Hello and welcome to this week's quick IQ episode where we talk about insights and questions. And today I have a quick insight for you when it comes to expanding love and connection into the new year. You know, during these times over the holidays, a lot of times what happens with people is either an extreme, you know, either they feel more connected with family.

Friends with loved ones more now than they do the entire year, or on the opposite side. People will feel more alone and more disconnected during these times, and sometimes it's a combination of both, where people will feel more around others and yet inside. They feel more alone and more disconnected than ever.

And so for that [00:02:00] reason, I wanted to just share a couple quick insights of things that you could do that could make a radical shift in your life in this upcoming year. And the first is that if you are somebody who is feeling more loved and more connected than ever, I wanna invite you to make a real plan on how you're going to.

More connected throughout the year, meaning all of the time we'll have good intentions. We'll say, oh, it was so great to get together with family and friends, and it was so wonderful and I'm gonna make a point to do this from now on. And there's good intentions, but there's not really good planning to follow through to make it.

Happen. And so all of the time, of course when the holidays happen, people will say this, oh, we've gotta stay more connected. Oh, we've gotta be in touch more. We've gotta make a point to connect this year, but. Rarely does it happen. And so right now, if you are in [00:03:00] that place where you're feeling that and you're feeling so connected and the warm and fuzzies and all the love and all of that, I wanna invite you to make an actual plan and commitment to yourself of what it is that you are going to do.

And maybe you put it on your calendar. So you make sure that you do follow through. So that's one thing, and I wanna invite you to do that. If that is where you are at now, if you are somebody who is on the other side where you're feeling more lonely and more disconnected, I absolutely get it. You know, one thing that I've seen so common is this, is that people will get on this spiritual journey.

Because they want to heal wounds. They want to heal themselves. And then what happens is they learn, okay, well I've gotta change my thoughts. I've gotta manifest differently, I've gotta change this or that. And what happens is that they become so focused on changing and the spirituality and the inner thoughts [00:04:00] that they forget to really build that connection with.

Through their physical actions and on the inside and further, you know, they'll have this vision of what it is that they're wanting and working on manifesting it and thinking about it, but they start losing the connection and the feeling of connection with people in general. And this is simple. , but also extremely profound.

You know, if you ask a lot of people who are on the spiritual journey, if they feel more connected to people or less connected to people, a lot of times it's less, they'll feel less and less of that people connection, and yet they're also craving that connection and feeling more alone on the inside. And then they'll have the vision of what it is that they do want.

But the problem is, is that they're focused, you know, on the vision and the transformation. , but the feelings of what it is that they're wanting are disappearing. Meaning that, you know, if we take the awareness that [00:05:00] thoughts and emotions help create our lives, what can happen inside the spiritual mindset?

Who's on this spiritual transformational journey? Is that the mind shifts from, you know, being in the present moment or connecting with people to going into a place of feeling like, okay, well I wanna manifest this. I wanna create that. I need to make this change. I wanna feel good enough, I wanna build my confidence, or whatever it is.

And then a lot of the thoughts become self-directed and, okay, well let me fix my thoughts on this and let me feel good enough and let me get rid of this pattern or that pattern, in which case there becomes less connectedness. Towards others. Less of that wonderful feeling of, of really creating that bond and that thoughtfulness of others with a loving feeling.

And further, if we build on that, what can happen is that, When people are thinking of others, [00:06:00] they might notice a pattern. They might say, oh, well so-and-so has this pattern, or so-and-so has that problem. And what happens is people are fault finding or wanting to fix others. And because the mindset then moves into, oh, well, let me fix this person or that person, or let me work on myself and fix.

It moves away from love and bonding and connectedness, and if you notice that your mind has done that, you'll wanna make a point to make a radical shift. You know, personally, I spend time each day and make a point to just melt into the things that I love about other people and just acknowledging greatness in them and taking that in and feeling that.

And I would say that is really an important part. In having positive relationships, having beautiful connections. And so I wanna invite you to just notice if that is something that's happened with your mind, [00:07:00] and if so, Make sure to change it. And of course, for anybody taking in the awareness, you know, that our thoughts and emotions help create our lives.

And so thinking about your life and even seeing people and thinking about people in a really loving, wonderful way, and just loving them and feeling feelings of love, because that's another thing that can come up all of the time. Is, you know, sometimes you can have a really busy life where you're doing this and doing that, and people do love.

But you don't take a moment to stop and really feel it. You know, of course during the holidays you might be around a bunch of people and you feel more loved, and so I wanna invite you, if that is your situation, to make sure to harness those feelings or. If you're, again, somebody who's working on bringing in even more love in your life to purposely cultivate and create those feelings, to start feeling the feeling of [00:08:00] love and taking it in, and also of loving others.

And so I know this is a very mixed quick IQ episode and usually they're focused in one direction or another. However, again, right after the holidays, it is so mixed. Some people feel more lonely than ever. And you know, when we stop and think about it, we've heard.

Most people don't change till they hit rock bottom. And let this be the the painful moment where you say, okay, I'm gonna follow through. I'm really gonna make this change. And by the way, again, I know this sounds simple, but it's also profound from an emotional, energetic standpoint. You know, I've had people in their marriages where I had them sit and really think about everything that they loved about the other person.

Feel the feelings of connection and just love and adoration. Not fault finding, not complaining about them, but really just taking that in and feeling love, and also feeling [00:09:00] loved by the other person on purpose and taking in that feeling. And what happens is, you know, when you go through your relationship or your life and you emanate that feeling of feeling loved and feeling.

your behavior changes. You know, you're just more loving and sweeter. On a day-to-day basis, which of course is pivotal. And so again, while this is simple, it's also profound. And further, right now during these holiday seasons, if you are feeling more love around you, use these feelings and these emotions in this moment.

To lead to something bigger and bringing even more love and connection and joy and happiness into your life because of course, love is so good for us, for our biochemistry, for our happiness, our health, all of it. So that said, I wanna invite you to just take one insight from this episode and see if you can implement it.

Into your life to help you to start making a shift in your energy, to [00:10:00] uplevel your health, your happiness, and your life. And of course, I wanna invite you to please do hit the share button on this episode. You know, share it with somebody you love, somebody you care about. Maybe somebody you just had Christmas or holidays with where you said, look, I'm gonna share this and we're gonna make a point.

To both of us to really make a point to connect even more this year. So maybe that is it, or somebody who, you know, has felt more alone during the holidays than ever, and you share this with them and you say, okay, look, game on now is the time. You know, all change starts from within. And this is a little nudge to begin making that radical change.

So whatever that is for you, and by the way, there is of course another piece that can make you feel alone and disconnected from people as well. And it's a feeling of feeling. Misunderstood, and we will be talking about that even more with our volunteer that's coming up in just a few days because that is the way that she's [00:11:00] feeling in her life.

And so it has even more insights to creating radical change. So that of course, is another piece, and that will be helpful to unpack that even further. All right.
