy because the more that every single person wakes up to the awareness that we're incredible and we can heal ourselves, the more amazing this world becomes.

And so that is. My hope is, you know, we've been going backwards, unfortunately, with health care for a long time where we're spending trillions and trillions of dollars on health care and more and more people are sick and chronically ill. And, and again, the great thing is, is in the book, it makes logical sense.

So it's like, it's, it's eye opening in that way where you can just. understand mind body healing in a whole new way. And so that's what I also love is that even people who are skeptical of mind body healing, just as I was, you can see how it's even possible for the mind to heal the physical body. It's just, it's incredible.

So anyways, it just, it touches my heart. My heart is so happy and thank you for being on this journey with me. Thank you. Thank you. And thank you. Thank you. Thank you to my team, but just thank you to you for being here, for sharing episodes for just all of it, just everything, everything. Thank you. My heart is just overflowing.

So thank you. And if you are working on, of course, healing yourself and changing your mindset and developing your mind and all of these things and learning how to heal your body, I strongly recommend getting it. And even as people were leaving endorsements. For my book, you know, as before it came out and in the publishing phase, everybody was raving about it, just saying, wow, how impressed they are and how eyeopening it is for mind body healing and it connects the dots and it's the missing piece of healing and of health and, and it's the part that the medical community is overlooked and just all of these things.

So anyways, I just, I couldn't help but mention it. Because as I'm sitting here talking about a writer and information flowing through, it is literally sitting right here on my mind. So I had to mention it. And I will have my team put a link in the show notes. So anyways, just excited. And, moving on to, uh, The second insight, which is this, which is that strong emotions can interfere with your intuition.

So if you have a really strong negative emotion, it can make it almost impossible to really hear your own intuition. And it can also, of course, cloud your judgment. And so getting out of the negative fear states is going to be important. And, you know, one way I like to think about our intuition is kind of like, if you think about it as universal wifi, if you will, you know, we're all connected to universe, God, divine energy, whatever you want to call it.

Mother nature. You know, if we think about birds, birds fly South for the winter. They know when to do that. And we're all really connected to the energy of life. And so we all have intuition, much like our cell phones. Oh, connect to cell towers, if you will. You know, we're always connected. It just depends on how much we have developed the ability to hear this and to listen to our intuition and connect to it.

And by the way, I say, listen to it, but sometimes intuition could be auditory. It could be, you know, a thought or almost a voice. And in some cases it could be a strong feeling. Just a strong kinesthetic type feeling, or it can be a vision. So it really depends on how your mind works. But point being is that we are all innately connected to this universal wifi, if you will.

And the more we clear our minds, the easier it is to really listen. So another way to kind of picture it is if you think about a restaurant and you're in a restaurant and it's really noisy, it's hard to hear what people are saying. However, if you clear the restaurant out, it's really easy. To hear somebody in the restaurant and that's the exact same thing with our mind is that the more mental chatter we have or negative emotions or stress or chaos, whatever it is, the harder it is to hear or feel or connect or gain clarity on our intuition.

And so that is key as well. Now, the third insight that I want to provide you is this, is you may have experienced a situation where you have lost trust. For your own intuition, I know I had experienced that in the past, you know, prior to my injury and all of this, where you feel like you're following your gut instinct, if you will, and then you make the wrong decision on something, or it doesn't go well, and you feel then like you can't trust your intuition.

And so this also, um, is about making sure you're really aligned with what it is that you're wanting subconsciously. Now, a way to illustrate this is, you know, an example you'll hear me use all of the time is, you know, unfortunately it's well known that a woman with an abusive father may leave him and find the abusive boyfriend, boss, spouse, et cetera, et cetera.

So you, of course, hear me use that example all the time just because it is so well known. And, um, uh, uh, We can see that, unfortunately, that pattern continues, but all of our patterns continue. We just don't necessarily see them with that level of clarity. And so my point in this case is that when a pattern is continuing, if we just are following our intuition, then likely what's going to happen is we're going to end up picking something that we don't want.

You know, we'll feel more attracted or connected to the very thing that we're not wanting because that's what we're aligned with. And so meaning that if somebody has a pattern of feeling unloved in relationships, then intuitively thinking about the partner or the friend or, you know, the situation they should pick, they may, quote unquote, intuitively Pick the one that leads them towards feeling unloved because that is their pattern.

And so this insight right here, this third insight is that the more that we clean up our patterns and these negative patterns that can affect our health and our lives, but the more that we clean up these patterns and really align with what we are wanting, then the better it is to follow our intuition because that's when it can serve as our own.

own internal guidance system to help us get there. And, you know, if we think about going back to the awareness that world leaders or brilliant minds have credited their discoveries on their intuition, we want to think beyond intuition and think, okay, yes, it's intuition. Yes. This internal guidance system, but they were also aligned.

with what it is that they were wanting as well, which then helped their intuition guide them there. And so another way you can think about it is a lot like, you know, using GPS and you put an address on the map and the GPS will guide you. give you guidance on how to get there. And we can look at our intuition in a similar way.

And so this insight is a lot like the very first insight that I mentioned, except for the fact there's a small distinction and it's this, it's the awareness of our patterns and being clear on what those are and genuinely transforming them. Because basically, in short, we can't use our intuition to outsmart our own patterns.

And I would say part of the reason that very successful people have used their intuition to get where they wanted to go was not just by following their intuition, but also because in the bigger picture, they were aligned. with where they wanted to go in a bigger way and then continue to follow their intuition to that.

So I'd say both are true and making sure to align your mind towards the relationship or the love or the positive patterns and the health, the happiness, all of it that you're really wanting in life so that the more you align with it, the more your intuition can also help take you in that direction. So that's number three.

And the last one, number four is so, so important and it is the topic of integrity. You know, I strongly feel that I wouldn't be able to do the things that I do and connect with people's energy so easily. without integrity. I feel like it is a gateway to opening up health, happiness, life, our minds, just so many things.

And integrity is at the core of that. It's just so key. And by the way, all of the time I'll work with people who are doing that very thing, you know, are making sure to stay in good integrity and align with what they're wanting. And then it's fun because that intuition starts to show up. You know, for some people, it might be some chills in the back of their neck or on their arms or, you know, they start to get that intuition that just, it, it starts developing and it's beautiful.

And so that's the reason that I wanted to share this with you is, you know, You know, could you imagine what it would look like if we looked around the world and everybody was connected to their intuition, their internal guidance, or, again, going back to universal Wi Fi, you know, if everybody's tapped into their own innate spiritual universal Wi Fi, if you will, that we all have, I mean, it would just be incredible.

And by the way, if you're somebody who is new to the topic of really you know, working with your mind or developing your intuition, and you're new to that topic, then you might be listening to this, thinking it all sounds a little bit crazy. And if so, I get it again, that was me. I was there. And if so, I would strongly, again, encourage you to.

to think about the number of world leaders or brilliant minds throughout history who have credited their intuition for their discoveries or for their success and really stop and think about that for a moment just because you know when we really look at this innate connection that we all have and we think about animals and we think about birds and we think about you know our Innate connection to life.

It is truly incredible how gifted we all are, how incredible our minds are if we learn how to tap into these abilities. And so that of course is my hope for you. And my suggestion is to even take just one of these key insights and see if you can start applying it into your life. in your own life.
