Welcome to Heal Yourself, Change Your Life. My name is Brandy Gillmore and after recovering from my own life changing injury, it's become my mission to share with others the same discoveries I made that changed my health and my entire life. Our minds are truly incredible. The placebo is proof of this.
Each week, I will take this simple awareness to a whole new level. I will even coach live callers to free themselves of physical pain using only their mind. And then I'll provide you with a combination of practical and spiritual insights that you can use to master your mind, your emotions, and your energy to help you heal your health, yourself, and your life.
Let's begin.
Hello and welcome. It is so wonderful to connect with you. I just love that you are here continuing to expand your mind, your energy, your consciousness, your healing. I just love it. And you're absolutely going to love today's episode and our volunteer. You're going to love her. She's just, she's a sweetheart.
She's got a lot of hurt going on, but she's, she's so sweet. She's got this beautiful heart and just great self awareness. Great self honesty has been in. Practicing spirituality since she was 19 years old, so pretty much most of her life, and just has great self awareness, and also has been very stuck in her healing journey, trying to heal for a long time.
And you know, I hear this story so often, and what I love is one of the things that you'll notice as we go through the episode, that we work with the mind in a different way than she's used to. And, and so that's what I love is you'll be able to see, as we're going through the episode, as I work with our beautiful volunteer in her session, you'll be able to see that I'm working on taking her mind a different direction than her mind wants to go.
And so you see just the contrast. And that is one of the things that is really helpful. And again, just her heart, And her insight and self awareness. And she's, she's just a really, really beautiful being. And what I also love about today's episode is that it is divine timing. I could not have consciously planned this episode better than how it is naturally just unfolded beautifully.
And the reason for that is this, is that. On the last few IQ episodes, we've been talking about the topic of not going into the negative or sitting with the negative, and the reason that you won't want to do that. And what you'll notice during today's episode is just how much we're I work to actually keep her from going deep into the negative.
And by the way, just a quick note, part of the reason that I work so hard to keep people out of the negative as much as I can, you know, I can't control anybody, but I can do my best to keep them from going into the negative. And I, and I do exactly that. Now, the reason for this is because I've seen people consistently where somebody can go into the negative and the problems.
Increase the pain or inflammation or whatever it is can increase. In fact, if you watched episode 248 with our beautiful volunteer, Shirley, as you may recall on that particular episode, I mentioned something. That as she went into the emotion of it, her pain immediately shot up and of course immediately following that I started taking her mindset and helping her to shift away from that emotion.
And as soon as she did, the pain started decreasing again and went way back down. Now, this is so common that if somebody goes into the negative emotion that their pain or problem increases, I see it so often that I even documented it. In my case studies in the medical journal. And by the way, if you'd actually like to look at that medical journal article, the link is in the show notes.
So you can find the link there and kind of a brief overview of that article in the medical journal is basically what I did is I worked with six volunteers in those case studies and basically I showed them how to use their own mind to release their pain and you could see it under medical equipment.
So as I worked with them, you could literally see the scan turn from red to green as their pain went away. And if you are somebody who is new to my work, then a simple way to describe that is basically that medical equipment, it's medical thermal imaging, and it measures heat from the physical. And a simple way to think of it is, you know, somebody has a sprained ankle or infection or inflammation or tumor or whatnot, they can have heat emitting from the injury.
You know, just like maybe if you've ever had a injury, maybe you've iced it or whatnot, but all types of injury and infection can emit heat from the body. And so basically what this medical thermal imaging does is it detects. heat from illness or pain or problems at a very advanced level. And so in that study, what I do is I work with people and I show them how to use their mind to release their pain.
And in real time, as I do, you can literally see the scan turn from red to green as their pain goes away. And simultaneously, they know that their pain is going away. So they can see it, they can feel it. It's beautiful. Now, cool. What I note in the medical journal, and you can see that in the text of the medical journal, is that during that process, Three of the subjects, while I was working with them, at some point in time brought up some type of negative memory or whatnot.
And when they did, not only did they increase their pain, but simultaneously you could see it on the image in real time where the image suddenly was a lot more red because their pain level went up. And then of course, as I worked with them to help them to decrease those negative emotions simultaneously, you could see that the image went back down from red to green as their pain went away.
