Hello and welcome to this week's quick IQ episode where we talk about insights and questions. And today I wanna share with you a very important insight regarding the topic of burnout. Now, as you may recall, on last week's IQ episode, we talked about the pattern of overwhelm, and we talked about how overwhelmed is actually different from burnout.

Because when you stop and think about it, everything that's going on in our lives is all linked to our subconscious mind in one way or another. Whether it's our emotions, our actions, our behaviors, our energy. You know, there's a reason that every single thing. Manifests now, as we talked about overwhelm, there are key factors that can keep you stuck in a feeling of needing to do, do, [00:02:00] do at a subconscious level that requires you to stay busy and to not catch up, and they can, you know, make it hard to or impossible to even get out of that state of overwhelm.

Now burnout is actually something different. You know, there are, there's a little bit of overlap between, between burnout. And overwhelm. But a lot of the things that happen with burnout are subconscious patterns that can relate to two key things. Now, the first one is typically a feeling. A feeling like there's no way to win.

Like when your subconscious mind can come to a conclusion that says there is just no way to win. I'm like, screwed if I will, if I try it this way and if I try it this way, it's not gonna work. and it equates to a subconscious feeling that there's no way to really go. So what's the point? So that is one, and that can result in feelings of extreme F fatigue [00:03:00] or losing motivation, or not wanting to do things, just feeling tired and exhausted all of the time.

Now this one can be a little tricky. Sometimes there are plenty of ways to win, but let's say for example, somebody feels like if they're doing great, they're gonna be criticized and they feel like if they're not doing great, they're gonna be criticized and the brain starts to feel, it's going to be criticized no matter what direction it goes.

And so on a subconscious. . It's, there's no point. You know, so that could be one way or another thing is if somebody starts to see in life they've been struggling and struggling, struggling for something, And they just lose hope. That's another way to see that. There's just no way to win. Now, that's number one.

Now the second one has to do more so with a feeling, a feeling afraid of what it is that you're wanting or going towards Now. This may seem very counterintuitive, but all the time I've seen people who have been [00:04:00] going towards a specific dream or goal that they want, and maybe it's a relationship, maybe it's money or success.

For example, I've worked with people who have wanted to sell their company, and then on the other side of that, there is extreme fear of not having their business or it failing. retiring and being a nobody or, uh, people who have wanted to be in a relationship and they have extreme fear towards that or towards success and making money.

And then they have this feeling that everybody's going to hate them. And so they feel like if they don't make enough money, they're not good enough or their life isn't gonna be where they want it to be, and their goal is to make more money so they have more abundance in their life. And then they feel like if they do, everybody will criticize them or judge.

And so now there's no way to win, like the very thing that they're needing and wanting, they're wanting to go for, but then if they do, they feel like they're gonna be criticized, [00:05:00] judged, or ostracized, or you know, for whatever reason it's not safe. Now what happens with this side, if there's a lot of fear, is a person can, can get very agitated or easily upset or anxiety or panic, and they don't even know why.

They feel like there's nothing wrong in. But the more they go towards their goals and dreams, the more there's that subconscious fear. It's kind of like, you know, part of your mind wanting to head towards a cliff and somebody going, oh my God, why do I feel all this agitation and fear? And so that's what you'll notice is that with burnout, there are different symptoms such as fatigue, extreme exhaustion, or anxiety, or easily agitated, and it's like this underlying feeling of fear in the nervous.

makes you feel a bit dizzy and disoriented. So it's like your, your mind is blocked, you feel less creative, you feel less motivated, and you can't figure out why. And so that said, the insight from today is if you are [00:06:00] experiencing burnout, notice if you can identify either one of these two key links in your subconscious mind, either a feeling that you.

Um, that you, that there's no way to win. So that's the first one. Or the feeling of feeling like there's an underlying fear. And by the way, as you'll know, you know, integrity is so important with everything. So that's another hidden one also that can be there is if you're going towards your specific goal, and for some reason or another it's out of integrity.

And we talked about that with overwhelm, but that can also be a hidden key. Here as well. And so that said, if you are experiencing burnout, I wanna invite you to notice if you have any of these things going on in your subconscious mind and radically shift them in your life. All right?
