Welcome to Heal Yourself, Change Your Life. My name is Brandy Gillmore. After recovering from my own life-changing injury, it has become my mission to share with others the same discoveries I made that changed my health and my entire life. Our minds are truly incredible — and the placebo is proof of this.
Each week, I’ll take this simple awareness to a whole new level. I’ll even coach live callers to free themselves of physical pain using only their mind. Then I’ll share a combination of practical and spiritual insights that you can use to master your mind, your emotions, and your energy — to help you heal your health, yourself, and your life.
Let’s begin.
Hello, and welcome to this week’s Quick IQ episode, where we talk about insights and questions. Today I want to share a few powerful insights regarding the topic of stepping out on faith.
So often, I hear people say that they’ve “stepped out on faith” toward something in their life — maybe in a relationship, a business, a move, or a financial decision. Sometimes things go beautifully, but other times people feel disappointed or even angry with the universe, God, or the Divine when things don’t work out as they expected.
That’s what we’re unpacking in this episode. Because while stepping out on faith can be a beautiful thing, it’s important to understand how your energy and alignment play a role in the outcome.
If you remember the last episode with Mia — such a beautiful volunteer — she was releasing chronic pain and also dealing with a lot of financial stress. She mentioned that she had “stepped out on faith.” And while that sounds positive, there was also a lot of fear beneath the surface. That fear is what we want to explore today.
Whether you’re stepping out on faith in your finances, relationships, or any area of life, the most important thing is to feel emotionally aligned with what you’re doing. You want to feel strong, confident, and genuinely good about it — not fearful or doubtful underneath.
If you notice that you have a little voice in the back of your mind — a quiet nudge of fear or uncertainty — that’s something you don’t want to ignore. That little feeling is trying to tell you something important. It could be nudging you to get your energy aligned or signaling that there’s an action you need to take.
All the time, I see people who say they’re stepping out on faith but still have fear underneath. When we take a closer look, there’s usually a specific reason for that fear — maybe a practical step they haven’t taken yet, or an energetic alignment they haven’t fully made.
For instance, I recently worked with several people who were feeling anxious about something in their lives. When we unpacked it, we discovered that there was an action step missing. Maybe it was a business decision they were avoiding or a financial detail they hadn’t clarified. Once they took that step, their anxiety lifted dramatically.
That’s why it’s so important to pay attention to those subtle signals. Your inner guidance is always communicating with you — not to discourage you, but to help you align and take the right steps forward.
Faith is powerful, but it’s not passive. Sometimes we need to pair our faith with inspired action. If you sense an inner unease, it could be your intuition telling you to adjust something — either in your mindset or in your practical steps.
Here’s an analogy I often use: Imagine you’re driving toward a brick wall. You feel anxious because, deep down, you know you’re headed in the wrong direction. If you simply sit there trying to “feel peaceful,” that anxiety won’t go away. But if you take action — turn the wheel and head in a new direction — the anxiety eases instantly. That’s how aligned action works. It shifts your energy and moves you back into flow.
So if you find yourself saying, “I’m stepping out on faith,” but something feels off, take a moment to reflect. Ask yourself: Am I fully aligned emotionally? and Is there an action I need to take? These two questions can make a world of difference in what you manifest.
When your mind, emotions, and actions are in full alignment, amazing things happen. I see it all the time. Things start to flow effortlessly. Opportunities open up. Relationships thrive. But it starts with noticing the subtle cues in your energy and addressing them before they become resistance.
So as you move through life — whether it’s a new project, a relationship, or any big leap — don’t just step out on faith blindly. Step out on faith with alignment. Take the time to feel good, confident, and grounded about what you’re doing. That’s when faith turns into real results.
As we wrap up this Quick IQ episode, I want to invite you to take a moment to reflect on your own life. Ask yourself: Is there an area where I need to align my energy or take inspired action?
Sometimes that simple awareness is enough to shift everything. When you feel calm, clear, and empowered — when your faith feels strong — that’s when the universe meets you halfway and things unfold beautifully.
So today, take a deep breath, listen to your intuition, and make sure your faith and energy are moving together in harmony.
As always, I want to encourage you to share this episode. Share it with someone you love, someone you care about, or even someone you don’t know personally. The more happy, healthy, and empowered each person becomes, the better our world is for all of us.
And please, take time today to laugh, enjoy, and celebrate life. Make it an incredible day, and I look forward to connecting with you on the next episode.