And they also felt the relief from that. So my point being is this, is that I've been showing pain relief under medical equipment since 2015. And so almost, um, 10 years now and I have consistently seen over and over and over that this very thing can happen where somebody can go into a negative emotion and immediately their pain can go up and it can stay there unless they start bringing, you know, the emotions back down so it can stay, Very, very sharp.
And so my point is, is that if we know that emotions can affect the physical body and affect the immune system and pain and all kinds of things, you know, if we think about it, emotions can affect us to the point of death. You know, if somebody's scared to death or dies of a broken heart, I mean, emotions can impact the physical body in a major way.
And so for that reason, When I work with people, I am always very cautious to do everything that I can to help them to both look at the specific emotions that they need to address and analyze them and look at them, but not go so deep into the emotion so it doesn't increase their The pain or increase the problem, just like we saw with Shirley on episode 248, where when that emotion did come up, we saw that major trigger and her pain did come up and then of course she was able to bring it back down.
And so one of the many things that is very insightful about today's episode is this, is you'll notice that as I work with the volunteer, I'm wanting to help her to see the pattern, to gain clarity on it, to understand why it's there and what she needs to change and a new perspective. And you'll see that unfold.
And you'll also notice that her mind wants to go back into the pattern. So you'll notice there's several times where I kind of interrupt because her mind wants to go into the story about the pattern, but because part of what she's experiencing, you know, with illness and whatnot has to do with inflammation, I, of course.
Don't want her to go into the emotions and increase the issue. And by the way, this is the reason that I say all of the time when I work with people is don't go into the emotion. Don't lean into the emotion. And I repeat it over and over. You'll see why that is. So just again, just very insightful and let's dive into this session and you'll see what I mean.
So that said, our beautiful volunteer, her name is Brandy. Cohesio, and what a beautiful name and an absolutely beautiful volunteer. That said, let's dive in.
Hello, Coheso? Yes. It is so wonderful to connect with you, beautiful. It is so wonderful to connect with you. Thank you so much. You are absolutely just, you're beautiful. You're, and I love your name, by the way, Coheso. It's, it's, uh, it's beautiful. Thank you. It's beautiful. It means peace, and it was an African name that was given to me when I was in Africa.
Oh. I love that. I love that. Beautiful. And, uh, and what can I help you with today? Yes. So, um, I'm one of those unusual cases, although, truth be told, I haven't listened to every single one of your episodes, and I'm sure you're, Very gifted in what you do, hence that's why I'm here. Um, but I'm, I don't have a specific problem like a tumor or just pain in my back or blah, blah, blah.
So I'll try to sum it up as quickly as I can. I've been not well for at least 27 years. I'm sure it's a combination of genetics. I also know it's absolutely trauma is in there from my childhood. And I know on an unconscious or subconscious level, I am creating everything that is physically going on, but so many, I'm one of those mystery people or mystery cases where you go to doctors your whole life and they run tests.
Uh huh. I'm sorry. So I want to interrupt. Uh, yeah. So I have a Okay. Okay. So, so I want to interrupt and this is the reason why is because notice how you said I'm one of those mystery people, right? So I don't want you to create your identity as that's who you are. So, so, uh, so I want to be careful because if we ingrain too many things towards the negative, we're going to have a harder time getting where we want to go.
Okay? Okay. I got, I got you. I'll try to be more conscious. That's okay. That's perfect. So, so, so, so hear me. So, uh, so you said doctors have run a lot of tests and they, they haven't been able to figure out what's going on or what have they come up with? Well, until within the last few years, all the weird things that have happened to me.
Including losing feeling in my right leg and getting drop foot and being in PT for a year, including being diagnosed with Lyme, including a blood disorder called levitorectal aureus, including Raynaud's, um, including beginning stages of vasculitis. But I was finally diagnosed with something called Mast Cell Activation Syndrome.
Okay. Okay. And I got that diagnosis about three years ago, and I also have histamine intolerance. So, I'm living in an apartment now for nine years, and I moved to Philadelphia from New York City to be near my brother, and I'm sure the trauma of him passing away four years, him being my also has a lot to do with it.
Um, but, When you have mast cell, I don't know how much you know about it. I've worked with people with mast cell. Okay, in a nutshell, I'm allergic to the, between the histamines and the mast cell. Anything can trigger me, from food, to stress, to anxiety, to smelling someone's perfume, to anything, and, and Mold in particular because I've got rashes and skin things and constantly finding welts and rashes all over my body and no one's been able to figure it out.
