Hello and welcome to this week's quick IQ episode where we talk about insights and questions. And today we have a really great question from a listener regarding the mind body connection and healing results and how to get real results. And so her email read. Hi, Brandy. I recently found your podcast and I'm loving it.

Your volunteer you had on today reminds me of myself, and she sent this in on Thursday from episode 1 61 with Monica. Now she says she reminds me of myself because she mentioned she had tried many different ways to work with the mind and had not gotten results. I have been on that same journey for over 20 years.

I have also tried Sarno's. As well as Louise Hayes work and many others. I have been meditating for years and I still cannot seem to get results. Can you explain what the difference is and how you are able to help get results so fast? I do believe in the power of the mind to heal, and I have been a longtime follower of Louise.

And I strongly believe that I can get results, but I still have not been able to do so. I recently found your podcast and I just love listening to you work with volunteers. It all makes so much sense, but I'm wondering if you can explain more so I can understand the difference. Is that possible? Thank you.

All right, so this is a really great question, and before we dive into the specific differences, I do wanna take a moment and just say that I absolutely adored Louise Hay. You know, just a beautiful, beautiful being. And even though. I don't 100% align with her teachings. I think she was an absolute pioneer and an incredible, incredible human being.

And of course, you know, with working with the mind and healing and all of that, I have a different approach and it's what I use to help people to get results. It's what I used to help heal myself. But I do have to say, I think Louise Hayes teachings. Have touched so many lives that even though I don't fully resonate with her teaching's a hundred percent, I think again, she's a pioneer and what she brought forth to the world and the awareness of healing and metaphysics and healing with the mind, just incredible.

And actually, in fact, a few years after I heal, I had this message from the universe that I should go see Louise Hay. So it was just this interesting download and I was like, Okay, well I guess I will do that. And I looked up online where she was going to be. And she was in Pasadena, which is right outside of Los Angeles, and this might have been, you know, maybe about 10 years ago, somewhere in there.

And so I registered to go to the event to meet her. And so I went to this event and I had no idea what I was going to do. I just was listening to the message. And so I went, and when I got to this event, you know, Louise Hay was there and she was doing like this book signing in a lobby. I went and, you know, universe said, stand in line.

So I did, I stood in line and then eventually my turn came and I had no idea what I was gonna do, but then Universe said, you know, offer to give her a message for her neck. And she had had neck pain and different things going on and, and all of that. And typically, I'm not intrusive with anybody. You know, I could know that somebody has some type of ailment and I typically never say anything, but just kind of going, Okay, well I'm following universes directions, and she ended up shutting down her entire book signing line and.

Her and I went into a room on the side and sat there and talked, and it turned out, you know, she had been doing all this EFT tapping and a lot of different things trying to get rid of it. And so it was just this interesting exchange and her and I just sat there and we talked, and it must have been probably only about five minutes.

You know, we couldn't spend long because of course she had an entire line that she had put on pause for book signing and. We were in there and I just gave her the information that was going on in her neck and she could see it. And it was just, we were able to do talk and, and it, So it was just a really sweet exchange.

And it, of course, we didn't have, You know, time to work on it and shift it because of the line. But she was just so sweet and lovely and wonderful and just glowing and just a beautiful, beautiful being. And it was funny, by the way, when we came out from the room, you know, I asked Louise if we could actually take a quick picture together and she said yes.

So we did. And then she went back to her book signing and one of her camera people, her name's. Came rushing over to me and, and was like, Is everything okay? And Karen mentioned that she had been part of Louise's team since in nineties and said she'd never seen her ever shut down a book signing line to go talk to somebody and is everything okay?

And it was just an interesting exchange, but, And Karen was just lovely. Just a beautiful, beautiful human being, both of them, but just the amount of. That Louise Hay had it just a precious being, a beautiful pioneer, just a sweetness about her that I just love, and I think that, you know, what she brought to the world was just.

