Welcome to Heal Yourself, Change Your Life. My name is Brandy Gillmore. And after recovering from my own life changing injury, it's become my mission to share with others the same discoveries I made that changed my health and my entire life. Minds are truly incredible. The placebo is proof of this. Each week, I will take this simple awareness to a whole new level.

I will even coach live callers to free themselves of physical pain using only their mind. And then I'll provide you with a combination of practical and spiritual insights that you can use to master your mind, your emotions, and your energy. To help you heal your health yourself and your life. Let's begin

Hello and welcome to today's quick IQ episode where we talk about insights and questions and today I want to share with you a very powerful insight that really carries over from last week's podcast episode which has to do with the reward if you will, for doing the right thing. You know, all of the time I'll see people when they're working on their energy and they're working on creating a transformation in their lives.

When they're doing something and it's like they do the right thing, life rewards you in the most beautiful ways. And that's what I really wanted to highlight today because sometimes it can be tricky. And it can seem insignificant or unimportant. And when you stop and think about it for a moment, if we look at last week's episode, you know, I was working with our beautiful volunteer, Peter, and he was in this place where he was stuck with people pleasing, you know, he was afraid to really do what he needed to do.

Towards his employee, you know, he's the manager at a business and as a supervisor. And as he was doing it, you know, he was afraid to do the right thing and take action because he was afraid that his employee or his, you know, his team member wasn't going to be happy with him. And there was fear about not being liked.

And I totally understand what he is going through to, to feel that way, to feel that sense of fear. And then at the same time, what happens is that, you know, he wasn't in great integrity towards his business and the company that he worked for, that marketing agency that he worked for, for that very reason.

And what I love, and just, if you recall from the end of the last episode, what I love is he was offered. a new job after, like he was given a promotion after he made that change. And that's what I want to emphasize is that sometimes it can feel hard to do the right thing, or you can feel feelings of afraid of pleasing others, of not, you know, of ruffling feathers, of people being upset with you.

And I get it. I mean, if you stop and think about it for a moment in my own life, you know, for me personally, I've had a lot of those. Things come up for me where I had to do the right thing, where I was in a place where I had fear, you know, even for this gift that I have, this ability to channel information or check into people's energy and feel what they're feeling.

At first I thought, People are going to think this is crazy that I have this ability to feel energy. And I would have initially, you know, with a background in network engineering and operations. For me, I was a tech head, you know, and, and it didn't make sense initially how My mind could feel what other people feel.

Now, of course, now it makes technical sense too. Now that we know that our bodies are all emitting energy. You know, if you think about wifi, you think about cell phones, you think about energy, it's all information. So now I just call it universal wifi. You know, checking into universal information. And I really, at my core, I believe we all have.

These abilities to tap into and connect with intuition and more and more energy, you know, energy is everywhere. Just like our cell phones have the ability to connect to wifi. We all have these same type of abilities and. The more that we are in great integrity and clearing our minds and really creating transformation, the more we are able to connect with these abilities.

And if you think about it for a moment, even if we look throughout history, major world leaders and very influential people have credited their own success on following their intuition from people like Oprah and talking about her intuition to people like Einstein, who has credited his discoveries on his intuition.

Now, when you stop and think about that, In my own life, the fact that I was afraid to say anything because I was afraid of judgment. Now, of course, again, I mean, I've been doing this for a long time now, so that was well over a decade ago, more than that, but that's how I felt initially, was afraid to say anything.

Or even when it came to Healing, you know, and showing people how to heal themselves. I had a fear of feeling like, okay, well, what if people don't like it? What if people are critical of it? What if people say it's impossible? I faced the fear. And so kind of, I mean, if you've seen my work, if you've looked at it under medical equipment, if you've looked at it, even it published in a medical journal, why did I do those things?

Because. I didn't want the criticism. I said, okay, well, there are going to be people who are going to be skeptical. And I personally would have been skeptical. And so for that reason, what I've done is I've looked at what I was afraid of. And for that reason, I've looked at what I was afraid of. and addressed it in a productive way, meaning that in a different way, I've done the exact same thing as Peter in my life where, you know, in his situation, he was afraid to say something and he also wasn't in good integrity.

With the company that he was working for, if he didn't say something. And so he had to change it. And in my own life, I was in the same place where, you know, in my, you know, I, I know now that integrity is so important that instead of ever not being an integrity, I just looked at a productive way to move forward that would help me.

To face and overcome my fears. And so the insights that I want to invite you to look at today is exactly that in your own life is that sometimes we've all been in that place before, maybe where we have fear that holds us back or, you know, may want to keep us from doing the right thing. And again, I just love that in, you can see in Peter's situation, how as he made the change, he was then given a promotion.

