Welcome to Heal Yourself. Change Your Life. I’m Brandy Gillmore and what I’m most known for is helping people to create radical transformations and even demonstrating the power of the mind and self-healing under medical equipment so you can see the results and my work has even been published in a medical journal because it’s truly incredible what we are all capable of when we understand our own minds at a deeper level.
So whether you’re new to this work or you’ve been studying the power of the mind for many years. I love that you are here. I love that we’re on this incredible journey together, and I look forward to sharing breakthrough information with you. That said, on this podcast, I’ll share two types of episodes.
First, self-healing episodes, where I share key insights from working with live volunteers. And the second type are where I answer questions from the audience. That said, if you’d like to volunteer or submit a question, come visit me at BrandyGillmore.com. On that note, let’s dive in.
Hello and happy, beautiful day to you. I want to add in a quick but important note to make this podcast very easy to navigate because today’s episode has a special format. Today I worked with a live volunteer. As you probably know, there are a lot of people who are now using AI to modify information online.
For that reason, we have taken an extra step to help protect our beautiful volunteer and the integrity of this work to help keep the information from being modified. And we actually love how this turned out because it provides you with even more information. This is how it works. On today’s episode, you’ll hear an overview of the person that I worked with, and I will provide you with simple but powerful breakthrough insights that helped our volunteer begin making a radical shift.
Then at the end of this short breakthrough episode, if you are ready for a deep dive, you can click in the show notes to gain access to the actual self-healing session where I worked directly with the live volunteer. This enables us to help protect the information online from being modified. While still continuing to provide you with powerful information to help bridge the gap between science and spirituality and personal empowerment, because it’s truly incredible what you are capable of when you learn to understand your mind at a deeper level.
That said, let’s dive into the simple but powerful insights that came from working with today’s volunteer. Here we go.
All right, so today I worked with a beautiful volunteer. Her name is Gabby, and there are so many things that I really just love about today’s episode. First and foremost, the insights, each episode just has its own. Unique twist or awareness that I just love. And today a lot of those insights have to do with emotions regarding money.
Now, what may seem logical is that of course many people have stress about money, and if we know that stress can affect the physical body, then that part seems logical, however. If we start to look at this with more clarity, we can start to see that it is not as logical as many people would think that it is and so that’s where we’re going as we step in with our beautiful volunteer. Gabby. Now in Gabby’s situation, she has been experiencing. Physical pain, and she’s been experiencing a lot of pain in her hip and at times it shoots up even to a level eight, and she’s just really been struggling and she’s been on disability and just struggling with a variety of different things. Now, what I love about this whole episode is first and foremost, her heart. She just is just as sweet, beautiful, beautiful being.
I also really loved her self honesty. As I was working with her, some of the things that came up for her were really surprising to her initially. So I mean that as we were working on identifying which emotions were impacting and connecting, impacting her physical body. When these specific emotions came up regarding money, she was both surprised and also simultaneously not surprised because she had so much fear and stress around money. But so often when people have mixed emotions or deeper emotions, it can be so subconscious that we don’t even realize that they’re there. They can just be so buried in the subconscious mind that people don’t even realize it. And, for me, in my own injury, I didn’t realize what was in my own subconscious mind. And so that was key for her is just watching her. Awareness and her self-honesty was really beautiful.
Now, the reason that I say that it can be very counterintuitive is because of this, is that as we started working together, of course, money came up right away. It was the topic. It was a lot of stress, and it had to do with feelings of scarcity, feeling like there was never enough. Now, as we dove in deeper, we could see that there were also mixed emotions where Gabby felt bad about having money, she felt like if she had more money that she would be taking from other people, she also felt like people wouldn’t love her and that money isn’t safe. And so can you imagine having these mixed emotions where part of you is feeling so much stress regarding money and the other part at a deeper level doesn’t want it because it don’t feel like it’s safe and they don’t feel like it’s spiritual and they don’t feel like it. People will love them, et cetera. And by the way, this can be very, very common where people have mixed emotions at a deeper level regarding money, and then it can affect their health, their happiness, their life, their stress.
Now I know and completely understand that logically. This doesn’t make any sense at all. It doesn’t make logical sense, but it makes emotional sense because we as human beings can have mixed emotions. We can love somebody, and also you can feel resentful or angry towards them, and they can be exactly opposite of what a person wants.
So a person may really, really want love and connection and a relationship, and simultaneously feel like. Relationships aren’t safe, and so they’re stuck. And so often I see these mixed emotions and they can really throw you for a loop. They can keep you stuck or even create problematic situations.