So I'm getting a test for mold soon and I am, um, getting a SIBO test to see if I have overgrowth, bacterial overgrowth in my belly. I know I have leaky gut and I know I have systematic candida. Okay. So I'm going to ask you to breathe. Okay. So I'm breathe. Okay. And if I ask you currently right now if you're experiencing any physical discomfort, what's, what would you say?
Zero to ten? Well, I have to be truthful. Before getting on this phone call, it took something to, uh, relax my anxiety. So no, I'm not experiencing anything physical. Okay. So I'm going to ask you to breathe. But I, but I do have rashes all over my body. Yeah. Okay. So I'm going to ask you just for a moment, I'm going to ask you to breathe.
Okay. Okay. Give me one second. Give me one second. There's multiple pieces, but I'm just looking at, um, so, um, bingo. So give me one second. All right. So let's go with this, this one first. Okay. So I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe. Okay. And I guess the, the best way to kind of articulate this one is there's a feeling of feeling like, say, being loved is elusive.
Like you're chasing love, but it doesn't show up, or you want to be loved, but then it's gone, or it's this, or I'm never going to be loved, uh, feeling. Are you familiar with that feeling? I'm pausing because I'm holding back my tears. Okay. I had an epiphany a few days ago that one of the reasons, sorry, that I was brought here in this incarnation was to experience love.
Okay, so I'm going to ask you to breathe. Now this is the thing, right? Yeah. Is that, bingo. Imagine for a moment if you're driving down, you're driving to a store that's 20 minutes away, right? Yeah. And every time you start driving, you see a store, you say, Oh, there's a store. And you stop and go in it. And there's a store.
Oh, and you stop and go in it. And there's a store. And you stop and go in it. How long does it take you to get there? Well, if it were supposed to be 20 minutes, I'm gonna, I'm gonna definitely make it a lot longer. It's going to be a lot longer. Yeah. So this is the thing. So the other thing is, is this, is if you keep like, so notice for a moment, so, so first and foremost, you can find the feeling that I said, right?
The feeling of feeling like you're chasing love and love is elusive and it's like, you're not feeling like it's just, it's not there. You're trying to, you can find that feeling, right? Yes. Yes. Zero to ten, how much can you find that? How much can I find it? Yeah, how much can you find that feeling of frustration around that topic and hurt around that topic?
What would you say? Below zero. So, there's no frustration or hurt? No, no, no. I meant, I meant the opposite. I feel, I'm sorry, I didn't realize ten was being the highest. Okay. Yeah, no, I, I feel I'm all alone. I've been all alone on my journey for my whole life and no one would ever want me with all my stuff.
Okay, so I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe. So notice part of the reason I'm interrupting is because if you have all of these stories around of it, you're not going to get the results that you're wanting. Okay. So in other words, I want to give to you as much as I can. And um, and so, so because this is the thing, so notice how you, So in other words, okay, so if so, I love your awareness, okay?
So I love your awareness that you see this pattern the feeling of feeling all alone and nobody is ever going to love you the way You are so notice that right now. This is the thing is I see this pattern starting at age bingo age 6 Okay. You're right on the money. Okay. On the money.
All right. So let's go ahead and pause it just for a quick moment. You know, first and foremost, I love her self awareness. I love her self honesty, just beautiful. And also notice for a moment that, you know, she started to go into the emotion where she said, she's just going to pause for a moment. And she started to go into the story about being loved.
And that's part of her purpose here and whatnot. And notice what I did, I quickly interrupted and then came up with a whole different story that said, if you're driving a car somewhere, so notice what I did is I actually took her out of her emotional mind because I didn't want her to dive deep into that.
And increase the inflammation in the problem. And so I quickly asked her the story about a car driving the analogy and the question about that, because I didn't want her to go into the negative emotion. Now, the reason that I share this is because you'll hear me say time and time again, on these sessions, that as I'm working with people, There's a lot of things that I'm doing with the mind that aren't necessarily obvious.
And it may seem like I'm just having a conversation and talking or giving an analogy, but there's always many things that I'm doing or trying to link the mind to different things or interrupting the way the brain's thinking, or, you know, there's just so many different things that I am doing with the mind that aren't always obvious.
And, you know, I share that because I'll always say also. That I make it look really easy to get results. And I just always want to be transparent. I know that I make it look very easy, but what I really want to illustrate is that we need to work with the mind in a different way, and that's key. And as you'll notice coming up, you know, she talks about being in spirituality, even since she was 19 and working with the mind.
