Hello and welcome. It is so wonderful to connect with you. I just love that you are here, continuing to expand your mind, your energy, your consciousness, your healing. I just love it. And I just love today's episode and our beautiful volunteer and herself. honesty and her self awareness and the changes that she's making and the insights from this episode.

It's all just really, really beautiful. And the health issue that our volunteer is working with today has to do with her eyesight. And I know for a lot of people, eyesight can be an issue maybe to a small degree, or maybe, you know, losing eyesight with age over time. You know, it can affect people in a variety of different ways.

And so it's just beautiful. And the health issue that our volunteer is working with today has to do with her eyesight. Now, I know a lot of people have eyesight issues to varying degrees. And with her eyesight issues, they've been very extreme. And so that's what we're going to be working on. Now, I know that a lot of people might think that it's impossible to use your own mind to actually create changes in your eyesight.

However, we can actually see that research. has shown that stress can affect your eyesight. Furthermore, during my own injury, you hear me talk about multiple personality disorder all of the time. You know, that as I was researching during my own injury, one of the things that opened my mind to the awareness of how powerful our own minds really are and the healing ability in our mind has to do with stress.

Research on multiple personality disorder, how one person could have some type of illness or pain or health issue in one personality but not in another personality, even though they share the same physical body. One of the research studies that blew my mind as I was going through medical journals was the study of a woman who had multiple personalities and And she was actually blind in some personalities, but not in others.

And that was mind blowing to me, that a person could be legally blind, cannot see, completely blind for many, many years, and blind in some personalities. And not in others, even though it's the same physical body. I mean, that research was just really pivotal for me. And the reason that I'm bringing that up is because our volunteer today, she was legally blind in one eye and the other eye has about 50 percent vision.

And so that's what we're going to be working on today. And by the way, you may remember, even in a past episode, I also worked with another volunteer who had eyesight that she could barely see and was able to change it through the course of the session. So it's just incredible. And I also know that for many people, what we're working on on the podcast may seem impossible.

And so I always want to try to ground it and root it in science, if you will. And so connecting science and spirituality and, you know, being a bridge for that, or expanding the awareness of what you're doing. is really possible and what we're all capable of when we understand how to use our own minds.

And so that of course is the goal. And so for that reason, in the show notes, I will go ahead and make sure to include some links to medical journals if you are somebody who likes to kind of geek out on their research a bit. So I will include that. Well, just to keep it all grounded. Then of course, as far as the expansive part, I will be checking into the energy of our beautiful volunteer, Jackie, and we'll see the specific information, what's going on in her mind and emotions and energy that's really contributing.

to this problem. And so that's where we're going as we step in with our beautiful volunteer, Jackie. Here we go. Hello,

Jackie. Hi Brandy. Hi, it's wonderful to meet you. Nice to meet you finally. Yes, it's a pleasure. And what can I help you with today? Beautiful. Yeah. So, uh, just some background for you about, like I said, five years ago, I had perfect vision, uh, then I had a car accident with a concussion, had lots of problems with my vision while recovering from that.

And then just over a year ago, out of nowhere, uh, I got developed a blind spot in my left eye and that I eventually was. Uh, determined to be legally blind and then this, this spring, winter, spring, the, uh, it happened in the other eye and, you know, you get the story that, you know, there's nothing they can do for you.

They don't know why it happened. And through the treatment of trying to like, Saved my right eye. The left eye got a little bit better, but now I'm considered low vision with really bad vision now for You know, probably permanently it's continuing to improve a little but it's it's been a wild ride with that and I Figured this was a good thing to try to see if we can make things keep improving.

Okay, so um Thank you. So let's do this Let's do this. Um You Thank you. Give me one second. Yes. Okay, so if I ask you, uh, right now you said your right eye is worse than your left, correct? Uh, it, it actually, we, the right eye is still better than the left eye. Okay. And so if I ask you what level you would say of vision, of loss of vision or blurriness, loss of vision you have in your right eye and what level you have in your left eye.

