Welcome to Heal Yourself. Change Your Life. I’m Brandy Gillmore and what I’m most known for is helping people to create radical transformations and even demonstrating the power of the mind and self-healing under medical equipment so you can see the results and my work has even been published in a medical journal because it’s truly incredible what we are all capable of when we understand our own minds at a deeper level.
So whether you’re new to this work or you’ve been studying the power of the mind for many years. I love that you are here. I love that we’re on this incredible journey together, and I look forward to sharing breakthrough information with you. That said, on this podcast, I’ll share two types of episodes.
First, self-healing episodes, where I share key insights from working with live volunteers. And the second type are where I answer questions from the audience. That said, if you’d like to volunteer or submit a question, come visit me at BrandyGillmore.com. On that note, let’s dive in.
Hello and happy, beautiful day to you. I want to add in a quick but important note to make this podcast very easy to navigate because today’s episode has a special format. Today I worked with a live volunteer. As you probably know, there are a lot of people who are now using AI to modify information online.
For that reason, we have taken an extra step to help protect our beautiful volunteer and the integrity of this work to help keep the information from being modified. And we actually love how this turned out because it provides you with even more information. This is how it works. On today’s episode, you’ll hear an overview of the person that I worked with, and I will provide you with simple but powerful breakthrough insights that helped our volunteer begin making a radical shift.
Then at the end of this short breakthrough episode, if you are ready for a deep dive, you can click in the show notes to gain access to the actual self-healing session where I worked directly with the live volunteer. This enables us to help protect the information online from being modified. While still continuing to provide you with powerful information to help bridge the gap between science and spirituality and personal empowerment, because it’s truly incredible what you are capable of when you learn to understand your mind at a deeper level.
That said, let’s dive into the simple but powerful insights that came from working with today’s volunteer. Here we go.
All right, so I just have to say first and foremost, I love so many things about today’s episode. Just our beautiful volunteer. I love her self-awareness. I love her drive, and I really love the insights that come up because they’re just so counterintuitive, and this is the very thing that can keep people stuck and keep them from getting the results that they want. And that is so true with our beautiful volunteer today. Her name is Dee, and she has been on the self-help, self-healing journey for many, many years, really working to try to create a shift and heal herself, and heal her life. And yet she’s still stuck and she’s been experiencing physical pain in her back and neck, which started out at about a level six in her upper back.
And the beautiful thing is, that as we went through today’s session, she was able to get it gone and get it down to just a little tinge of a feeling or a pulse, if you will. So she was able to do that. So she did fantastic with her energy and her mindset, and it’s just incredible what we are all capable of.
Now, by the way, on that note, if you are somebody who is new, it may sound impossible to work with a person and have them be able to release their pain so fast. And so if you are new, you may want to check out my work in the medical journal, which shows images of before and after where somebody is working with their mind and you can see it under medical equipment where they’re able to release their pain and you can see it on the image. So just food for thought that link is in the show notes. And I just want to speak to that because I know going through my injury, if somebody had told me that we could release pain with our mind in minutes, I would’ve thought this is impossible.
And by the way, not only would I have thought that it was impossible, I would have done anything during my injury to just get out of pain. It was so intense for so, so many years, and I know that so many people are in that same situation. Let’s be honest, if we look at statistics, there are about 1.8 billion people who live with some type of chronic pain.
And so when I saw that number during my injury, I thought, wait a second here, if these people are not able to heal themselves, how am I ever going to heal my situation? So initially when I started trying to heal myself and looking for doctors and answers and whatnot, I felt like it wasn’t going to be possible.
Now, of course, the more I started seeing and understanding the power of the mind in a whole new way, it, opened up everything. Thank God it is a complete transformation, but there was a point when I thought there’s nothing and I don’t know how I’m going to live in so much pain. So just food for thought.
And so on that note, let’s dive in from the insights from today’s session with our beautiful volunteer Dee because these insights are very counterintuitive, and so that’s where we’re going. Now, first and foremost, as I started working with Dee, I just have to say I, I love her energy. She’s just a sweetheart.
She’s aware, she’s been on the healing journey for many, many years. She’s doing the work and she’s trying to get results, and yet she’s still stuck. Those are some of the insights is one, that she has been working on things and yet what happens is if we still feel a sense of negativity, then ultimately what happens is that feeling is still there, even if we suppress it.
And so often I see people doing that very thing where they think they’re working on something and they feel like they’re working on, they feel like they’ve done a ton of work on something, and yet it keeps coming back and keeps coming back, or it’s not gone. Why does that happen? Ultimately it’s because something at a deeper level in the subconscious mind is holding onto it.
