Welcome to Heal Yourself. Change Your Life. I’m Brandy Gillmore and what I’m most known for is helping people to create radical transformations and even demonstrating the power of the mind and self-healing under medical equipment so you can see the results and my work has even been published in a medical journal because it’s truly incredible what we are all capable of when we understand our own minds at a deeper level.
So whether you’re new to this work or you’ve been studying the power of the mind for many years. I love that you are here. I love that we’re on this incredible journey together, and I look forward to sharing breakthrough information with you. That said, on this podcast, I’ll share two types of episodes.
First, self-healing episodes, where I share key insights from working with live volunteers. And the second type are where I answer questions from the audience. That said, if you’d like to volunteer or submit a question, come visit me at BrandyGillmore.com. On that note, let’s dive in.
Hello and happy, beautiful day to you. I want to add in a quick but important note to make this podcast very easy to navigate because today’s episode has a special format. Today I worked with a live volunteer. As you probably know, there are a lot of people who are now using AI to modify information online.
For that reason, we have taken an extra step to help protect our beautiful volunteer and the integrity of this work to help keep the information from being modified. And we actually love how this turned out because it provides you with even more information. This is how it works. On today’s episode, you’ll hear an overview of the person that I worked with, and I will provide you with simple but powerful breakthrough insights that helped our volunteer begin making a radical shift.
Then at the end of this short breakthrough episode, if you are ready for a deep dive, you can click in the show notes to gain access to the actual self-healing session where I worked directly with the live volunteer. This enables us to help protect the information online from being modified. While still continuing to provide you with powerful information to help bridge the gap between science and spirituality and personal empowerment, because it’s truly incredible what you are capable of when you learn to understand your mind at a deeper level.
That said, let’s dive into the simple but powerful insights that came from working with today’s volunteer. Here we go.
All right, so stepping into our special highlight breakthrough episode from the archives. This one is from 2023. Now, I have to say I had a hard time choosing which one I wanted to pick from 2023. There were just so many great, amazing volunteers, amazing episodes, breakthroughs, just really, really beautiful and the reason that I chose this particular one is because of our volunteer. Her name is Jennifer. She’s just so sweet and heartfelt and wonderful, and she’s a police officer, and what I loved about her session is just that she’s so grounded and heartfelt and sweet. What I loved about it is that it also really illustrates the awareness that mind body healing isn’t just woo woo, because sometimes people think exactly that. They’ll think it’s just for people who are quote unquote out there, or woo. And don’t get me wrong, I love the woo. I also, as you can probably tell by now, love science, and the intersection between science and spirituality and personal empowerment.
I love it. And I also really love the insights from this episode. Just really profound. And of course. Our amazing volunteer, Jennifer, she did a fantastic job with her mind, so as I was working with her and showing her how to use her own mind for mind body healing she was able to see radical results in real time.
Now she has been struggling for a long period of time with lower back pain and neck stiffness and just tension that went up the back of her head. And during our session as she worked with her own mind, she was able to take her back pain from a level seven all the way down to a level zero. And it was beautiful because as she worked with her pain, it went from a seven down to a three, and then as she continued to work with her mind, it went to a zero, and the tension that was in the back of her neck was pretty much gone, and she did that using her own mind.
Now, what I want to share with you in this short episode today is I want to share with you some of the insights that came up during her session. And if of course you want to listen to her full session, you can do so. The link is in the show notes where you can actually listen to her as I worked with her to help her get these results.
And there’s also a free training there if you’d like to understand more about the mind body connection. So that is key. But as we go through today’s episode right here, basically I want to just give you some short, quick insights. I know these days so many people are short on time or needing efficiency in their lives. And so that’s what I want to provide you with… a few key insights that I’ve taken from my session in working with her that you may want to apply to your own life as well to improve your healing, your happiness, your transformation in your own life. Now, by the way, keep in mind that some of the things that we’re going to talk about are some emotional patterns, and if you are in the old way of thinking, if you grew up feeling like emotions are not that big of a deal, I get it.
That’s the way I grew up. But if you remember to keep in mind that our emotions can actually influence our energy, our biophotons or cytokines or biochemistry, and that there’s a lot going on at a deeper level when we really look at emotions and the impact that they can have, the invisible impact that they can have, at a deeper level that we just haven’t realized. Or if we even think about the example of emotions where a person can even die of a broken heart or the impact of loneliness. And so again, we can see these effects, but so often because they’re at a subconscious level, they can be the very thing that is impacting your health, your happiness, your life, your future, your relationship, literally every area of your life. And so on that note, diving into the first key insight, it’s this… in her life, she felt a strong feeling of not feeling understood, which creates a feeling of disconnect. Now, i you listen to Jennifer’s episode, you’ll note that she’s also a police officer.