Okay. My left eye, I would say I've got like, ooh, 20%. Uh, right eye, I'm running about 50. Okay. So, uh, so you would say to confirm, you would say left eye, you can see at 20 percent and right eye, you can see at 50%. Is that correct? That's correct. Yeah. Like the left eye, I can't make out words on the screen. Okay.

Okay. So give me one second. Okay. So when I step in your energy, um, bingo, there's a feeling of feeling furious actually towards the car accident, like jumping up, like there's a feeling of furious. Are you familiar with that feeling? Yeah. Okay. Yeah, okay. So literally, I mean when I'm in your energy, like what I see is like jumping up and down furious.

Can you see that? Uh, I can relate. You can relate? Okay. Yep. So I'm gonna ask you to breathe.

Okay, so I'm gonna ask you to breathe and give me one second.

Okay, so if I ask you,

it looks like a, and I'm just going to the past for a moment real quick, but it looks like a brother. Uh, but maybe it's a dad. Uh, do you have a brother? Yep. Can you give me his initial? C. Bingo. Okay. So, bingo. If I ask you, uh, coming back to the car accident, if I ask you your level of frustration towards the whole situation.

Um, zero to ten, what would you say? Uh, like nine. Nine. And if I ask you how much there's a part of you that feels like it's not fair, what would you say? Ten. Okay. So I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe. Now, out of curiosity, if you knew that things would get better, if you absolutely, absolutely, absolutely knew that things would get better, if you knew that for sure, Would you be willing to start letting go of some of the upset?

Oh, I'd love to. Absolutely on board. Yeah. Okay. So I'm going to ask you to breathe. Now, if I ask you to remember the awareness that all change starts from within, right? So all change starts from within, right? So what most people want is they want life to be perfect and then they'll change. Or everything is going great and then they feel loved.

Then they feel happy. Then they feel But we have to remember It's exactly opposite. That change needs to happen on the inside for then it to create the change on the outside, right? Mm hmm. So if I ask you, is your anger and frustration and feelings of unfair inside, is that serving you? No. So I'm going to ask you to breathe.

So they're not serving you at all, right? Now, if you knew that they were only perpetuating the problem, how soon to you'd want to actually stop feeling? Oh, like, I'd stop yesterday. So, I'm going to ask you to breathe, bingo. Now, if I ask you how many times throughout life you've, even if I asked you towards your brother, how much you have a feeling of even growing up of feeling like things were unfair, can you find that feeling?

Oh, definitely. Definitely. Definitely. So, when I, when I point out the pattern of feeling like things are unfair and feeling through the roof frustrated. How much can you see that pattern in your life? Oh, easily. Bingo. So I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe.

Alright, so let's go ahead and pause it just for a quick moment. You know, first and foremost, I love her self awareness. I love her self honesty. Just a beautiful, beautiful being. And also, something you'll want to notice is this. Is that all of the time we hear in our culture, in our world, when it comes to manifesting or healing, it's Creating our lives that just think positive, you know, just think about the positive, just be lifted.

Now notice I am definitely asking her to let go of the negative and think in the positive and Go beyond that to then also Identify the patterns and the reason I just want to highlight and emphasize that is because I've seen so often where people in their lives They're trying to heal or create radical change And so they just work on thinking positive and as they're working on positive thinking positive thinking the brutal patterns Still end up manifesting somehow and it's because it's also important to Address those as well.

That is key. And so it's really important for healing and for life transformation to be very specific. And so that's where we're going as we step back in with our beautiful volunteer, Jackie. Here we go. I

ask you to breathe and I'm going to ask you just for a moment to notice if it's a pattern. Now I'm going to push a little bit. Okay. And I'm going to say, you see the pattern, right? Mm hmm. Mm hmm. And I'm going to push a little bit and I'm going to say, well, go ahead and keep it if you want. I mean, I wouldn't recommend it, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't recommend it at all, but you're the power, right?

So I can't make you change it. So you're the power, and so I'm gonna ask you to breathe, and if I ask you how much longer would you like to hold on to this anger, and how, when would you like to start shifting it? Oh, I've, I've been trying, like, I don't want this feeling. Okay, so I'm gonna ask you to breathe.

