Welcome to Heal Yourself. Change Your Life. I’m Brandy Gillmore and what I’m most known for is helping people to create radical transformations and even demonstrating the power of the mind and self-healing under medical equipment so you can see the results and my work has even been published in a medical journal because it’s truly incredible what we are all capable of when we understand our own minds at a deeper level.
So whether you’re new to this work or you’ve been studying the power of the mind for many years. I love that you are here. I love that we’re on this incredible journey together, and I look forward to sharing breakthrough information with you. That said, on this podcast, I’ll share two types of episodes.
First, self-healing episodes, where I share key insights from working with live volunteers. And the second type are where I answer questions from the audience. That said, if you’d like to volunteer or submit a question, come visit me at BrandyGillmore.com. On that note, let’s dive in.
Hello and happy, beautiful day to you. I want to add in a quick but important note to make this podcast very easy to navigate because today’s episode has a special format. Today I worked with a live volunteer. As you probably know, there are a lot of people who are now using AI to modify information online.
For that reason, we have taken an extra step to help protect our beautiful volunteer and the integrity of this work to help keep the information from being modified. And we actually love how this turned out because it provides you with even more information. This is how it works. On today’s episode, you’ll hear an overview of the person that I worked with, and I will provide you with simple but powerful breakthrough insights that helped our volunteer begin making a radical shift.
Then at the end of this short breakthrough episode, if you are ready for a deep dive, you can click in the show notes to gain access to the actual self-healing session where I worked directly with the live volunteer. This enables us to help protect the information online from being modified. While still continuing to provide you with powerful information to help bridge the gap between science and spirituality and personal empowerment, because it’s truly incredible what you are capable of when you learn to understand your mind at a deeper level.
That said, let’s dive into the simple but powerful insights that came from working with today’s volunteer. Here we go.
So often I see people who have been on the healing journey, just working on healing themselves for years and years and years and still haven’t been able to do so. And of course I get it. I was there for many years, so I absolutely understand. It’s not a criticism, it’s just an understanding, I know what that feels like, and for that reason, when we stop and think about it, just always trying to keep it grounded. And if we just look around us, we can actually see it everywhere. We can see it. Stress affects the physical body. We know that. I mean, that’s been proven even back in the 1970s. Research showed that stress affects the physical body, so we know that it’s written, it’s been proven, we can see that. And of course there’s also research that shows that people with multiple personality disorder can have different incurable conditions in one personality and not in another personality, even though they had the same physical body, which of course. Points to the mindsets. We know that stress affects the physical body.
We even know the placebo. I mean, that’s been shown so we can see evidence of it all around. Or even if we look at emotions, we can look at the serious impact, of course, where a person can even be scared to death or die of a broken heart. Unfortunately. And so we know that emotions can affect the human body to the point of death.
So we know that we see it. And yet, even though it’s all around us, I mean, a person can literally be embarrassed with a red face. We see the mind body connection. We see the way it can affect our health, or a person can have anxiety, a panic attack just from an emotion. So we can see that literally all around us and yet. Why on Earth can it feel so hard to get results? And that is actually the very question that our beautiful volunteer. Has been asking herself because she has literally been on the spiritual healing journey for years and years and years. She’s been struggling with cancer, with all kinds of health issues, and she feels like she’s literally been doing everything, meditation, positive thinking, retreats, everything that she can think of, and yet she’s not healing and she’s frustrated and she’s desperate. And, I hear this so often from people, and that’s where we’re going is really understanding. And, by the way, I just, I have to say, I have so much respect for this beautiful, beautiful being. Melissa just has amazing self-awareness, amazing self-honesty, and the things that come up for her really involve a lot of hurt. She’s been through a lot of emotional relationship hurt. That has been a, challenge, and that’s part of where we’re going is exactly that, is looking at some of that relationship hurt and relationship wounding.