And so. Part of the challenge is also that she has very ingrained ways of thinking and being, and there's a lot of story around it that I need to pull her out of. And the other thing is, is this, is that notice That her pattern started when she was six years old. So what happens when a pattern starts at a young age, it shapes the way we see the world.
And so we don't know any different and it becomes our experience and it's hard to see anything outside of that unless of course we're willing to change. But that's part of the challenge here is that The pattern's been going on for so long, it just feels like reality. And I guess an unfortunate example that I could use to illustrate this would be to say, you know, if you've ever heard somebody say, well, you know, all men are abusive alcoholics, or all men are this, or all women are that, or whatever it is, the stereotype that they think, and you know, that can shape their perception of life.
Now, of course, all men are not abusive alcoholics. There are a lot of wonderful, nice, Men in our world. And yet when somebody has been through a lot of hurt and pain and repeated experiences, they see, they perceive, you know, it just, the pattern continues. And so point being is that even though our beautiful volunteer, she's so evolved and educated and smart.
She just, you can see she's very intelligent and you'll see even more of that coming up. Just a very, very intelligent woman. And yet. Emotions can hijack our consciousness. So we see and perceive in a certain way. So that's part of what we also need to know is that being really smart is one thing, and also subconscious emotions.
It's a whole nother thing. You know, these emotions can impact. Our life, what we attract, what we see, our experience, I mean, all of it. And so of course, when we shift that, that's the gift, that's the beauty. And that's where we create the real change. And so that said, let's go ahead and dive back in with our beautiful volunteer, Kahisha, here we go.
Okay. So bingo. Now, if I ask you, do you know why and what happened at age six? Then I said, yes, I do. And what was that? Well, I, uh, it was my father, um, as a little girl. Out of the two parents, he was the one that was not able to emotionally, uh, show love and, you know, physical touch, and my mother was not him.
And, of course, he got it from his parents. I get all that. Okay, so I'm gonna ask you to breathe. Okay. Okay. So I want you to notice that that's there. So in other words, by the way, so, um, bingo. So I'm going to ask you to breathe. Now notice the pattern for a moment. Think about this. You moved across the country, right?
To go live by your brother, correct? No, just from New York to Philadelphia. Yeah. Either way. But I moved, yeah. You moved a significant distance. Yes. To be by your brother. And after you did, what happened? Four years later, he died of a massive heart attack out of nowhere. So notice for a moment, you've continued to be in this energy of feeling like you're never going to be loved for who you are.
Can you see that? You're never going to be loved the way you are. Like you're, like, in other words, my point is, is if I told you going through life, I show up and the party just ended 10 minutes ago, and then I show up here and, and everybody just left 15 minutes or I show up and by the way, then the next moment, my brother, who's the closest person to me is then gone.
You're right. You're right. Yes, so I'm going to ask you to breathe. And so my point in interrupting you is because when you start to realize you're the power, then that's when you have the ability to change it. If you don't feel like you're the power, if you feel like, Oh, well then this with my brother and then this with my dad and then this with this and this with this.
You never ever take the power. Now, by the way, real quick, I want to notice real quick, I'm wanting to interrupt your stories because I want you to take your power back. And if you say, Oh, it's my brother or it's my dad, or it's this situation or it's that situation, then ultimately you remain powerless.
Like, Oh, there's nothing you can do. But the exciting thing is when you start to see the pattern and you see the pattern and you see the feeling of the pattern, then you become empowered to change it, right? So, so I'm going to ask you to breathe. And, uh, give me one second.
Now I want you to notice for a moment that if you look around the world, only people who are perfect are loved. Is that correct? No, I mean, but you have to be like perfect and flawless before anybody will love you, right? Well, I know that's not really true, but yeah, around the world, I mean, even if you think about a baby, a baby is so loved and so beautifully perfect and also so imperfect, right?
They, they, you know, snotty nose or slobber and drool and what, and they're so beautiful and perfect at the same time. So I'm going to ask you to breathe. But also if you think about a baby. A baby can be very loving and one to, you know, and, and cuddling and sweet and, and, you know, and, and, and so when you stop and think about it for a moment, if I ask you how loving, how loving you are, what would you say?
Extremely. Okay. So I'm going to ask you to breathe.
