Welcome to Heal Yourself. Change Your Life. I’m Brandy Gillmore and what I’m most known for is helping people to create radical transformations and even demonstrating the power of the mind and self-healing under medical equipment so you can see the results and my work has even been published in a medical journal because it’s truly incredible what we are all capable of when we understand our own minds at a deeper level.
So whether you’re new to this work or you’ve been studying the power of the mind for many years. I love that you are here. I love that we’re on this incredible journey together, and I look forward to sharing breakthrough information with you. That said, on this podcast, I’ll share two types of episodes.
First, self-healing episodes, where I share key insights from working with live volunteers. And the second type are where I answer questions from the audience. That said, if you’d like to volunteer or submit a question, come visit me at BrandyGillmore.com. On that note, let’s dive in.
Hello and happy, beautiful day to you. I want to add in a quick but important note to make this podcast very easy to navigate because today’s episode has a special format. Today I worked with a live volunteer. As you probably know, there are a lot of people who are now using AI to modify information online.
For that reason, we have taken an extra step to help protect our beautiful volunteer and the integrity of this work to help keep the information from being modified. And we actually love how this turned out because it provides you with even more information. This is how it works. On today’s episode, you’ll hear an overview of the person that I worked with, and I will provide you with simple but powerful breakthrough insights that helped our volunteer begin making a radical shift.
Then at the end of this short breakthrough episode, if you are ready for a deep dive, you can click in the show notes to gain access to the actual self-healing session where I worked directly with the live volunteer. This enables us to help protect the information online from being modified. While still continuing to provide you with powerful information to help bridge the gap between science and spirituality and personal empowerment, because it’s truly incredible what you are capable of when you learn to understand your mind at a deeper level.
That said, let’s dive into the simple but powerful insights that came from working with today’s volunteer. Here we go.
All right, so diving in to today’s session today, I worked with a beautiful volunteer. Her name is Anna, and she’s just brilliant and lovely and wonderful and really just an amazing being, and yet she is so. Critical of herself in every area and just really, really hard on herself. And what you’ll notice as we dive in to today’s episode is you’ll notice also that some of the insights from this are very counterintuitive, and that’s what I also really love about each episode is so often each episode can highlight something that keeps people stuck that they don’t realize that they’re doing themselves. And of course, I’ve mentioned self-criticism so far, and yes, that can absolutely keep people stuck, but there’s so much more to it. And so that’s where we’re going on today’s episode. Now, to give you a bit of backstory, Anna is an incredible being.
She is a new mother. She has a beautiful heart, and she’s also simultaneously. Experiencing severe pain. So pain at about a level nine out of 10. She has an autoimmune condition and multiple conditions, but including rheumatoid arthritis where she’s just feeling a lot of pain and struggling to just get by every day.
Now, as I began working with her. Her pain started coming down, so she was able to get her pain from a level nine to about a level six, and of course she was doing that, but then the pain started wanting to move into different areas and so I paused it. Now, taking just a quick moment. I have worked with many of people with RA who have been able to heal themselves, who have even taken their rheumatoid factor, which was, high levels in the eighties, nineties, and have been able to get it down under 10 and their doctors are just amazed, and people who were able to go from, being so swollen and in so much pain that they couldn’t get out of bed or make it down the stairs in their house to then being back to working out, walking around, no pain. Everything’s normalized. Their doctors are shocked, and of course they did it.
I just showed them how to use their own mind to heal their own body and everybody around them is just absolutely amazed, including their doctors. And so it’s beautiful. What. We are capable of. And of course you’ll hear me say time and time again. It does take real change. And it’s not just conscious change, it is subconscious change that is deeper in the mind and can be extremely counterintuitive and that is the case for our beautiful volunteer. Anna is just that she has a lot of that counterintuitive mind programming that has really stuck now in her case. Sometimes you’ll hear me where I’ll work with a volunteer and I might push them a bit to, to change, to see things in a new way, to create a transformation.
However, in Anna’s case, there was a feeling of not feeling safe. To heal all of the way, which is why the pain started moving around. And so I went ahead and paused it, our session so she could actually take time to really digest and slow things down and to create a real change. Because also keeping in mind that she’s a new mother and so, I did not want to overwhelm her with anything either, and so keeping that in mind and having absolute compassion for her situation, I just wanted to give her time to be able to process the information because how the mind works can be. Extremely counterintuitive. And so that’s the part I want to unpack for a moment, because I know this sounds completely counterintuitive for a lot of people, and so let’s break this down even more with some key insights.
Now, before we go to the key insights, I just want to remind you that the mind can be so counterintuitive that it does not make logical sense and a simple way to really illustrate this is the unfortunate example. Where a cutter may cut themselves and feel a sense of relief or euphoria or control or safety from cutting themselves.