I mean, I couldn't have made that unfold in a better way. It was just beautiful. And I love how the universe brought this topic up so beautifully that we can see that as he changed, the reward was right there. And I would say the same is true in my own life. It's just that the more I've continued to do the right thing, the more that the universe just continues to reward me in a variety of different ways.

And sometimes it is challenging, and you have to navigate it carefully. You know, if you think about other ways that I'm doing this all of the time, you might hear me where, I am pushing somebody a bit to create the change. You know, if you hear me work with people on episodes, sometimes you'll hear me. I sound a bit like a soccer coach, you know, where I don't sound super soft.

And that. I do that for multiple reasons, you know, one, because a lot of times what I'm asking people to do is I'm asking them to be in their strength. And so if I'm asking somebody to be in their strength, to really feel into their strength, and then I'm talking really soft to them and saying, but poor, you know, I'm so sorry for your situation.

Well, that's not very nice because I'm asking them to be in their strength and yet I'm talking to them in a way that's that doesn't help them be in their strength. Or another situation that is very common is you've heard me talk about on past episodes that a person can link up love to illness. And that can happen in a variety of different ways in our culture.

And the example you hear me use all of the time is if you think about a child who falls down and gets an owie and somebody comes by and says, Oh, let me kiss it and make it better. In that moment, that child gets love. Linked up to illness, or I mean, even as an adult, if somebody's sick, a bunch of people may send them flowers or cards or call or whatnot.

And in that moment, they can link up a ton of love to illness, even if they don't want to, it gets linked up. So there are just so many ways in our culture that love gets linked up to illness. So if you think about it for a moment, if I'm talking to somebody about illness. And I'm in a super loving tone and a very, very loving tone.

Then I'm asking them to get rid of the illness while simultaneously fueling the illness because it's connected to love at a subconscious level. And so basically I'm continuing to reinforce That neural pathway, that unconscious programming of love connected to illness. And if I'm continuing to reinforce that connection with somebody, then they're likely not going to heal, or even if they heal from one issue, they're just going to get another and another and another, if it's linked up at a subconscious level to love.

And so my point is, is that knowing this information, that's the reason that a lot of times that I will go into like Soccer coach mode, or it's like, all right, come on, you know, you've got this or push a bit or whatnot, because I need to take a different tone to help them to get the results that they need.

And further, if I was being super loving as I'm talking to them about illness, I would also be not in integrity at all because I know that love can get linked up to illness, so it just wouldn't be nice. It would be like me asking them to get rid of illness. Meanwhile, I can also, would be, you know, in this state of really, really loving, also continue to feel the problem, which would be an integrity issue for me, and it would also not help them to get the results that they want.

Now, point being from this is that this is an area when you look at my life, you know, this is an area that I'm bumping up against all of the time. You know, if you heard me work on past episodes, I might push people a bit and be a a bit like a soccer coach or a softball coach or whatever you want to call it, where I'm saying, all right, let's go.

You know, you got to push. What? And, you know, kind of, you know, eliciting strength in people and, and not putting a bunch of love around illness, but instead strength to move forward, strength to create that change. Now, simultaneously, I have had doctors and practitioners. Tell me specifically, well, you just need to be really soft and gentle and loving and nurturing as a practitioner.

They've said that over and over. I would say if I look at my number one, quote unquote, criticism from people, it's exactly that is that people say, well, you know, you sound more like a soccer coach or softball coach or whatnot. And I know that, but I do it for a reason. And it is because number one, To help people get results.

That it would not be in good integrity for me to know that people get love linked up to illness and then give somebody a bunch of love and nurture and coddle them and create that feeling around it for their illness. Even though. They might be craving it because that's the very thing that happens is that, I mean, let's be honest.

A lot of times what can happen is a person can be sick and they can crave those very things. Crave more cuddling and more nurturing and more love because that's linked up in their subconscious mind. And so just my point is when you stop and think about how often that is something that is present in my life, it is all of the time.

And so Going back to the big picture of today's IQ episode, it has to do with being willing to do the right thing over and over and over and over again. But in doing so it is rewarding and you get good at it and you feel comfortable with it. And so not delving into the people pleasing because even in my own life, if I was doing people pleasing, I would just put a lot of love around illness because let's be honest, Everybody would love that.

Everybody would love that more. Typically speaking, a lot of people who have illnesses would love more love around the illness. A lot of practitioners, doctors, all believe that there should be more love and more nurture around illness. But, in everything that I see, in energy, and what I know, and what I see as far as healing and self healing goes, If I did that, it would not be in good integrity and that could affect my health, my life, my integrity, my gift, all everything.