And so I'm going to ask you to breathe. Now, if you think about your future vision, if you think about your vision of even just your power vision, like a vision moving forward in life and you see yourself where everything actually does get better and you see yourself where actually everything actually does get better.

It's kind of like this. If you knew that you would even get rid of this pattern, this pattern of feeling frustrated because everything's unfair and frustrated that everything's unfair, if you were liberated from this in your life, so it was no longer your life experience, how would that feel to you? Uh, freeing, liberating.

Okay. So, If you think about it for a moment, part of the gift that I got out of my own injury was understanding that I had certain patterns that were messing me up. That when I really got rid of those patterns, I identified the specific patterns and transformed them. It was pivotal. So as I always say, um, you know, whatever, when we have some type of health issue, our body is giving us a check engine light.

It's like a spiritual check engine light. that says, hey, something is off. So if you, from this experience, woke up to the awareness that you have had this pattern going on, that everything is unfair, and you had that over and over and over again, if you even woke up to the awareness of this pattern and you changed it, how pivotal do you think that would be for your life?

100%. Great. So, I'm going to ask you to breathe, and if I ask you, if you got rid of this pattern, would you expect your life to improve if you no longer had this pattern? Definitely. Definitely. So, I'm going to ask you to breathe, and if you also woke up to the awareness fully, fully, fully, fully, that your thoughts help create your life and you are the power, do you feel like if you really mastered this pattern?

This ability that your entire future would be better because of it. Mm hmm. Okay But then you would also have to let go of the anger about the current circumstances and you'd instead Need to focus on really doing that. Mm hmm. Which one would you rather have? Oh, I'd rather let go of the anger Okay, so I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe.

Bingo. Now, this is the thing, okay, is that I want you to notice how before, if you said to, it feels like your mom, uh, can you give me your mom's, uh, first initial? P. Bingo. Bingo. So notice, and I'll kind of mirror this to you, if I said, Mom, it's not fair, brother's doing this, this, this. And then she goes, okay, well, here you go.

And she gives me something now to even it out. Can you see how I could easily link up that unfair is connected to reward? All I have to do is say, this is unfair. And my mom says, okay, well, here you go. Bingo. Uh, sort of thing. Can you see that? Yeah, a little. Okay. So, I would say, uh, zero to ten when I look in your energy.

I see that about a level, bingo, about a six, seven. Bingo. Okay. Okay. Uh, so I'm gonna ask you to breathe.

All right. So, uh, let's go ahead and pause it just for a quick moment. You know, first and foremost, again, I love her self awareness, I love her self honesty, just beautiful, and also in this moment, I want to invite you to look at the depth of mind programming. You know, notice what I was just talking to her about where, you know, if somebody says, Oh, this is unfair.

And then, you know, a mother or somebody else gives a reward for it. That is something we need to be very careful about in our culture. It is something that I see reinforced all of the time. You know, the example you'll also hear me use are examples such as somebody saying, Oh, I look horrible in this shirt.

And, and then of course, what do we expect somebody to say? No, you don't. And unfortunately, what happens in this case is that it links up the feeling of self criticism to reward. And so the brain will want to continue to self criticize, even if it's not getting a reward every time, it gets it linked up that it is sometimes.

So it keeps doing that and that's just one simple example or another example you hear me use is that maybe a child has an owie and so an adult says, Oh, let me, let me kiss your booboo. Let me kiss your owie and make it better. And then we unfortunately get love linked up to illness and that can get linked up in the subconscious mind.

And if we expand on this. We all know that, you know, we've heard before with children, if a child doesn't get positive attention, they'll get what? Negative attention. You know, they'll head towards the negative if it equates to attention. Or another example of miswired mind programming is the cutter.

Somebody who cuts themselves and experiences a feeling of relief or euphoria from cutting themselves or, I mean, the list goes on, somebody who gets it linked up in their mind that drugs are cool and they have a hard time maybe not getting sucked into drugs because they have a strong feeling that it's cool or, you know, there's just all of these different links that get programmed into the subconscious mind or things like relationships are not safe.