Now that doesn’t make logical sense. And further, if you think about it, if you ask the average person to cut themselves, they would find it nearly impossible to do because we’re not wired that way. We don’t want to cut ourselves. That seems unsafe. Now the same can be true with healing. It can feel unsafe to do.
Now let me share one more example to illustrate this before we dive into the other insights, and it’s this, it’s that in my book I share an example of a young man. Named Johnny who went to school and he felt like he was being teased or bullied a bit and not beat up, but really just uncomfortable and teased around other kids and he just felt like there were bullies, so to speak, emotional and, it stressed him out and he would get a stomach ache. And then when he got a stomach ache, he would then need to go home. So then he would come home and he would feel safe and protected and then. He would get better and he would go back to school where again, he felt picked on, and then he would get a upset stomach, and then he would get sent home. And then again, he would come home and he would feel loved and nurtured and taken care of, and safe and protected. And this happened several times where he’d go to school, he’d get his stomach ache, he’d come home, he’d feel taken care of and nurtured and safe and so after that happened, several times his body started to link up that it was safer. To stay sick because that’s where he gets love and attention and safety, was by staying home. And that if he was going to get better, he would need to go to school where he could get picked on. And so that got linked up, not because he consciously linked it up, but because it happened, then it got linked up in his subconscious mind.
So he didn’t feel safe to heal. Because then he would need to go back to school. Now, the same thing is true with our beautiful volunteer. What happened is she started getting it linked up in her nervous system, that if she was healthy, she needed to go back to work, and that she was afraid of the criticism and she felt extremely criticized and of course, part of the issue was the fact that she was so hard on herself and she was constantly criticizing herself. But if she was sick, then she would give herself love and nurture and self care, and it felt like it was keeping her safe. And so even though it doesn’t make logical sense, that can get linked up.
Now, this is the thing is that if Anna didn’t want to heal. She wouldn’t be here. I mean, she wouldn’t be working with me. She wouldn’t be looking outside of the box for answers. She would’ve never found me because obviously her conscious mind wants to heal and get out of pain and have a great life. But her subconscious mind doesn’t feel as though it is safe to do so. Now again, I just want to emphasize, I know this is completely counterintuitive and it’s opposite of the way people think the mind works, but. The reason that I’ve been able to get results and even demonstrate them under medical equipment, but even show people getting results for the last 15 years where I show people releasing their own pain even under medical equipment, the reason is because the discoveries that I made of working with the mind in a different way and really understanding the counterintuitive mind and what’s going on at a deeper level, and being willing to look at things. In a different way. And by the way, that’s one of the things that really helped me to even understand my own situation.
So you’ve heard me talk about survivor’s guilt with my own injury. Now how counterintuitive is that? If you think about my injury back in 2003 and I had an accident, you know my story likely if you’re here, but I had a physical accident. A physical injury, and I never would’ve thought that my own subconscious mind didn’t want me to heal because of survivor’s guilt, so I would’ve felt guilty for having a full life and living fully and doing things for myself, et cetera, which doesn’t make any sense at all, especially because. Obviously I wanted to heal. I spent years and years and years doing all of the things, the positive thinking, the mind programming, the meditations, the affirmations, the chanting, the deep mind programming, binaural beats, Delta, theta, et cetera, et cetera.
I mean, I was literally listening to every recorded meditation or positive thinking, anything that I could find. And yet it wasn’t working. So I started to really look at the mind in a completely counterintuitive way and just spent years and years and years researching and looking at neuroscience and then thinking of it from all different points of view and trying things and I mean, it was this whole really extended deep dive experience. And one of the keys was to start doing things. In a counterintuitive way, but doing things in the opposite way that people might have thought to do them. And that’s what helped lead to a lot of breakthroughs in my research was exactly that and of course, then that enabled me to not only heal myself, but then start showing others how to get results under medical equipment. And the first time I was able to show results under medical equipment in just minutes was back in 2015. And by the way, if you haven’t seen my work that was published in the medical journal, you can access that from the show notes and so just really wanting to emphasize, I understand that it sounds completely counterintuitive and yet.
That’s how the subconscious mind works. Even on another note, if we think about things just in general where a person can have mixed emotions, a person may love somebody but also feel resentful or a person may really, really want a relationship in life, and yet they feel terrified of men. Or a person may really want success in life, and yet they feel if they’re successful, everybody will be jealous or everybody will hate them. And so what happens is these mixed emotions can keep a person stuck and so those are the insights from this episode. Now, of course, if you want to listen to the entire session, you can do so by clicking the link.
