Hello and welcome to today's quick IQ episode where we talk about insights and questions. And today I have a really great question from a listener that honestly, I just, I love this question. And I can also tell you that going through my own awakening and figuring out how energy works and the universe works and healing and manifesting and all of these things.
This was a question that I had on my own journey that left me stumped, if you will, that was just something that over time revealed itself to me. And That said, the question that he asked was that, you know, if something negative comes into your life, then does it mean that it's always connected to some type of pattern?
Like, you know, should I look for childhood patterns if something negative happens? And, again, just a really great question because, again, you know, I literally remember As I was working on healing myself and trying to figure everything out and, you know, trying to fix my life and feeling stuck and frustrated and, you know, wishing for something to happen.
But, you know, nothing was working and the visualization and the meditation and the affirmations and the phantom phase frequency and binaural beats and, you know, I was doing all of the things. And nothing was working and there were negative things that were happening. And there was a, you know, a few things going on in my life that time.
You know, I, one of the things is that it was almost at first, like I was just trying to ignore the negative and just try to manifest the positive, you know, like, okay, let me get a vision. Let me just get a vision. I felt like it was, you know, I needed to meditate and just send healing energy to my body.
And, And visualize white light, and you know, I was doing Reiki, and you know, or getting Reiki done on me. And visualizing, and binaural beats, and you know, I just got good at all of it, and yet it still wasn't working. But, I remember, you know, just trying to only think about what I wanted, and the visualization, and the healing, and all of that.
And, it is important, of course, to both bring in the positive, and shift towards the positive, and also to address what is going on in the negative and make sure to change that. You know, if you think about every single episode where I'm working with a volunteer, that's exactly what we're doing. We're bringing in the positive.
We're also looking at something negative, quote unquote, that is going on, in their lives and we're looking at it and we're not ignoring it. We're creating that shift. We're creating a different way of feeling about it or seeing it and you know creating a transformation and really starting to embody a shift.
in life. And of course, as they do, you know, if you think back to episodes, it's amazing. I mean, people releasing pain in very short periods of time and changing their lives and feeling better and feeling happy and, you know, eyesight shifting and coming back. And I mean, all kinds of things. I mean, this far in there are a lot of different volunteers that are just incredible that have been able to create incredible shifts with their own energy.
So it's beautiful. And That said, when we're looking specifically at the negative, and why is it there, and what is happening, there are typically four primary reasons that something negative will attract into your life. And so I want to kind of unpack that, and that way, if something negative does come up, then you can look at creating that shift.
And we'll say four top reasons, and really we'll say even five ish, but five is, five is like my favorite, so we'll go there. But first and foremost, starting with the most obvious, that yes, that is a pattern. You know, all of the time when things come up, something negative manifests, you know, a lot of times it can be connected to a pattern.
And I said, the most obvious, and yet. So often, it's not obvious, you know, so often when something happens in somebody's life and I say to them, Oh, this is part of a pattern. They go, Oh my God, I didn't even see it. And so, the pattern is both the most obvious answer and simultaneously the least obvious answer.
And so, that said, you know, if something negative does happen, you want to kind of notice and look, Is it a pattern? And make sure to have an open mind. So, that's number one. The second most common thing that I'll see all of the time is if somebody's out of integrity or in punishment mode, you know, doing something that they're doing something that it is.
It's out of integrity or doing something that they're feeling guilty about. Then, all of the time, I'll see them attract it. things that they don't realize are connected. And, you know, for example, I've seen people before who do something that's not so great with some insurance type of claim. And then, you know, two weeks later, their car got stolen.
And they're like, but why did that happen? You know, and it is all related. And so I've seen that before too. So it just kind of depends on what is showing up, but that is. That's the second most common thing that I'll see. Now the third one is typically a form of distraction. And what I mean by that is all of the time, you know, people are wanting to manifest something amazing in their life, whether it's healing or having a wonderful, beautiful relationship or more money or success or whatever that is.
If they're not fully aligned with what it is that they're wanting, maybe they feel like they don't deserve it, or maybe they feel like it's going to be scary, like, you know, getting in the relationship and falling in love is not safe, and it's going to be scary, or something like that, what can happen is that is they can then attract distractions that they feel like they have to take care of.
You know, this problem occurs or that problem occurs or whatever that might be, but all of the time I'll see people who will have that very thing occur. So if you notice something coming up in your life, then you'll want to just notice what is going on. You know, you could ask yourself so far, you know, looking at the ones we've talked about, is it a pattern or Is there guilt or punishment, or are you kind of, you know, out of integrity with something?
And if so, then you want to make sure to shift it. Or are you working on striving for a goal or desire of something that you're wanting? And that's it. Are you not fully aligned? In which case a distraction can come up. So that's one through three. Now number four is More simple in that it can just be energy that you're putting out in the moment Where it doesn't have to be some major pattern Though it could be, but it could also just be something in the moment.