Love isn't safe. Or whatever it is. Then people get these deep feelings miswired in their mind programming and they stay stuck. Now, if we bring it back to this moment with her and we really think about this situation, anybody can have compassion for this situation. You know, likely if you're listening to her story, you have absolute compassion.

And that's part of the reason, of course, I sound like a soccer coach or softball coach or whatever you want to call it, is because if I say to her, Oh, I'm so sorry for this situation. What am I going to do? I would reinforce the problem. And that happens all of the time in our culture. I see that back to back to back.

So of course, when I show up here in working with somebody, I have to sound a bit like a soccer coach or football coach or whatever you want to call it. Like, Hey, all right, let's go. Let's change it. Otherwise. I just become part of the problem and start reinforcing it with them and it doesn't create that real change.

And by the way, actually, it's really funny because recently I was just speaking and actually leading a retreat in New York and some of the people there Knew me very well, you know, had been following my work for quite a while. And some had just listened to the podcast in some episodes. And some people said, wow, you are actually so nice and so loving and sweet and soft in person.

And it, it, and it was, it was funny because, you know, they hear on the podcast, of course, the soccer coach or softball coach version, because that's the way I need to be to not reinforce. The very links in a person's mind. Now, what can you take from that for yourself is this, is that as you work with your own mind, that it'll be important to make sure not to give yourself self sympathy or rewards for some type of wounding or illness, because unfortunately it just continues to perpetuate and reinforce the problem.

And that is the problem. One of the problems that I see all of the time is people will do that very thing, and by the way, I've literally seen people unparalyzed body parts, where they have a certain part of the body paralyzed, and then, and, and, you know, as they shift their emotions. They get it to where it's moving.

And then I've seen somebody trigger them with this type of, with, with a caring type of emotion, if you will, a sympathy type of emotion, if you will. And the body part goes back to paralyzed, not from some type of. negative emotion, but from positive reinforcement to a negative pattern. So it is imperative to change it because when the positive is linked up to the negative and we keep reinforcing it, it perpetuates the problem.

And expanding upon that, a lot of times that's the very thing that a person wants. Meaning this, meaning that a lot of times if somebody is experiencing hardship, what do they want? sympathy, or some type of coddling or nurture, it's also the very thing that reinforces the problem. And similarly, we can look at an alcoholic.

If they're feeling stressed, they may want and crave more alcohol, and they may crave it and crave it and crave it even more because they're more stressed. And that's exactly the problem with healing and with transformation, is people may have the wounding and then what do they want from it? They crave the love, the connection, the sympathy, whatever it is.

And just like the situation with an alcoholic where it perpetuates the problem, the same is true with a negative pattern. If you give it love or sympathy or a bunch of nurture, it then continues to perpetuate the problem or reinforce the problem at a deeper level you. Even if it feels soothing at the time, you know, just like again, using the example of the alcoholic.

If an alcoholic is stressed and they have a drink, well, how soothing does it feel at the time? It feels very soothing and yet. it still perpetuates the very problem at another level. And so that's my point is that even if we're craving something, we really need to be willing to transform it instead of continue to take the same pattern.

And we'll want to also reward the mind for going in a different way, which you'll notice as we step back in with our beautiful volunteer, Jackie. Here we go.

So let's say for a moment, if you met somebody, And they said to you, life is so unfair, life is so unfair, life is so unfair. Would you feel attracted to that person or maybe not as attracted to that person if somebody else said, hey, I'm empowered. My thoughts help create my life. I can create a great life.

Which one would feel, which one would you feel more pulled towards? Definitely the second one. Definitely the second one, right? So I'm going to ask you to breathe. So the life is, so the it's not fair feeling is not, uh, it's not rewarding. It's not attractive. It's not rewarding. It's not going to get you what you want, but you can see the pattern, right?

