My name is Brandy Gillmore, and after recovering from my own life changing injury, it's become my mission to share with others the same discoveries I made. that changed my health and my entire life. Let's begin.

Hello and happy, beautiful day to you. On today's episode, I want to share with you three things that I see people do that actually sabotages your health. their progress on their spiritual journey. You know, all the time I'll see people who wake up to this awareness that our thoughts help create our lives and getting on the spiritual journey, but then end up finding themselves stuck or overwhelmed in different ways, and they don't realize what's going on.

They don't realize why there's a or a different struggle. And so that's where I want to go. Now, these three things really common and they may or each one may or may not apply to you, but you'll want to listen to all three of them because they're just, they're very different perspectives and different awareness.

For example, one gentleman that I worked with, just a beautiful, beautiful being, very successful, had made a multi million dollar company, great for the planet, great for our world. And then the more he became spiritual, the more he started sabotaging it, even though the company was really great for our planet, great for the world, great company and great ethics.

I mean, all of the things. But he started sabotaging it and he couldn't figure out why. But at a deeper level in his subconscious mind, the more he was in spiritual circles and he started to build this belief that money was bad and money was not spiritual. Now, if we stop and think about it for a moment, if you've had this belief, here's a way to think about it is this, is If you think about clothing for a moment, clothing can be very spiritual.

There can be spiritual clothing that people wear for religion, for ceremonies, or, or that looks spiritual. And then also, if we think about it, there can be clothing that is provocative or related to gangs. I mean, there can be, it can vary. The same is true with money. You know, people can do things like steal money and they can do negative, they buy drugs with money, or they can also live very spiritual lives, have money from situations that are a win win that support everybody that, you know, is, is a good type of money that's made from good integrity.

That is spent with great integrity. And so that type of money is more spiritual. So my point being is that even with this gentleman, when I started to bring in that awareness to him, his company started to recover and recover beautifully. was even more profitable than it had ever been because now his spiritual beliefs were working for him instead of against him.

And so that is number one. Now, number two is this, and this can be a little tricky, is that a lot of times people might think, well, okay, well, spending time in silence is good. Spending time in meditation is good. But this is what I've seen happen. Now, think about this for a moment with an open mind.

Imagine for a moment if you go from a spa where you're feeling relaxed and everything's really quiet to a dance club. How do you feel? It feels too much. It feels overwhelming. The, the contrast is just way too much. You can't, it's like, it'd be hard to go from a massage and a spa to a dance club energy.

That's quite a shift in energy. And so what I've seen happen is this, is I've seen some mothers who love their children, who are great people, great intentions for their kids. And what happens is then they'll say, okay, well, let me start meditating to have more peace of mind. And then they go into a place of meditation and then maybe Their kids are laughing or playing throughout the day and it feels like too much.

Suddenly they feel more and more overwhelmed and agitated and frustrated because now it feels like that feeling of going from a spa and a massage to a dance party to where even if their kids are just playing and having fun, they feel overwhelmed and agitated. Aggravated and frustrated and they feel guilty for feeling that way.

And I can't tell you how many times I've seen this spiral. And then it leads to illness because then there's the guilt and the frustration and the hurt and the overwhelm and all of these emotions where somebody really got on the spiritual path to grow and expand. But because of when they're silencing their mind, it's becoming a problem.

And so from this, you might want to think that. To do might be this, might be that if you are going to spend time with a connection with universe, maybe the best time to do it is right before bed every day instead of first thing in the morning or throughout the day when it might create that huge juxtaposition to where it feels like it's overwhelming or too much.

Or what I've had some people do is instead of just silencing their mind, they're filling their mind with feelings of connection with God, universe, divine, like filling their mind with excitement and joy for the day in the beginning of the day where they're feeling like, you know, this day is going to be incredible and thank you universe or thank you God, divine energy and feeling amped in a positive way.