And if I ask you how angry and upset and pissed off you are, what would you say? Extremely. Now, I'm going to ask you to breathe, okay, and that's the other pattern that I wanted to bring in. So, notice the part of you that can feel explosively upset. Can you see that? Yes. If I ask you 0 to 10, how much you can recognize that feeling of feeling explosively angry and upset?
0 to 10. 10. 10. 10. So I'm going to ask you to breathe.
All right. So let's go ahead and pause it just for a quick moment. You know, something I want to point out is this is, as you can see, her mind is wanting to go back into the negative or into the story. It wants to keep going there. You know, it's kind of like we're playing a little bit of tug of war, tug of war, you know, respectfully, just a beautiful, brilliant, brilliant being.
And she has a beautiful heart and also. You know, just a lot of hurt. Now that's the insight that I want to share is that is that when an emotion is at a level 10, it can be harder to get out of. And one way that I always use to illustrate this is if you think about a woman or any person who walks into a room, if they're really, really, really upset and they're really hurt and they're really upset and you try to reason with them, how does it go?
It typically not so well, you know, if you try to even reason with them, they may start arguing with you and getting upset with you because the emotions, their emotions are just so intense. Now, if that person, of course, calms down and really becomes calm, they're a lot easier to talk to and reason with.
And in that state of mind, it's much easier to talk to. To have progress. So from that, my point is, is this, is this is another reason that you won't want to go deep into the emotion is because the more you can analyze it and stay out of it, the more you can free your mind to get a new perspective, to change.
You know, I always tell people that when you keep your emotions low and you can just analyze it without going into it, that's when you can access more of your genius. You know, that's when your mind is able to be more resourceful. And this doesn't just happen at a conscious level, but even at a subconscious level.
So if you have hurt when you were five or 10 and you have a bunch of hurt stored up towards that specific emotion, if you go into it and the more you go into it, typically the less resourceful that your mind is going to be. Just like that person who walks into the room is really, really, really upset.
Their mind is typically going to be less resourceful. With intense emotions, but the more you calm the emotions down, that's when you access more of your genius. And that's what I call accessing resourceful consciousness is there's that balance between being able to look and observe and understand emotions, and then also not go into them.
So you can get that clarity. So you can find solutions. So you can see in a different way. Now, I know that this is a completely different way of working with the mind that people are used to, you know, that go into the emotion or whatnot, but this is what I have found helps to create that radical shift is that it's like, if you can access more of your genius, more of your intelligence, more, Resourceful consciousness.
That's when you have more power to shift your mind, to rewire your mind, to see with more clarity. And so that is another reason that I don't recommend going deep into the emotions, but instead being able to analyze them, to understand them in a deeper way. And so that's where we're going as we step back in with our beautiful volunteer, Kahisha.
Here we go.
And the problem is, is this, is that imagine, okay, so imagine, you know, thinking about the awareness that everybody has their patterns. They have a pattern, pattern, pattern, pattern of attracting, pattern of attracting. Now imagine if every time somebody has a pattern, then on top of that, they have the pattern.
So maybe somebody has a pattern of feeling unloved, unloved, unloved, unloved. Now imagine they have this pattern of feeling unloved and then because they're not feeling loved, then they feel upset or they feel like a victim or. Rage or anger, what happens? The problem gets worse. They compound it. Now there's more layers of hurt and more layers of upset.
Now, by the way, how easy is it to love somebody who's explosively angry? It's not easy at all. It's not. So now you've made yourself easier or harder to love. Well, in that case, harder. Bingo. And then you end up with then health issues. Does that make you easier to love or harder to love? Pattern. Okay, so notice what happens is we can have one pattern that compounds another piece and another piece and another piece.
Does that make sense? Yeah, absolutely. Okay, so I'm going to ask you to breathe. I love your self awareness, beautiful. I love your self awareness, so I'm going to ask you to breathe. I'm going to ask you to breathe and give me one second. Okay. Now, by the way, so you can see that we're uncovering patterns here, right?
Okay. So, which my goal in interrupting you was exactly that, was to be able to start distilling what it is that we need to go to. So that's, so thank you for letting me, it was with absolute respect to interrupt, but that's the point is, is when I'm sifting through these things, it's, I got to be able to see what I need to see to be able to, to help you gain that clarity.