So in her particular situation, she felt a sense of feeling alone, feeling misunderstood, and feel isolated that, people really don’t understand. And of course, we can understand how she might feel that way. And also anybody can feel that way as well in their own life, where they can feel misunderstood for a variety of different reasons, because we all have some type of unique part of us, if you will. And even in my own life from healing myself, how many people really understand what it’s like to be injured for so many years and then heal themselves. Or doing the work that I’m doing now. And of course, I do feel understood.
I do feel connected. So ultimately we can always focus on the very thing that disconnects us from others or we can focus on what connects us and we can feel that bond and connection. So for me personally, I feel extremely connected to people. I feel this sense of connection and comradery that’s really, really sweet.
And so when we stop and think about it for a moment in our lives, we have a choice. Anybody can feel misunderstood and disconnected, but anybody can feel connected and really close. And of course, the more that we feel that sense of connection and community, the more that we can create that in our lives.
And so that is insight number one. Now, the second insight was this, is that as I was working with her, one of the feelings that came up was this emotion of feeling she’s always there for everybody else, which you can understand based on her job. She’s always there as a shoulder for everyone else, but also, in many ways, she didn’t really feel like she got that support. And so often people can feel that very thing in life, even as a mother or as a business owner…there are just so many ways that a person can feel that feeling of feeling like they’re doing everything for people around them, and yet they’re not feeling supported.
And so food for thought in your own life. If that’s what you’re experiencing, I would invite you to look at that and start noticing ways that you can change that. Now, sometimes what can come up for people is they may feel as though it’s bad to get support, like it would be less than or inferior, so that can come up or like they don’t deserve it. Or there can just be an ongoing feeling, even since childhood, a feeling of feeling like nobody’s ever there for me. Unfortunately, what can happen is that pattern can repeat in life. Now, when we stop and think about it for a moment, when we talk about patterns, if we look at psychology, we know that patterns breed more of the same.
And so we can look at this in a technical way where we can think about something like repetition compulsion, or reenactments or attachment theory, or we could call it law of attraction or whatever you want to call it. We know that emotional patterns can repeat and attract more of the same. And an example you hear me use is all of the time is that, unfortunately, a woman with an abusive father may leave him and find the abusive boyfriend, boss, spouse, et cetera.
That pattern can continue and so our patterns can repeat in our lives, both in negative ways, but also in positive ways as well. And so just food for thought as we start to change these patterns, not only can it change your health, it can also change your entire life. And that’s one of the many things that I really love about mind body healing is exactly that, is that as we really identify these specific emotions, not only can it help your body to really start healing itself, it of course can also change your life. Now, I know if you are somebody who is new to mind body healing, this may seem ridiculously simple. And again, please keep in mind that there are other patterns. But if you stop and think about the awareness for a moment that somebody who’s embarrassed their face can turn red, or somebody with anxiety can experience a panic attack, or somebody who’s even nervous can have sweaty palms. We can see the mind body connection at work all of the time. Or even somebody who feels a sense of guilt might feel a deep feeling in their solar plexus, or fear that heavy blah feeling can be there. So we can see the mind body connection at work even in these very common, logical ways.
But the thing of it is, that so often these other emotions that have been going on for a long period of time that are very suppressed, people don’t realize that they too are impacting the mind body connection, and can do so even more than we realize. And in fact, when you stop and think about it for a moment, it’s not just intense emotions because research has even shown that there’s a strong correlation between people who are bored or even lonely as we discussed previously that can also dramatically impact a person’s health. And so it doesn’t have to be some huge upset anger or fear. It can instead be these subtle emotions or suppressed emotions or subconscious emotions that are creating that bigger impact. And so that’s what I love about mind body healing is that when we really start to identify what is off, it can then become a real pivot. We can begin addressing it. And that’s exactly what our beautiful volunteer did today is exactly that…as I was working with her and we started identifying these specific emotions, she was able to see them and she could see the patterns, and she really started to think and feel in a different way.
Which is when she started to create that shift in her health and her pain and her tension in her body. So it was really beautiful. Now, of course, you hear me say all of the time that to get real results, it does take a real change. So she was able to create that shift as we were speaking, but of course, she’ll need to really follow through to establish new neural pathways.
So she really has a new way of thinking and being in her life where she’s really embodying this transformation. So that, of course is key. Now there were other additional insights as well, such as, there was a part of her that was really putting up a wall around her heart. So we talked about other things, but some of the pieces, if you will, were this feeling of feeling misunderstood and always needing to be there for others and not feeling supported herself. And so there were deeper pieces to the puzzle. But these are a few of the key insights. And of course, again, if you’d like to hear the actual live session itself, you can log into the members’ area and you can listen to the full session. Or if you’re somebody who really likes to understand how things work at a deeper level, you could also jump into the free training where I have a foundational training and an advanced training as well to help you to understand mind body healing at an even deeper level and how people are able to get these incredible results because it is truly incredible what we are all capable of.