For example, you know, if we make it very simple, we've heard before that, you know, frustration breeds more frustration, where you're feeling really frustrated, annoyed, and it's like one freaking thing happens after another, after another. Or, I've seen it in cases where a person might be speaking poorly about something or someone, you know, like, oh, this job that I have to work on is this, or oh, this person is my husband or wife or significant other or whomever is being like this or blah blah blah blah blah and then what happens is they then attract more and more situations or experiences or whatnot so it's the energy that they're putting out in the moment can of course attract even more and By the way, sometimes that can be a little tricky because, for example, you know, even today I worked with this very thing where I worked with a man who's extremely successful, has a wonderful business that's great for the planet and, you know, just does a lot of amazing, wonderful things.
And he was kind of having a moment and one of his employees had frustrated him and he was speaking not so nicely about this person. And frustrated and whatnot and having a lot of, um, upset about something that, that happened. Which, you know, there's more to it, but just kind of sharing very simply kind of what came from that was then he spoke poorly about the person and it attracted more and more and more people.
And so when I spoke to him, he said, you know, everything messing up is frustrating. What's going on? Which is crazy because his energy has just been leaps and bounds going amazingly well, but he had something come up. So out of alignment and. He had something come up and so anyway, so when we spoke, I said, Oh, well, you know, this is what happened and then this employee and whatnot and, and he could see it all.
So his self awareness was great, but point being is just that it was like one thing fueled another fueled another and energy in the moment. The frustration can of course attract more frustrating things and that was what was happening for him. So that's another thing that you'll want to. make sure to notice that it can be energy in the now.
Now, I mentioned there was four kind of five things. And the fifth thing being my favorite is that there's always a message that you can take from it if you're willing to be present and if you're willing to change. So in other words, even in that scenario where, you know, I mentioned he wasn't fully in alignment and, you know, with the client and things.
to go off, you know, things started going in the wrong direction. Now he could have gotten angry and frustrated and negative and all of that. He could have done that, but instead he was like, okay, he was going down that path and he stopped himself and he was like, Hey, Brandy. Okay. What is it? What's going on with my energy?
Why am I off? And it was a wonderful message for him to change and get in alignment with his bigger, bigger, vision and bigger dream and bigger goal. And so it was a message to ultimately, of course, change. And so my point being from that is that with any negative thing, we always have plenty of options.
You know, we could take the opportunity to get sucked into it and to get upset and angry and frustrated or in fear or in hurt or in upset. And yeah, sometimes that it can pull you in. Or, you know, if you notice things are going off, negative things are happening, instead of getting sucked into it, where it creates more negativity and more negativity, you could stop and notice, what do you need to change?
You know, instead of continuing down that path, what do you need to change? Is it a pattern? Is it a punishment, out of integrity type of thing? Is there a distraction? Is there an energy in the now? Is it a combination? And notice what that is. and be willing to shift that. And by the way, I have a client from many years ago who said it so well, you know, this client was at the airport and basically said, you know, one of the things that I've noticed so clearly in life is that as I've really changed and cleaned up my patterns and aligning with what I'm wanting in life, life isn't full of a bunch of mats.
So to speak. And that's the way this client put it. It was just that, you know, that you kind of have gnats in life, where this client was like, your luggage gets lost, or your car is late, or you know, your business meeting is running late, or you get stuck in customs for this reason, or that reason, or whatnot.
It was kind of this, This feeling of having the quote unquote gnats is the way this particular client described it. And it was just a perfect analogy as to what happens as you continue to clean up your energy. And so that said, if there is some type of negative situation or circumstances that are coming up in your life, you want to make sure to look at it, to understand it, and to genuinely appreciate it.
transform it. And you know, if you think back to every past episode, that's exactly what we're doing. We're, we're looking at what is the problem. We're identifying that and truly transforming that for healing. And of course, you can use the same awareness for life transformation, for looking at what is the problem.
And genuinely creating that shift in your life. And I can tell you all the time, I see people who are doing that exact thing. Who've gone through classes and workshops and, and have been doing that very thing. Like their life just gets easier and more in flow and they're feeling more in love. And they're healing themselves and things feel easier and lighter and happier and more in love with life.
And everything. is possible for all of us. You know, we are truly amazing beings when we are, you know, connected with spirit, God, universe, divine, whatever name you want to call it. And, and just really transforming those patterns and those negative emotions is key. for creating an easeful life. And so on that note, I want to invite you to please do make a point to hit the share button on this episode, share it with somebody you love, somebody you care about, or somebody you don't even know.
You know, the more clearly we can understand how energy works and how manifesting works and how life transformation, all of it works, The better this world will be for all of us, and the more empowered everybody will be. And I remember, as I mentioned, you know, going through my injury, where it all felt very esoteric.
It all felt impossible or, you know, just kind of a lot of wishing and hoping and, and waiting for the universe to do something. And, you know, that's how I really felt. But, when that wasn't working and I started really dialing it in and saying, okay, what do I need to do and change and be? And how do I need to get results?
This is the stuff that came up, you know, about just really getting clarity on what needs to change and addressing it and truly transforming it to then access even more positivity and love and life and happiness. I mean, it just truly transformative. And so of course.