Now, another example you hear me use all the time is that sometimes people can have a sense of pride in hardship. An example is that, maybe you’ve heard this before, where one person might say how bad their day is, like they had a really bad day, and then somebody else says, oh, you think your day was bad, let me tell you about my day. Now. In that moment, what are they doing? They’re winning at having the worst day. So they’re one-upping each other, if you will, on having the worst day, which may seem completely benign. Like it’s not a problem, it’s not that big of a deal, and yet it programs the mind that the win is hardship or somebody might say, I’ve been through this hardship and this hardship and this hardship, and they get it linked up, that there’s a sense of pride for going through hardship. Unfortunately, that can affect somebody’s health and life and happiness and create more of the same. And so I want to unpack this even more when it comes to health, because notice for a moment, obviously if you’re here, you know I was injured, wheelchair walker, cane, I was a mess. Now notice for a moment. I don’t have a feeling of pride in hardship. I’m like, I always say I was a mess. Don’t do it my way. Like, don’t, don’t do that. I don’t have a, a pride in hardship. I don’t go into the depth of my worst part of my journey and tell you how bad it was and all that. Because I don’t want to link that up in my mind.
So instead, I say I was an injury, I was a mess, and the part that I am excited about, the part that I’m quote unquote proud of, if you will, or so happy about, is being able to show results under medical equipment. That to me, and to be able to heal myself, that healing myself, changing my life, showing results under medical equipment.
That’s what lights me up. So my point is, is that these unconscious emotions where a person may feel the same about money, where they might feel like, oh, I hate money, or I’m mad at money, or whatnot, that can light them up, so to speak, but in a negative way, there can be fear or upset or hurt. And so those mixed emotions can affect somebody at a deeper level.
Now, by the way, something else to note is this, is that so often I see people who become more and more and more spiritual and then can link up more negative emotions towards money where they feel like it’s not spiritual. To have money. And so what happens is they end up feeling worse and more stress because consciously, of course, they know that they need money in life and then subconsciously they feel like it’s not spiritual or not good to have money. And so there’s all of this stress and lack and fear of running out. And I know it doesn’t make logical sense because consciously you would just think. Okay, well if they need more money, then they would want, want to link to that.
Like they know people know we need to survive and have money, but it doesn’t work that way. The subconscious mind can actually overpower the conscious mind. The majority of the brain is driven by the subconscious mind, and so somebody can consciously. Want more money, which was very much the case for our beautiful volunteer.
She wanted more money because she was very stressed about her financial situation. And then simultaneously though. Had all of these feelings at a deeper level that it was bad to have money. And so there was all of this stress and guilt and emotions, which in turn were affecting her health, her life, her happiness, her stress levels, all of it and by the way, speaking to that topic for a moment, the topic of money and spirituality. So often people do get that linked up on the spiritual journey. That money is not spiritual, but. I’d invite you to think about it in a different way that money isn’t spiritual or not spiritual. It all depends on how you use it.
The reality of it is, is that money is a form of exchange. So way back in the olden days. People would exchange, a wagon wheel for a bag of corn or wheat or whatever it was, but people would exchange goods and services. Now, the beautiful thing about money is that it enables people to just exchange with more and more people.
So instead of needing to find somebody with a wagon wheel to trade them for some corn or whatever it is, now each person can trade with another person. So I like to think of them as. Thank you papers. When you’re trading to somebody. Thank you. Thank you for my electricity. Thank you for this, that just feeling of appreciating. Really when we look at money, it actually connects people. It allows one person to provide a service to another person in exchange to get food. Or when you stop and look at it, it really ultimately means we’re all doing things for each other in a different way. Somebody is helping me with electricity or internet, and I’m so grateful and I can help others by sharing the discoveries that I made, that I literally spent years and years and years figuring out. To heal myself. And so it’s like we can all help each other in beautiful ways. And so we can look at it in that way that, technically speaking, money is, again, not spiritual or spiritual.
It really depends on how it’s used. If it’s used in ways that aren’t. Good and ethical, then that becomes a problem. But if it’s used in ways that are, then it is spiritual. So it just really depends on how it’s used. But it just speaking to that, because again, even though people consciously might know that they want more money or that they need money to be able to survive and thrive and, and have freedoms in life to be able to enjoy or eat or travel or just enjoy this human experience.
So often it can get linked up at a subconscious level. And even if it’s counterintuitive and the conscious mind knows better, it can still create problems or stress in our lives, which can in turn then also affect our health, et cetera. And that’s exactly what’s going on with Gabby. And by the way. On this topic of getting the mind linked up and miswired at a deeper level, I can tell you that literally all of the time I’ll see people who are on the spiritual or self-help journey, who are creating links in the subconscious mind that are not serving them, that are actually creating more problems or different problems at a deeper level that are keeping them stuck.
