Welcome to Heal Yourself. Change Your Life. I’m Brandy Gillmore and what I’m most known for is helping people to create radical transformations and even demonstrating the power of the mind and self-healing under medical equipment so you can see the results and. My work has even been published in a medical journal because it’s truly incredible what we are all capable of when we understand our own minds at a deeper level.
So whether you’re new to this work or you’ve been studying the Power of the Mind for many years. I love that you are here. I love that we’re on this incredible journey together, and I look forward to sharing breakthrough information with you. That said, on this podcast, I’ll share two types of episodes.
First, self-healing episodes, where I share key insights from working with live volunteers. And the second type are where I answer questions from the audience. That said, if you’d like to volunteer or submit a question, come visit me at BrandyGillmore.com. On that note, let’s dive in.
Hello and happy, beautiful day to you. I want to add in a quick but important note to make this podcast very easy to navigate because today’s episode has a special format. Today I worked with a live volunteer, and as you probably know. There are a lot of people who are now using AI to modify information online.
For that reason, we have taken an extra step to help protect our beautiful volunteer and the integrity of this work to help keep the information from being modified. And we actually love how this turned out because it provides you with even more information. This is how it works. On today’s episode, you’ll hear an overview of the person that I worked with, and I will provide you with simple but powerful breakthrough insights that helped our volunteer begin making a radical shift.
Then at the end of this short breakthrough episode, if you are ready for a deep dive. You can click in the show notes to gain access to the actual self-healing session where I worked directly with the live volunteer. This enables us to help protect the information online from being modified while still continuing to provide you with powerful information to help bridge the gap between science and spirituality and personal empowerment because it’s truly incredible.
What you are capable of when you learn to understand your mind at a deeper level. That said, let’s dive into the simple but powerful insights that came from working with today’s volunteer. Here we go.
If you’ve ever been stuck in a place of anxiety or depression and felt like you couldn’t shift out of it, then you understand what a volunteer today is going through because she’s been in a place where she’s been struggling with anxiety, and yet no matter what she was doing. She couldn’t get rid of it.
And I’ve seen that so often, and that’s one of the things that I actually really love about today’s episode is just watching her create a radical shift. And, and not only that, but as she shifted her mindset and shifted her emotions. Watching her come alive in it. Just this feeling as, as I was working with her, as we were wrapping up the session, she said she just feels like she can be her again and just kind of step into her strength, and so I love that as well.
Now I want to share with you a key insight of the reason it can feel so hard to get out of these emotions and to create that shift because it’s so counterintuitive now. To give you a little bit of backstory regarding our volunteer today, her name is Lynn, and she had had this ongoing feeling of feeling, you know, just kind of shoved aside, if you will, unseen, not loved.
And part of where it stemmed from was as a child, she experienced this where she was, as a young child, eight years old, that her parents suddenly adopted four boys, which created of, of course. A huge shift in her house, in her home life, you know, to go from feeling seen to suddenly feeling unseen, unheard, and kind of lost in the mix.
Now, what unfortunately happened is that this pattern of feeling unloved and also feeling sorry for self. Had ended up showing up and repeating throughout her life in a variety of different ways. Now, this is what happens is this, is that, you know, of course patterns repeat themselves and patterns can continue on and, and so often people will get stuck in these patterns and it can feel impossible to get out of.
Now, on a counterintuitive note, when it comes to the anxiety picture this, you know, imagine somebody who feels sorry for self. And, and by the way, that’s, it’s not a judgment. During my injury, I felt sorry for myself for a time, and then I realized I had to get out of it. So, you know, I have so much compassion for where she’s at, and it’s been this thread, this pattern that, you know, was woven throughout her life.
So, you know, my point being is, is again, imagine somebody who does feel sorry for self or somebody has a deeper level of feeling victim now. If that’s how a person feels or that’s the identity that a person has of feeling like a victim, what can happen is, of course, patterns breed more of the same. They can feel like more bad things are going to happen.
They can feel like that, that feeling of like, okay, what’s next? What’s next? And from that energy, from that mindset, that feeling like what’s the next thing? Can create those feelings of anxiety. And so often I’ve seen people who felt like a victim for one reason or another in life for a variety of different things that, because that becomes part of their identity, like who they are at a subconscious level, they just feel like, ugh, everything always happens, everything bad.
And that pattern can continue. And because of that pattern continuing, because of that negative, deeper level of feeling in the subconscious mind, anxiety can perpetuate. And so that’s the insight that I wanted to share with you is exactly that, is that, you know, so often these patterns can be very counterintuitive and in fact, patterns I’ve seen are this, even if you think about somebody.
Who I PE where people have felt like this, where they’ve felt a feeling that they’re never going to be loved. And what can happen is this, is that we need love and connection. So if somebody says they’re never going to be loved, this too can create feelings of anxiety. And a way to think about it is like this, is that imagine somebody who says they’re never going to have oxygen or water.
There can be an anxiousness at a deeper level to never have water, to never have food, to never to not be able to breathe. Those things can create an an anxious feeling. The same is true with feeling like somebody’s never going to be loved is it can create an anxious feeling like, oh, I’m never going to feel loved that feeling, and so.
If you think about it for a moment, again, very counterintuitive, but all of the time I’ve seen people who have been stuck in years of anxiety, years of depression. And what we do is we just identify what that specific thing is, well, like what is going on in the mind, and then change it. And it’s pivotal.
You know, and as I mentioned with our beautiful volunteer, literally as we were talking about, you know, her growing up with this, you know, these four boys being adopted, but just this feeling of feeling unloved and unseen or pushed aside to then instead creating that shift of feeling more seen, feeling loved, feeling connected, not feeling sorry for herself, but feeling great about self, the way that her mindset shifted.
Was beautiful and her anxiety that she hadn’t been able to shake just released, and she did it. She did a beautiful job. And so that’s the insight that I want to share with you is that if you all, if you have been stuck in depression or stress or negativity or anxiety or whatever it is, the more you understand your own mind and can just identify the key and shift it.
It’s pivotal. You know, when you, when you really think about it for a moment, people understand cell phones. You know, so many people know how to use a cell phone or know how to use a computer, and yet so few people know how to use their own mind. That creates happiness, health, healing life, future love, connectedness, like all of all of it.
And so of course, the more you understand your own mind, the more it becomes pivotal. Life changing. And, and that’s what again, what I love now, of course, even as I watched her and just the way she opened up to Exci, to just more love and sweetness to herself and to life was pivotal. And that, of course is my hope for everybody.
Now as she did this, it’s going to take following through to really get it wired in the mind to get it staying, uh, which takes some follow through, but. It’s pivotal. And so that’s the insight that I want to share. And by the way, if you do want to listen to that specific episode, um, that specific session where I worked with her, you can just click the link in the show notes and you can listen in on that session where I worked directly with her.
So, uh, there’s that available by the way. If you are somebody who would like a deeper understanding of mind body healing, there’s also a free training in the show notes as well. And as always, I want to ask you, please do take just a quick moment to hit the share button on this episode. You know, share it with somebody you love.
Somebody you care about or somebody you don’t even know. Because the more that every single person in our world feels healthy and happy, and loved and loving and knows how to really work with their own mind, truly, the better this world is for all of us. And so please do take a moment to hit the share button and please do have a fantastic rest of your day.
I look forward to connecting with you on the next episode. We’ll see you there.