That makes sense? Thanks. Beautiful. Of course. Of course. And I have no issues at all. You jump in whenever you want. You're beautiful. Thank you. Thank you so much. So here we go. So here we go. So give me one second. Okay. So, um, give me one second. Um, okay. So, bingo. So I need to go back to the anger for a moment.
Okay. Now, if I ask you, do you realistically feel as though you can start changing this?
If I may just interject for a second, I don't really feel anger. I feel anger. I feel more frustration. And, and, and help, and help, and helplessness, hope, hope, hopeless, you know, but, but don't feel anger because anger is not my thing. Okay. Okay. Bingo. Uh. So, so notice the frustration mixed with hopelessness, right?
So I want you to think about, okay, so let's do this. So I want you to think about, okay, so frustration at a level 10, what does that look like on somebody? If they're frustrated at a level 10 or more, what does that look like on somebody? Well, not too good. I mean, you could pick, you can pick up their energy, but it's.
They're certainly not going to walk around with a smile on their face. Now, if I ask you, it doesn't look good. Now, if I ask you on the outside, so let's say somebody is frustrated with another person or frustrated in life at a level 10. If I ask you, so if somebody is around you and they're frustrated at a level 10, if I ask you how much that feels like it might come out on you, what would you say?
So there we go. So if I ask you, But can I, can I just preface that? I feel as if their toxic energy is going to make my delicate, what I'm already going through with. In other words, I don't want to surround myself with toxic people, only like minded and happy people, if that makes sense. So I wouldn't want to be around them.
Okay? Bingo. So I'm going to ask you just for a moment to breathe. Bingo. Bingo. Now, what I want you to notice, notice that feeling that you just said, a feeling like I wouldn't want to be around those people, right? So come with me. Okay. You, you find the feeling of that, right? Okay. So now at age eight, there's a pattern of exactly that.
I don't want to be around those people. People. So there's a strong feeling of feeling like those people are inferior. Okay, and that comes in at age eight. Are you familiar with that feeling? Not really. One second. Inferior, just, okay. That, that.
Give me one second. Bingo. Okay. So there's a feeling of feeling like hurt. It looks like a little girl maybe at school, but feeling like you're hurt and left out and feeling like, I don't want to be around those people anyway. Um, are you familiar with that feeling? Yes. Now, bingo. If I ask you how much you have felt that pattern, kind of like, and by the way, I could use a stereotype.
In this way, and I could say something like this, um, bingo. I could use a stereotype and I could say something like this. I could say something like, um, um, let's say there's a little girl who's feeling left out. She's feeling left out. She's feeling hurt and left out. And an adult comes by and says, they're just jealous.
You're just better than they are anyway. Have you ever heard that before? Yes. So I want you to notice the feelings. So there's a feeling of feeling hurt and there's a feeling, then a feeling like, well, I don't want to connect with them, those people anyway. Um, there's that pattern that started at a young age.
Can you see it? So if I told you that I'm talking to somebody else who has a pattern of feeling, they're feeling hurt and they feel like, well, I don't want to connect with them anyway, or there's a feeling of hurt. I don't want to connect with those anyway. Can you see how there's a part of you that has felt left out of society or groups, if you will, but feeling like you're left out of life and feeling like, well, fine, I don't want to connect with those people anyway.
They're negative. They're the, yes. Okay. Yes, yes. It makes me feel that I'm different and, and And then there's a whole other set of that. Exactly. Okay. So, exactly. And notice, by the way, how much then you love to be different. Can you see that? Yes. Bingo. So that goes back to the very beginning when you mentioned, I'm the mystery person.
So part of you also loving to be different. Also loves the, being the mystery person. And that's the reason that I interrupted is because it is now become part of your identity to be this. So it's, you're in a, in a circle of these emotions of feeling left out and unloved, but then wanting to be left out and unloved so that you can be unique.
And then the health issues make. You then a unique person, but then feeling the hurt from feeling left out and unloved, like you're never going to be loved. So it's, and then feeling the frustration on top of that with, so it's all compounding. Does that make sense? It's all convoluted and yeah, so layered, but I guess also part of the story is I, and I'm sure you're, I know you're going to answer me.
I just want to get healthy. Exactly. So I'm going to ask you, now this is, now this is the thing. Someone asked you to breathe, and obviously, my dear, you would not be here if you didn't want to be here. If you wanted to stay sick, if you wanted to be, you wouldn't be here. You wouldn't be looking for the answer.