Yeah, absolutely. Okay. So I'm going to ask you to breathe. And I'm going to ask you to be willing to let go of the anger and the upset and the blah, blah, blah, and the pattern itself, not great, not what you want, not who you want to be, but instead wanting to transform into a feeling of feeling empowered, a feeling great in life, a feeling, uh, capable and empowered and having a great life.

Correct? Mm hmm. Great. Great. And I'm going to ask you to breathe. And I'm going to ask you to picture exactly that. Your thoughts help create your life, right? Mm hmm. So, I'm going to ask you to picture that you're stepping into an empowered being, that you can see, like, and by the way, if I ask you how clearly you can see this pattern, this old pattern of it's not fair, it's not fair, injustice, it's not fair, it's not fair, how much you see that?

Ten out of ten. Ten out of ten, right? So, the great thing is, is you see what I see. And you see the problem and I see the problem, so I'm going to ask you to breathe. Bingo. And I'm going to invite you to go ahead and keep that pattern for another 40, 50 years if you want. I mean, I wouldn't want it. Don't get me wrong.

I would definitely not want it, but you can keep it if you'd like. No thanks. Or you can get rid of it. Okay. When would you? Smart. Very smart. I have to agree with you there. Yeah. So if I ask, you just want to like another five years or 10, how, how much longer would you say you'd like to have it? No, no more at all.

No more at all. Okay, so I'm going to ask you to breathe, and I'm going to ask you to take in the feeling, the feeling, the feeling, the feeling that you feel empowered, that you're stepping into empowerment, you're stepping into your strength, that you're going to create a great, amazing life. You see the pattern, I see the pattern, and you're excited because once you see it, you just get determined, and you know you can change it.

You can change it. You can change it, so I'm going to ask you to breathe, but you have to, of course, be willing to change. Are you willing to change? Absolutely. And you're willing to let go of the anger? Yes. A hundred percent? A hundred percent. Great. So, I'm going to ask you to breathe, and I'm going to ask you to breathe, and I'm going to ask you to be willing to change.

And I want you to notice how stuck you feel in your life right now, where you're telling yourself you're stuck and there's nothing that you can do, and that you're stuck, and the problems that you have regarding this whole situation are just going to last forever and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Can you see that? Yep. Okay. And is that, is that what you want to manifest? Definitely not. No, no, no. Go ahead and tell yourself that. That those, your problems you have, there's no way out. You're going to be stuck there forever, right? No, I, I refuse. I've actually refused to believe that. Great. So I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe smart.

Smart. So, I'm going to ask you to breathe, and I'm going to ask you to take in the feeling that all change starts from within. So, the more you change, the more you open your mind to the solutions. Now, the example you hear me use all of the time is this, is if you think about a writer who has writer's block.

They have writer's block, writer's block. They can't see the answer. They can't sit the answer. They have writer's block. When they shift their mind, more and more of the answers, the ideas, the information starts coming in. So, I'm going to ask you to breathe. And I'm going to ask you, are you willing to start shifting your mindset so you can access more of the answers to get out of your situation, to change your situation?

So I'm going to ask you to breathe, bingo, and I'm going to ask you to breathe and take in the feeling that you're willing to start changing. Now, another example that I use all the time is this. Is that, you know, if somebody feels like they're, like, they're 10 feet underground, you know, they're stuck between a rock and a hard place.

So if somebody's in a hole, and they're in a hole, and they're in a hole, in a hole, if they look around while they're in the hole, how clearly can they see out? Yeah, they can't. They can't. Now let's say they start lifting themselves, and lifting, and lifting, and lifting, up, and up, and up, and up, then how well can they see?

They can see all around. All around. Right? So the thing of it is, is we all get in a place in life before most of us, or some of us, I know I've been in a place where I felt like I was stuck in a hole, and I had to lift and lift and lift, and the more I lifted, the more I could see the answers, and the more I could start to create the change.

Does that make sense? Absolutely. Great. So I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe. And in order to lift, you've got to let the heaviness go because trying to lift while holding on to the heaviness makes it a lot harder, even impossible. Now I'm going to ask you to breathe.

All right, so let's go ahead and actually pause the session right here because there are some key insights that I really want to invite you to look at. You know, first and foremost, I love her self honesty. I love her self awareness and I love her determination.