Because then what happens is then when let's say that the children wake up and they're getting ready or whatnot, then they're full of Happiness and joy, instead of meditating first thing in the morning, and then the kids want to do this, that, and it feels too much and chaotic. I can't tell you how many times I've seen this play out in a negative way that results in somebody who is a great mother or father, who is suddenly feeling overwhelmed with life and everything in it.

because of that contrast. So that's another, you know, food for thought, just making it very practical. And so there's that. Now the third insight that I want to give you is this, is increasing sensitivity. So we had actually talked about this on the last podcast. Now, All of the time I'll see people who understand the power of emotions and so they start getting more and more and more tuned into their emotions.

But now imagine for a moment if they don't know how to shift their emotions. They don't know how to really clear patterns and clear the negativity or clear the triggers. What happens? It's like becoming aware of Weeds in the garden that you didn't know were there before but you come more and more and more aware of them and you don't Know how to clear them.

You can actually start to feel more overwhelmed or more inundated If you don't have an effective way to really transform them and further We had talked about even on the last podcast episode with I worked with a beautiful volunteer Sophie But when I had worked with her, we'd also talked about just that feeling of being very very sensitive And I have seen that before.

So often where people start to take in and program into their minds, that it's great to be sensitive. But then it backfires. To where they start getting sensitive about all kinds of things. Like, I've seen people who were, you know, maybe they get offended because somebody speaks poorly about their gender.

And not their actual dog, but a dog that's a similar type. So if somebody said, Oh, I don't really love Chihuahuas. And then somebody else is like, Oh my gosh, well, I have a Chihuahua. And they're so offended by that. And they feel like they need to stand up for what's right. So that overly sensitive is becoming more of.

And you've probably seen that in our culture in a variety of different ways. I mean, I've seen people even in the past couple months, you know, people who get hugely sensitive, like a man who got very, very, very sensitive about somebody giving feedback. on his website, right? And he didn't build it, but saying, Hey, this is what you want to do instead.

This is what you want to do instead. And this gentleman, a beautiful, beautiful being who used to be extremely successful has found himself increasingly sensitive to all of these different things. And I just, I can't tell you how often I've seen that where people are getting more and more sensitive. And if you think about it in our culture, if you ask yourself, do you notice people getting more sensitive, more easily hurt?

And so if you recall on the last episode, we talked about sensitive can be a superpower. Like, you know, I've become very sensitive to what people are feeling. And when you're sensitive in a positive way. It helps you to tune in, to know what you're feeling, to transform it, to change it, to be in control of your thoughts and your emotions and reprogram your sub subconscious mind.

So sensitivity can be an absolute superpower, but. if you're feeling sensitive where you're easily hurt and offended and that's not good because I mean that's like becoming very sensitive and every time somebody touches you it's painful. That's not helpful for your life and so that's another thing that I've seen and I just wanted to expand on that a bit from last week's podcast and by the way if you missed that then I strongly recommend going back and watching that video.

I'll make sure to have my team put it in the link but just that awareness because let's be honest. If you really look at our culture, would you say that people are becoming more and more sensitive? And for me personally, like, yes, I want to be more tuned in. And as you can see, I mean, I, when I work with people, if you've seen past episodes, I mean, I work with volunteers, help them to release pain in minutes using only their mind.

So sensitivity in my life is really been a superpower. It has helped me to heal myself, to change my entire life, to help other people heal themselves also to figure out. Healing. I mean, it's been absolutely incredible. It's been a superpower, but, and, and that's true for all of us. The more tuned in we get, the more it can be a superpower, but if we take it in a painful way, it actually becomes a problem.

It can lead to illness and pain and problems and all of that. And so, that said, I want to invite you to look at any of these three insights and notice if they're affecting your life, and if so, Definitely look at transforming them. Profitability, abundance, happiness, love, joy, feeling good in your relationships, all of it, you know, that's true, spiritual and spiritful. So, that's living a spiritual and spiritful life.