And I would say that the more that I just stay in great integrity and do the right thing, no matter what, the more universe Rewards me, and it's not just me, it's all of us. You know, when we do the right thing and we follow through and we really have the courage to make changes, even if the situation feels uncomfortable, the rewards that can come from it are really profound.

And again, looking back at last week's episode, congratulations to Peter. He did so great in following through in creating that change that it, you know, it was just beautiful to see that unfold where he felt the stuckness in his career and in his job to creating the change to then getting offered. The promotion, I mean, just a beautiful unfoldment.

And that's the very thing that I want to invite you to look at in your life and not just in the area of business, but this also happens in relationships. I've seen people do things before where maybe they're speaking poorly about others, and then maybe they're even doing it from hurt or from upset or from fear of upsetting other people, but they're speaking poorly.

And then when they create the change. And they say, okay, well, I'm going to stop speaking poorly. Not only do they clear up their health, but they also then manifest more loving relationships. It's rewarding. And so whether it's personal relationships, like a romantic relationship or family relationships or friends or business, whatever that is, money, everything, you know, when we really look at that feeling of doing the right thing and having the courage to do the right thing, it can be very rewarding.

Rewarding. And so that's today's quick IQ episode is I just want to invite you to look at this rewarding area in your life and see if there's an area or an opportunity for you to step into a bigger level of integrity and. Doing the right thing and not necessarily people pleasing, but having the courage to be yourself and love who you are.

And by the way, I do want to say before we wrap up, there's one other key insight that I really want to highlight because sometimes people will hear the topic of people pleasing and they have a tendency to swing the pendulum. In the other direction. And they say, well, I'm not going to do people pleasing.

And they go dramatically the other way. And then they create an issue in integrity there as well. So I just want to note that also very quickly, because sometimes I'll see people who say, well, I'm not going to be a people pleaser. And yet it's something that is not an integrity for them to do, meaning this, meaning that.

You know, in business, let's say that you hire somebody to, uh, do a job for you. Maybe it's clean your car for you or do the, clean your house for you or help you with some type of project or whatnot. But let's say you hire somebody and they think to themselves, well, I don't want to have to people please you.

And they're thinking that towards you. Well, of course. That then puts them not in integrity because you have an agreement to do something. So in other words, sometimes I'll see people who say, well, towards their boss or towards their job or manager or whomever, they might think in their mind towards their boss or whatnot.

Well, I'm not going to do anything to please them. I don't have to do what they said, et cetera, et cetera. And. In some ways they're right. They don't have to do what anybody says, but at the same time, if they've agreed to do that, if that is part of the job that they're being paid to do, then not doing it.

Becomes an integrity issue. So in other words, let's say you pay somebody to wash your car a certain way. And then they decide, well, I'm not just going to please you about it. And they say, well, I'm going to do something completely different. Then of course, they're not an integrity. And so just wanting to emphasize that because sometimes, again, when we talk about the topic of people pleasing, sometimes people will build up the strength and say, I don't want to please anybody anymore.

And, and, and, you know, and go in that direction and that's not in good integrity. And, um, and it not only is it not in good integrity, but that could also backfire. So it's not about creating combativeness or chaos or, uh, negativity or, or not caring what anybody thinks. It's about how can we move through this in a harmonious way where you do make sure though, that you're always working towards doing the right thing.

And from doing the right thing, life can be rewarding in so many ways, Healing yourself, of course. And when you stop and think about it for a moment, it's profound. I mean, I've seen people before make radical shifts in their health and in their life by making sure that they're in great integrity. And so if you really think about Peter's situation and how his change not only enabled him to start decreasing and releasing his pain and creating a shift in his health, but also then rewarded him for doing the right thing.

It's beautiful. It's really beautiful. It's truly heal yourself, change your life. It's just, it's a beautiful embodiment of creating that shift. Now, of course, he still needs to follow through with all of that. So even when you create a change and get that reward very quickly, you know, embodying that That transformation is key and that's what he's had to do is, you know, make sure to continue to embody that change or just like I've done in my own life, continuing to embody that and do the right thing.

And it just, it just is easier and easier and easier and rewarding. And I would say personally in my own life, I don't believe that I would have the gift That I have to feel into people's energy and get information from universe or universal wifi, whatever you want to call it, universe, God, divine energy, mother nature, whatever you want to call it.

I don't believe I would have the level of access to that. that I have without having the level of integrity that I keep. And so just food for thought, an invitation to look at your life and invitation to see if there's an area where you could embrace change. to create a beautiful reward in your own life.

All right, so that's today's quick IQ episode. And as always, I want to ask you to please do take a quick moment to just hit the share button, you know, share it with somebody you love.