Now, if you’ve listened to past episodes, you hear me say all of the time that there are many reasons that healing can feel a bit challenging to be able to get results even though we see the mind body connection all around us. And one of those reasons is because the subconscious mind can be very counterintuitive. And so one of the primary patterns that came up as I was working with Melissa was a feeling of feeling a deep sense of loneliness, of just wanting to connect and feeling disconnected, and also feeling this feeling of that she gave more in relationships than she received, so she felt like she was always giving and showing up more and doing more, and being more thoughtful and not feeling a sense of reciprocity in relationships and because of all of this hurt she was, trying to heal it, trying to do better with it. But there was also this feeling of feeling reactive. But that’s part of the problem, is the reactive, the hurt, the feeling like she’s doing everything and it’s not working. Feeling was just really strong at her core. Now, some of the emotions that came up from that were very counterintuitive, for example.
She had a pattern that said, you are going to miss me when I’m gone. Now, when you stop and think about that for a moment, what does that mean? If somebody has a pattern, a strong feeling on the inside that says, you are going to miss me when I’m gone, what does that mean? Technically it means. They have it linked up in their mind that they’re finally going to be loved and they’re going to be missed and loved if they’re gone.
Now, I know this doesn’t make logical sense, but that’s exactly what gets linked up in the mind. Somebody says, you are going to miss me when I’m gone repeatedly, and they feel that way repeatedly. They literally link their mind up to that very thing, and as they’re gone, they get more love, more connection. It would be similar if somebody said, you are finally going to pay attention to me if I go to New York and they said that over and over for their mind, they feel that. They feel that strongly, you’re finally going to care about me. If I go to New York, you are finally going to pay attention to me if I go to New York. Well, if they feel that strongly enough, they get it linked up in their subconscious mind that if they go to New York, they’re finally going to get the love, the attention, the connection that they’ve always wanted, even though it doesn’t make logical sense and that gets linked up, and that’s the insight that I want to invite you to think about for a moment is so often people get hurt or they feel unloved, and then they end up with spirals in their minds that aren’t helpful and are completely counterintuitive, don’t even make any logical sense, and it creates a problem.
So as I was working with Melissa, who continued to have. Serious illnesses, one after another, after another. It was exactly that feeling. A feeling of feeling like, you’re going to miss me when I’m gone. So it’s like if she was always on the verge of being gone, that’s when she felt like people would show up with love and connection.
Now, by the way, building on this, when you stop and think about it for a moment, we need. Love and connection. It’s not just a want, it’s a need. If you think about an infant who doesn’t get enough love, they can actually die. Or a senior who loses a spouse has a much higher rate of death. And so we need love.
We need connection. Even biochemically, if we look at oxytocin, we need love and connection. It’s good for us, it’s good for the body, but it can get miswired in the mind. In the subconscious mind and people don’t even realize it. In fact, let me give you a very common example that you may be able to see very clearly, and it’s this, imagine for a moment there’s a little 2-year-old who’s walking around and falls and gets an owie, and so they turn to a loving adult and they’re crying and upset and they get, they owie and they turn to a loving adult and a loving adult kisses their owie. Let me kiss your owie or kiss your booboo or owie, or whatever you want to call it. They kiss the owie. What happens in that moment is love can get linked up to owie or illness at a very young age, so it can be in a person’s subconscious mind that they’ve literally linked up owie equals love.
Owie equals nurture. And so it can get linked up at a subconscious level and so a person can go through their lives and not even realize it’s there. Even in Melissa’s case, when you stop and think about it for a moment, our beautiful volunteer would not be here if she really wanted to be sick.
It’s not like she wants this consciously for love and connection, and yet at a deeper level, her subconscious mind feels like it. Needs it, even though it’s extremely counterintuitive. And so you hear me say all of the time, those mixed emotions, the counterintuitive emotions, they don’t make logical sense, and yet they can impact the person’s health, happiness, life, entire life and so the beautiful thing is, is of course, is the more we listen to our bodies and really understand this, the mindset and the counterintuitive mind, the more. You can really rewire your mind to heal yourself and change your life, and that’s what I love. Now, of course, by the way, in working with Melissa, she had several major breakthroughs that, so these are just the ones that I’m wanting to really highlight and focus on and if you’d like to listen to the entire session of working with her, you can do so. The link is in the show notes, and if you’d like, a deeper level of training on mind body healing, there is a. Free training there to provide you with a deeper level of understanding.