100, 100, absolutely. Absolutely. Yes. Absolutely. And by the way, I mean, even if in my own life, you know, here I was working on healing myself and one of the things that I found in my own life was survivor's guilt. So I felt guilty for surviving. So if I would have had a, uh, been feeling good and great and wonderful in life, I would have felt what?
More guilty, like for surviving, for thriving. Yeah. No. Yeah. No. I feel like, so it's, it's. It's. It's complex. It's counterintuitive. But just like the example that you hear me use all the time, that, you know, a cutter may cut themselves and experience a feeling of relief or euphoria or control from cutting themselves.
It doesn't make logical sense. So I'm going to ask you to breathe. So I'm going to ask you to breathe. And this is the problem. And this is what's the challenges is this, is there's a part of your mind who is self Special for feeling separate from everybody and so special. And then not only that, but because there's been all of this hurt and feeling left out that then your mind has said, Oh, well, they're negative.
They're this, they're that. And we'll put all these labels on people that aren't necessarily true. Can you see that? Yes. Can I, can I just share something if, unless you're on a roll, I don't want to interrupt. You can go ahead. Absolutely.
All right. So let's go ahead and actually pause the episode right here just because it is profound and it adds so much clarity. To the process. And so for that reason, I wanted to stop and drop in some really powerful insights. Now, first and foremost, I have to say, I just love this woman. I love her. I get her, I see it, you know, and not only that, but going through my injury, there were times when I was probably just as frustrated as.
She is with her whole health situation. You know, I was, I remember being in a place where I was just like, you know, just universe, just give me an E for effort, will you? Like, I was just so frustrated wanting to heal. Nothing was working and just like begging and pleading and frustrated and going out of my mind, just wanting results.
And I get it. Like I've been there. And so that's the reason that I want to pause that right here is because notice that's where she is. She's in that place where she's like, I just want to heal. And I get it. But what you'll want to notice is this is right now, she's also simultaneously her biggest obstacle, because what you'll notice is that we're literally playing tug of war.
You know, I'm saying, Hey, can you see this pattern from this way? And she says, Hey, let me tell you a story about the past. My past hurt, my past wounding, the past experience. And then I say, well, Hey, can you see things in this way? And you know, and whatnot. And so I'm trying to help her to understand the pattern and also trying very hard to rewire her mind in a way that's helpful for her.
But as you notice, she keeps saying, but can I just interrupt? Can I interrupt? So she's literally interrupting the process. To tell a story about the past. Now here I said, yep, absolutely. Why did I do that? Because I know if I keep interrupting her too many times, what's going to happen? She's just going to get more frustrated and it's not going to help the process.
That could increase the problem. So at this point I'm like, yep, go for it. Absolutely. Right. Because I need to, because if I say nope and I keep going, she would just be more frustrated. Now, why is this important? Because when you stop and think about it, this woman is intelligent, very smart. She's well educated.
She's been on this journey for a long time. Since she was 19 years old, she has been on this journey. She's studied every modality she could possibly think of. And yet, you can see how stuck she is in her pattern. And we're literally playing tug of war. Like, no, come this way. Nope. Come this way. And so, so the thing of it is.
is that the way that I help people get results is I help them to create a radical shift in their mind. And the way that I always illustrate it is I think is to think about multiple personality disorder. You know, if you think about somebody with multiple personality disorder, they can have different illnesses in different personalities.
And it's a radical mindset shift, you know, in one mindset, They have a certain illness and in a different mindset, they have a completely different illness. And in a different mindset, they can have no physical illness at all. And so ultimately, what I'm trying to do is help her to create a radical shift in her mindset.
But the problem is, is that she has a lot of stories in the old mindset. So every time I try to take her forward, She does what? Goes backwards. Now, this is the thing. There would have been a time when I would have done the same darn thing she's doing, and so many people do it. And that's the point, is it's not just her at all.
It's normal. This is pretty much every person. That's the entire reason that I want to share this, is because Is, you know, she spent years and years and years meditating, or even if you think about Shirley, the, uh, the woman on 248, where she went into that negative emotion that suddenly triggered up. You know, she had spent years meditating and doing all kinds of different mind work and exercises and all of the things.