For example, many times when people are trying to be positive. They might end up saying something about a negative situation, like they might say, oh, that hardship or that problem was a blessing in disguise, or, oh, that problem turned out to be such a gift. Now that’s the thing. We don’t want to link up problems as a gift, not in any way, and we don’t want to say something is a blessing in disguise.
Instead, what we’d want to say is that. Despite the situation, you were able to really transform and that was the gift. And it may seem like a small distinction, but it’s extremely important. So for example, if I use this in my own life, my injury was not a gift. Most people who have what I had don’t get better.
So that was not in any way, shape, or form a gift. What was a gift? Is that I learned how to heal myself and change my life. That is the gift. So change is the gift transformation, gift. Personal growth is the gift. That’s the gift. And so, again, that might seem like a small distinction, but I have literally seen people who linked up something in the past where they said, oh, that cancer ended up becoming a gift and when I check people’s energy and I’m working with people to heal themselves. If that’s linked up, that it’s linked up to a gift, that’s when I see problems come in, cancer come back, on a subconscious level that that’s, there’s the link there in the subconscious mind, or the body doesn’t want to heal itself because after all, what would it mean?
Well, on a subconscious level, it would mean getting rid of the gift, so to speak. And if it’s got benefits, then the subconscious mind. Wouldn’t let it go. Now, I know this sounds completely counterintuitive, but another way to think about it is like this, we’ve all heard before, if a child doesn’t get positive attention, they’ll do what? Their mind can go for negative attention.
Now, it’s not like children do this on purpose, it’s that the subconscious mind is always trying to find a way to meet its needs. And so what happens is the negativity. Gets linked up to a positive reward. And so with illness or hardship or crisis or problems, you won’t want to link it up to any type of positive link or reward in your mind because that’s when the mind can create patterns of repetition as well and so you would not want to link that up even in a small fraction of the level. It’s not the illness or the injury or the problem that is the gift. If you end up getting a benefit out of it, it’s not the problem. It’s the growth. It’s the transformation. It’s that you stepped up and changed and transformed and that was the gift.
So you are the gift, growth is the gift. Transformation is the gift. Change is the gift. So in other words, somebody may have a serious illness and then. They might change in a way where they say, you know what? I really need to appreciate life, and they start appreciating life and living fully and loving fully.
It wasn’t the illness that was the gift, it was the fact that they changed was the gift because let’s say they did have the illness or the problem, and then they spiraled and were frustrated and upset and angry and depressed. That’s a whole different way. It wouldn’t have been a gift. So it’s not the illness, it’s not the injury.
It’s not the problem. That is never the gift. You won’t want to link anything up to gift in part in whole or in part. You would not want to link anything up to a gift unless you can honestly say, I want that. I want to receive that. I want to get to that. So if you could say change transformation. That’s a gift.
Yeah. Change, transform. Have your life get better and better. That’s a gift. And so my point in just saying this is the awareness that these emotions at a deeper level, these mixed conflicting emotions, they really, really matter. By the way, part of the reason that I emphasize this is because I see people make that mistake all the time and also because I created the gift method and GIFT Mind Body Healing classes. And what is that? That is that mind body healing. Transformation is a gift. The method is a gift. It leads to a gift. So it’s the transformation, it’s the method, it’s the change, it’s the healing. All of that is a gift. I mean, imagine if everybody in the world had healing and transformation and love and happiness and expansion and joy, that would be amazing and so the insight that I want to invite you to think about is just the awareness that these seemingly small emotional patterns or insignificant details are also key for creating the transformation. And what I loved as I was working with our beautiful volunteer, if she could see how. She addressed these inner patterns that she could heal herself and change her life because she could see the mind body connection.
In fact, she was about a level three or four pain out of 10, so about a level three, four, and she was able to release it to pretty much gone, and she did that by addressing these patterns so she could see how these patterns were really ultimately affecting her. At a deeper level that she didn’t realize and there were also, by the way, some other patterns as well, even feelings of jealousy, of others’ success and others’ money. And so there were other money patterns and guilt and they just a, a mix of different. Emotions that came up for her.
And of course, if you’d like to listen to that entire session, you can do so by clicking the link in the show notes and you can listen to that and also, if you’d like, a free training so you can understand even more about mind body healing and how it works. That is also in the show notes as well. And as always. Please do take just a quick moment to hit the share button on this episode. Share it with somebody you love, somebody you care about, or somebody you don’t even know, because the more that every single person in our world feels healthy and happy and loved and loving, the better this world is for all of us.