Such a beautiful message. And so I just wanna say that up front and I hope to be able to make, you know, the difference that she has made, but in a different way. You know, she brought about this awareness of the mind body connection of metaphysics and, and was just such a pioneer. And my goal has been just kind of to pick up that baton from her passing and.

Take it to the next level, you know, show people how to get results and that we can get them fast and it doesn't have to take forever, and that we can make a radical shift so that we can all really see the effects and that it becomes a reality in our lives. But point being is that I am gonna point out some of the differences in, in what I do and how I work.

Also to say that I think that Louise Hay helped pave the foundation of mind body healing and metaphysics and everything we know that it is today. So just acknowledging that Louise Hay was just such an incredible being and that we all have different ways of working with the mind. So kind of going into some of the things that I do.

Help make the difference in what I see it is, this is it. I would say that the information that I interpret from what the body is saying is different from the what she may interpret. And so that's part of the reason that, you know, when I'm working with people, I love to show results because then you can kind of.

That, that's what the body is saying. That's what the body is seeing and that's why also every time I'm working with somebody, I always want them to know that so they can see it, you know? So I say, You know, this isn't just Brandy saying this. You can see your body seeing it. So I would say that the information that I get is just a lot.

Different, but this is what I have found works. You know, it's what I have found that works in my own life and healed myself. And also this is how I've worked to help others heal. And so I would say that's the number one thing is just understanding that the emotions that I see and the, the mind body connection is different.

So I would say that's one thing. Now another difference. Or another thing that I do, and not necessarily different or the same, but another thing that I have found that is key is also that there are always multiple ingredients. And what I mean by that is this, is that, let's be honest, there are people who are very stressed, who are not sick.

You know, there are people in the military or officers or people who run large companies who are very, very stress. Who don't have major illnesses. And unfortunately there are also people who suffer from PTSD, who may have a lot of mental trauma, but don't necessarily have a physical ailment or a lot of sickness.

And the way that I see it is like a recipe, if you will. And the example I commonly use is, you know, if somebody wants to make cake and they have flour, They cannot make cake. But if they have flour and they mix it with eggs and butter or vegan eggs, butter, yada, yada, and few other ingredients, then they can make cake.

And if you take those ingredients and you mix them with something completely different, then you have a completely different recipe. And so basically what I see in the mind is there's always multiple ingredient. And it depends on which specific ingredients that you put in or whether it shows up as PTs D, or depression or health issue or a combination of all it.

It just really depends on what the emotional ingredient is. And if you think about it for a moment with every volunteer, what you'll notice is that I never work with anybody on just one emotional pattern. You'll notice. There's always multiple pieces to get them down to zero pain. And so that's what I really call it, is that there's different factors in the mind for self healing.

And when these ingredients, so to speak, come together, that's when there's an issue. And in fact, there's another quote unquote ingredient. That I don't talk about often, or I don't think I've ever actually mentioned on the podcast, and it's this, it's that your self-identity can also be a factor, meaning that sometimes a person who has been sick for a very long time starts to see themselves as somebody who is ill, and what can happen is because it's become part of their identity.

It can continue to show up. So even if they start to get rid of one illness, they then get another one and then they start to resolve that one, and then they have something else or some other ache or pain or ailment or issue because it can keep showing up. Or this can even happen if somebody had a parent who was very sick and they identify as being like that.

In which case they start to see themselves as being somebody who is sick. And so that pattern can continue in their lives. And so point being is that in my work, there are different factors for self healing, if you will, that come up. And so that's what's key to helping people to get results is addressing those factors.

Now, part of the reason that I haven't talked about this factor of the self. The podcast is just because a lot of times when I'm working with somebody, we're working with the very thing that is the, the surface issue. You know, a lot of times there can be childhood patterns, there can be deeper layers going on for most people.