And a simple way to think about it is like this. Imagine if you were going to get rid of an old shirt or an old piece of clothing out of your closet, and so your right hand goes to throw it away, but your left hand is holding onto it. If you stop and think about it for a moment, that could create a major struggle where one hand is trying to get rid of it, the other hand is trying to hold onto it.
That’s what it looks like for most people when they’re working on releasing, is that they don’t realize that deeper, deeper, deeper in the subconscious mind, there’s something that’s holding onto it, and that when we really reprogram the mind at a deeper, deeper level, that is when the transformation really takes place.
And so that was a key insight from this episode in working with Dee. Now, as we went further into our session, one of the things that was keeping her stuck is that she had this pattern of self-sacrifice. Now, the problem with the pattern of self-sacrifice is that you always have to be in some place of sacrificing.
So there’s some type of problem or loss or just this feeling of sacrifice. And after a while it doesn’t feel good. Now of course, doing things for others or with others can feel great when it’s from a place of love and connection. So this feeling of, doing things for others and enjoying or doing things for others and feeling good about it. But.
If a person is feeling that they always need to sacrifice themselves for others, it’s not a good feeling. Now, further, when these things are patterned, so when there’s some type of pattern that’s going on, it repeats over and over and over. And so a lot of times what can happen is a person can always feel like they’re in a position where they need to sacrifice the things they want or the things they love or enjoy, or whatever it is that they always need to sacrifice their own wants and desires and dreams or needs for somebody else’s. And so that was a pattern that she learned growing up in her with her parents.
There was a lot of feelings of victim, but also a feeling of feeling that her parents wanted her to be in self-sacrifice mode. Now, something that was helpful that I said to her, because she grew up, she feels, she felt that way. She felt like it was good to sacrifice herself, and it was a strong feeling inside of her.
And that of course can keep problems stuck at a deeper level as well. So as we were working on this, I mentioned to her, I said, wouldn’t it be great if your mom saw you sacrificing your life right now? And what was helpful is, of course Dee looked at that and said, Nope, I don’t think my mom would think that’s impressive.
And so it was powerful. It started to create a shift where she could see things in a different way because for so long her mind had been programmed to feel as though self-sacrifice was a good thing. Now by the way, I know that a lot of people can have this type of programming. I had some self-sacrifice programming as well that it was good to die for others.
And part of the reason that I had that in my own life is because, I grew up with that theme of self-sacrifice, but also growing up in a Lutheran and Christian Church about hearing about Jesus dying on the cross and we’re supposed to sacrifice for each other. So there were so many links in my childhood mind that got linked up that created this feeling of self-sacrifice, that it was the right thing to do. And I have several siblings. There’s five of us, so I have four siblings. And growing up with siblings, you learn to share, you learn to do things for others. And so there was a lot of self-sacrifice energy in so many ways in my own situation, and I had to change that personally.
And as far as our beautiful volunteer, that was one of the things that she really needed to change is that she didn’t need to live in a place of sacrifice and self-sacrifice, and that was key. Now, another insight that is completely counterintuitive is this, is that she also had this pattern of feeling like a victim. Feeling she had to do this, and there was this feeling of feeling like a victim. And what we began to unfold is just also the feeling that she felt like a victim for needing to work on her patterns and change. And so I want to invite you to look at that in your own life because ultimately, if you feel like a victim doing it, it’s not going to have the outcome that you want. Now, when I look at the idea of changing patterns, I feel excitement.
Why? Because all of the time, I help people identify patterns or they go through my video courses and they’re identifying the very patterns that are affecting them and then changing them, and I see them heal themselves, change their life, uplevel their life. They write in comments such as, they’ll say, oh my gosh, it’s actually working my relationships or life.
It’s just beautiful watching people identify and change and transform patterns. And of course, let’s be honest, if somebody’s going through and they’re not getting the results and they feel like they’re doing all of this work and not getting the results, and not getting the results, that could feel frustrating, that could feel like a struggle.
And that’s the very thing that was going on with our beautiful volunteer is she was experiencing that, but that was also her pattern of showing up and feeling like a victim. Unfortunately, and I have so much compassion, it’s not like she put the victim pattern there on purpose. The problem is, it can just perpetuate and repeat and it can feel frustrating and like a struggle.
And that, of course, is what was going on with her. And so what I love is that as she started to make this change and really shift the way she was feeling, she was able to take her pain and get it pretty much gone. And she’s the one who did that. So what I love is that feeling of creating a radical change.
Now, keeping in mind it does take follow through. So it’s going to be important for her to really follow through to established new neural pathways to embrace lasting change. It’s extremely important. And there were other insights by the way, so if you are wanting to listen to that full session, you can do so by clicking the link in the show notes. And if you are somebody who is wanting to gain a deeper level of understanding, there is a link in the show notes for a free training.
