My name is Brandy Gillmore, and after recovering from my own life changing injury, it's become my mission to share with others the same discoveries I made. that changed my health and my entire life. Our minds are truly incredible. The placebo is proof of this.

Each week I will take this simple awareness to a whole new level. I will even coach live callers to free themselves of physical pain using only their mind. And then I'll provide you with a combination of practical and spiritual insights that you can use to master your mind and body. Your emotions and your energy to help you heal your health, yourself and your life.

Hello, and welcome to this week's quick IQ episode, where we talk about insights and questions. And today I want to talk about a very important insight about the topic of falling back into sleep. And that might be falling in love in a relationship or even falling in love with life itself. Now, the reason that this topic comes up is because anytime you go through a very hard period of time, it can change the way you feel about a relationship or life at a deeper level.

And you may not even realize that it's happened. You know, in my own life, prior to my injury, I had so much ambition for life. I was excited about traveling and the things that I wanted to do and friends and connections and just so many things. I just had this. ambition, this drive, this excitement for life and what I wanted my life to be like.

And then I was injured and I lost my ambition for life. I lost my excitement. It just was, I mean, I was, you know, in survival mode. And then not only that, but I went through this long period of time of not really to live. I mean, I was in so much pain and life felt hard and like a struggle and it was just trying to survive and get through the day.

And when you go through a long period like that, you, you tend to lose your excitement, of course, for life. You just don't have, you lose complete contact with those feelings. Now, part of the reason that I'm bringing this up is because of course, if you're here, you might. through that period of time, or if we stop and think about the period of time through COVID and political stress and whatnot, et cetera, et cetera, for a lot of people, they've gone through that time of survival mode or living in stress for a prolonged period of time where.

I've seen so many people who have lost their excitement for life and even lost touch of what it even feels like to feel that excitement for life. And if that is you, I want to invite you to bring those feelings back, to really get them in to start feeling that excitement for life. Now, you might think to yourself as you're listening to this, Brandy, I'm still in that stress mode and I get it.

Because going through my injury. That's what I did. I really started shifting the way that I felt about life and you know all the time people will Think you know of course Brandy you're so happy in life because you got your health and your life back But I would say it's the opposite. I started bringing in the feeling of excitement for life When I was in a bad place, that's when I started doing it.

I started bringing in this feeling of excitement of saying, okay, well, basically what I would tell myself is I said, you know, if life is going to feel about me the way I feel about life, I better start changing, you know, cause I did not like life. And I thought, okay, well, if life is going to reflect this back to me, Oi, like I better start changing.

And so I did, I made a point to really start changing the way I felt about life, to fall back in love with life. And I made a point to do that. And so that's the insight that I want to bring to you today is exactly that, is if you have lost your love for life, I want to invite you to Purposely start bringing that back and by the way if you've never loved life I know for some people, you know Maybe you grew up in extreme survival mode or in a lot of negativity that maybe you've never had that before and And you start creating that in your life where you say, okay, look, I'm going to purposely start falling in love with life.

Or maybe you haven't been there at all. Maybe you've, you know, floated through COVID and you were fine and the political everything and you were fine. And maybe you've kept that zest and that love for life, but maybe there's a relationship that you went through a hard period of time with where you love somebody, but you've also.

lost some of the intense love and wonderful feelings that you've had. And maybe that's a place in life where you want to start shifting it, but either way, that's the insight that I want to bring to you is exactly that is starting to really shift the way you feel about life. Now, for me personally, Some of the things that I did is I, I absolutely love palm trees, right?

It's simple, but I love them. And so I just started taking the things that I love and just started feeling those feelings of love for them again, palm trees, or even thinking about the ocean, I love the ocean and I would think about the ocean and I would just bring in the feeling of how much I love the ocean, or I would look at the stars.

In the sky at night and just look at them and just love them and started just loving the things that I loved about life and thinking about them and taking it in to just feel it, to just fall back in love with life. And that's what I did. You know, I just said, look, I, if I need to change the way that I feel about life, so life will start changing the way it feels about me, you know, life will start reflecting a better experience to me.

Then I better start, you know, really changing. And that's exactly what I did. And so that's the insight from today that I wanted to bring in is exactly that. Just because, you know, so many people are struggling these days with feeling happy about life, feeling excited about life, feeling ambitious, enjoying life, falling in love with life and, and feeling that.

And so, and maybe this isn't an issue for you, or maybe it is. you feel in love with life at a level seven, and you're wanting to take it to a level 10, which I'd strongly recommend. But no matter where you are, I want to invite you to take it up a notch one or two or three or 10, you know, depending upon where you are.

So that's today's insight is just thinking about the things that you love in a person or in life and just starting to fall in love again today. even more. So that's today's quick IQ episode.