And so of course when I'm working with a volunteer, it might be working with them for half an hour or 20 minutes or an hour in some cases, depending upon who and what we're working on. And so it's not gonna be everything that they've ever needed to heal everything. But what it does is it shows them so they can see the specific links to the ailments.

So there's always, you know, more than we can get to in 20 minutes, or 30 minutes or an hour. But to answer this question specifically is I would say that there are some differences that you will see on the podcast, and those differences are that, you know, that I've found different emotional links. Than what Louise Hay might have felt.

And so that's the difference that you'll see. Just kind of looking at the podcast as well as the difference that you'll see, you know, there being multiple emotional links. For each ailment. So that's another thing that you'll be able to see and observe from the podcast. But also keeping in mind that there are a lot of other differences in how I work with the mind and tools and techniques and different factors to healing that are deeper in the mind.

That don't necessarily come out on the podcast, so you wouldn't necessarily observe those just because, again, during a 20 minute or one hour session, we're only going to get so deep and there can be layers. And my biggest goal in doing this podcast is just to help people to get results. And of course, to.

Tips and uplifting information and insights for every listener. So people can uplift their happiness, their life, their health, their consciousness. And so, you know, just for everybody, you know, to help shift consciousness in our world. So I love that. And just, it's not the depths of everything. And by the way, on that note, if you are wanting the depths of everything, I do have a video set that really breaks.

The depths of transformation and the mind and how to get information from your body and the specific links that are for every different ailment and, and all of that. So I do have an online video course. For that, if that's what you're looking for. Cuz it's hard to go into all of that on a podcast. So there is all of that.

But just very simply put, going back to your initial question, I would say that some of the differences in my work are just the different factors that can affect our health. I would also say that the emotional links for the mind body connection that I have found are d. From what I have seen as far as maybe others find, but this is ultimately what I use to get results and it works, so I stick with it.

And so the two primary takeaways from this episode is number one, think in terms of multiple ingredient. I've always found multiple ingredients. So that's number one. And then number two, I would say create a radical emotional shift so you genuinely feel differently. That is key. And even if you go back and listen to that same episode, episode 1 61, where I was working with the beautiful volunteer Monica.

There were multiple different ingredients that came up, and that of course, is what's key, is when you take them and you radically shift them. That I would say is another key. To getting radical results. And lastly, I always like to make every podcast actionable or uplifting. You know, something you can do or a takeaway from that.

And I would say that one takeaway that you could pull from this episode would be to really genuinely look at your life and notice just one thing. That may feel off to you. Maybe something has been off with your relationship or in life or whatever it is, but be willing to notice something that has been feeling off.

You know, if there's a pattern, if there's wounding, if there's an issue, and be willing to radically feel differently about it. You know, because all too often, People are seeing a problem, but they just try to meditate or avoid it or pretend like it's not there or bury it, and I get it. When we start to look at what is off and radically change the way we feel and create a new way of feeling  in life, that's when we create that radical change.

You know, and knowing that there are multiple ingredients. It could be something that is linked to a health issue, and of course it may not be. It could just. Something in life that is off. But either way, if you do take something that is negative and you radically transform it, then at least your life is better no matter what.

It still uplevels the energy in your life. And so I wanna invite you. To look at something that is off in life. Maybe you felt hurt, maybe you have felt not appreciated. Maybe you have felt unloved. Maybe you have felt frustrated or angry or disconnected, whatever that is, Or fear, you know, just like we talked about on the last episode, and.

Then deciding that you are purposely going to bring in the exact opposite, and this is what I call the 180 shift is exactly opposite of how you were feeling. So if you were feeling not appreciated, then instead you're bringing in a feeling of feeling appreciated. If you're feeling unloved, then you bring in the feeling of feeling loved.

If you were. Fearful. Then instead, you're focusing on bringing in the feeling of safe, whatever that is for you. But instead of avoiding it or ignoring it, or pretending it's not there, deciding, all right, it is time to make that radical shift in your life. So that's what I wanna invite you to do from today's episode.