And yet, These triggers, these patterns, these subconscious programming, the, this, the hurt, the emotions, the negative, whatever it is at a subconscious level, if it's still there, then it can keep you from healing yourself. And. If you think about it, even in Shirley's case on episode 248, we saw that pain come right back up despite years of mind work, years of nervous system work, all of those things.
And that is because the key that I've found to getting results is to identify those specific things and then change them. And notice for a moment with Kahisho, you know, I've never met her and I've never met Brandy. Most, almost 99 percent of all of the podcast volunteers I've never met previously. I think there's one or two or three maybe that I've known ahead of time, which I mentioned in that episode, but most of them I've never met before.
And so even with Cahesia, where we come in and the first thing that I do is, you know, start identifying the specific emotions and then we've got to work to start changing them. However, If you notice your mind being stubborn to want to go back into the negative, you'll want to be willing to change that.
Now, I have to say personally, I was never stubborn at all. Just joking. My mind was, and I had to be willing to change that to say, okay, I want to change. I'm willing to change. And so that's the reason that this episode is just so insightful, is you can see how much her mind wants to keep going back into the negative, despite the fact that she's brilliant.
She's intelligent. She's a smart woman. She's been on this journey for years and years and years and years and years, done every mind programming treatment she could possibly find, as she's saying she just wants to heal. And yet there's a lot of stuckness. to the old story. Now, another insight that you can also see from this episode is that there's a feeling of feeling special that is connected and her self image.
So there are multiple pieces in here, what I call the five factors for mind body healing. So there's multiple factors in here. And that is another part of the reason that you really want to make sure to calm The emotions and not go into them is because what you'll find is the more clarity you have around the emotion, the more you can see it, the more you understand why your mind is holding onto it and why it's miswired, et cetera.
So that is always the case. And every single person that I've ever worked with, with healing, there's always some type of miswired mind programming. And so, We're going to dive more into that on the next part of the session next week, but what I really wanted to emphasize from this. is the stuckness about it.
Because, let's be honest, wouldn't it be amazing if every single person learned how to heal themselves? And you hear me say this all the time, but healing with the mind is even written thousands of years ago in the Bible, where it states, a merry heart is is a medicine to the body. Ill thoughts will dry the bones.
And we can see that even here. A merry heart, ill thoughts. We see the emotional connections that are going on at a deeper level. So we can see that and be aware of that. So healing with the mind through metaphysics or, you know, religion, spirituality has been literally written for thinking. thousands of years, and it's my biggest hope that our generation, this time in our world, that we are the ones that we take this and we start using this information to get real radical results.
And so that's the thing, like I didn't invent mind body healing, but what I did do is I figured out a way to get really incredible results and some breakthrough insights and discoveries. on how to do that. And so we're going to go deeper into that on the next part of the session. So on the rest of the session, as I continue working with our volunteer on next week's episode.
But for now, I would want to invite you to look at this and ask yourself, If you are stuck, if you keep going into the old negative emotions and the old pattern and validating it and validating the wounding, et cetera, or if you are genuinely willing to rewire your mind at a deeper level to create that change in your life and to create that real transformation that is needed to be able to get real results, because so often people are on the spiritual journey.
And these deeper emotions, the deeper hurt, the deeper wounding, the deeper mind programming is not really changing. So they're not really getting the results. That they're wanting. And that's what we want to do in a different way. So more on that next week, but I want to ask you on a final note, I want to ask you to please do make a point to hit the share button on this episode, you know, share it with somebody you love, somebody you care about, or somebody you don't even know, because the more that every single person knows and understands how to work with their own mind, and the more that every single person is happy and healthy and loving and loved, The better this world is for all of us.
And so please do make a point to hit the share button and please do make a point to have a most wonderful, beautiful, loving rest of your day. And I look forward to connecting with you on the next episode. We'll see you there.

The goal of these demonstrations is to create a radical shift in our world consciousness by showing everyone what we are all capable of. And of course, each volunteer will really need to follow through to reinforce their programming to maintain their results. But the point is for you to see that you really can create rapid results in your health and your life if you really understand how to use your mind.
You're incredible. And I do want to be clear though, that most people will not get results this fast on their own. I make it look very easy because of the discoveries that I made. You'll want to remember that there's so much more going on in our minds at a deeper level than people realize. That said, if you want to send me any questions or comments, come visit me on my website at BrandyGillmore.com/podcast.
And if you're currently experiencing physical pain and would like to be a volunteer on the show, you can sign up there as well.