Her willingness to change, to transform, the level of determination to change is just it. You can feel it from her energy, which is beautiful. I just love that. And I respect that so much in her. And for that reason, I actually just want to pause the session right here and pull some key insights that you'll want to take from this.

You know, first and foremost, I mentioned previously that. You know, I even told her, I said, all right, I'm going to push. And then notice as she's changing and she's saying, well, going, you know, a different direction that I say, smart, smart, smart, great, smart. Why? Because it's rewarding of the brain. It's saying, Hey, I'm going to push this direction.

Don't do that, but come this way, rewarding, smart. And so on some level, as you're working with your own mind, you always want that there, like if you are. pushing yourself at all in the not direction. Like you're saying, don't do that anymore, brain. Don't do that. You always want to incentivize it to make sure to go towards the positive.

And then, so that's part of what I'm doing here. And, and I do it in a variety of different ways. A lot of times when a person sees their pain go down or gone, or their health start changing and they see that benefit, that of course. is also positive reinforcement for the change. And so there's a lot of ways that you can create positive reinforcement in your own life.

But that's what I want to invite you to do is take a second to think about that very thing, that making sure that you're incentivizing yourself. That's one insight that I want to invite you to. Another insight is this, is that when we're in a state of determination, We could move forward in a state of frustrated determination or what I like to call blissful determination or euphoric determination.

And the analogy that I always use for that is like, is a feeling of runner's high. You know, if we're running, it can feel euphoric. You know, your body can hit states of euphoria from running, or even if we're feeling productive or things are in flow, or another example you'll hear me use is if you're driving down the freeway and the music's up, the windows are down and you're driving along and it just feels good.

You get in this state of flow. And so. You'll want to always make sure that as you're creating a change, that you are rewarding your brain and that you are moving towards blissful determination. That is key because I know even in my own life, when I was a mess and injured and all of that, you know, there was a point where I was in the frustrated determination, like I have to do this and I need to get this and anything.

And it was not that positive feeling. Okay. of determination, it was frustrated determination. And so it may seem like a small distinction, but it is key for getting real results. And so I want to invite you to take that in and even taking in the insights of lifting yourself as we talked about, as I was, you know, sharing with her, lifting yourself out of the hole, the more you can see with more clarity.

And so. Those are the insights that I want to share with you. Now, as I also briefly mentioned at the very end, we also need to let go of the blocks and the negative. And, and so it's, it becomes a process of creating that change. The analogy that I always use for that is like an example of seeing somebody walk.

Now, what do we do when we walk? We have to first We have to first take a step. So we have to take new ground and then with our back foot, we let go of old ground, let go of the past of the ground behind us. Then we take another step and we let go of the past and we take another step and we let go of the past.

And so just like walking where we take a new step, we have to let go and we take a new step and let go. That's also what we're doing. creating transformation in our mindset, in our health, and healing in life, is we take a step forward. We have to make sure to release, and then the more we can release with our back foot, the more we can take new ground and step forward.

And so it's much like walking or even running. You know, the more we get good at taking new ground and releasing old ground, and taking new ground and releasing old ground, it really becomes a beautiful flow and transformation. where we can radically take our lives in the direction that we want to go.

And so, that is the analogy that I always shared in my classes is exactly that. Is that that's the way you want to think about it in creating your transformation in your life. is both are needed to really create a change. And so on next week's episode, we'll dive deeper in with our volunteer, Jackie, and work on creating those shifts.

As more and more people become empowered, it really will change our world for the better. That is the point and the power of these demonstrations is to create a radical shift in our world consciousness.

By showing everyone what we are all capable of. And of course, each volunteer will really need to follow through to reinforce their programming to maintain their results. But the point is for you to see that you really can create rapid results in your health and your life. If you really understand how to use your mind, you're incredible.

And I do want to be clear though, that most people will not get results this fast on their own. I make it look very easy because of the discoveries that I made. You'll want to remember that there's so much more going on in our minds at a deeper level than people realize.
