Hello, and happy, beautiful day to you. Welcome to today’s quick IQ episode where we
talk about insights and questions, and today the insight that I want to share with
you has to do with the depth of transformation that is needed to create real
healing. And this is what I mean is, you know, if you think about the podcast
episode, you hear me work with live volunteers and show them how to use their own
mind to release their pain or create incredible changes using their own mind. Now,
you hear me at the end of every single podcast, you’ll hear me say it does take
real change, that they need to follow through. Now, this is what’s beautiful, and
this is what happened on the last episode, is you’ll recall I was working with our
beautiful volunteer, Wilde. And as I was, you may recall that part of her had this
feeling inside that she felt guilty about receiving, But she also felt jealous like
others would be jealous and she felt jealous as well Now what we ended up talking
about was also that when we feel a certain way it can show up in our actions and
It can perpetuate the problem and I see this all of the time, you know, for
example, let’s say that Somebody has had a pattern of of abandonment.
So they feel abandoned or rejected over and over. Now what might happen is in a
relationship they might show up with a lot of insecurity or afraid to connect with
people or even neediness or jealousy or whatever that is. So if they have this
feeling of neediness what does that do? That can of course push other people away
or they have a feeling of expecting people to reject them so then they never really
connect and then they don’t feel included etc etc. My point is is that the mind
programming of the pattern can then show up in our actions and when it shows up in
your actions then it can perpetuate the problem in a variety of different ways and
so if you think back to the last episode with our beautiful volunteer wild that’s
part of what we talked about was exactly that was that as she’s you know feeling
that people are going to be jealous then there can be a part of her who takes
subconscious actions and not only that but then feels guilty about receiving so she
has all of these different emotions going on that can influence her actions and the
way she shows up and then also what she’s perceiving and even reacting to the
situation So there’s so many different actions that can come from that. In fact,
I’ve seen people before where two people have completely different perspectives of a
situation. One person’s maybe hurt because of this reason, another person is hurt
because of this reason, and they’re both triggering each other and they’re not even
seeing the situation in the same way. Again, my point being is that the patterns
that you have that are affecting your health, your life, your relationships,
well, everything. So often these patterns have subtle or even big they’re connected
to actions that you may not realize that you’re making that then further perpetuate
the problem over and over and over and sometimes it can end up in ways that you
may not see it. For example, I worked with a woman in the past who had a lot of
hurt, a lot of resentment, so much rejection. She just wanted a happy, wonderful,
healthy relationship. That’s what she wanted more than anything.
And yet, what would happen is this, is she would have a tendency to be in a
relationship and then start speaking poorly about the person, to her friends. To
like, oh, complaining, oh, he does this, and he does that, and she would complain
about little things or whatnot, even though she wanted the relationship. She wanted
the relationship to work, but she felt like it was cool to kind of complain, oh,
he does this, and oh, yeah, because he wasn’t perfect, but she would complain about
the little things, and then relationships wouldn’t work out. What would happen is
then, you know, friends would come around they didn’t necessarily like the guy and
then because of the little things and then and then what would happen is then her
energy would be all over the place and then the relationship, her relationships one
after another after another didn’t work out because she’d start to just not feel it
but then she would still want the relationship. It was just this rollercoaster of
emotions. And so once I said to her, I was having a conversation with her and I
said, “Oh my gosh.” Like it was just like, “Oh, he did little things. Oh, he
worked out early in the morning and she was not thrilled with it.” And I was like,
“Oh my gosh, she’s working out.” And so then she was like, “Well, I guess.” It was
like these little things. But that’s exactly the point is that, again,
in her situation, she would just complain to others and then he could feel that
disconnect and it like every single relationship that she had didn’t work out for
that reason. And so my point is just simply this, is it so often I’ll see people
who of course are doing the positive thinking or the meditation or the visualization
and all those things, but they’re not really changing the patterns, but when we
really change the patterns and then we go deep into the transformation.
So we change the pattern all of the way. It changes who we are. It’s a real
transformation. It changes how we think, how we feel, how we perceive things, and
also the way that we show up in life. You’ll notice little actions, even if it’s
just the way that you’re showing up or little actions in your life, change as well.
And so that’s the insight that I want to give you just because sometimes, let’s be
honest, this is what happens or can happen on the spiritual journey or the healing
journey is this, is that people can get very stuck in their head. They’re meditating
and thinking positive and meditated and then they keep being themselves and being
themselves and being them. But when you’re really embracing change, what happens is
you transform these patterns and more and more of the best of you shows up. It’s
like you, as you get rid of the patterns or the hurt or the negativity, you notice
that more of the best of you shows up in your energy and also in your actions.
It’s really beautiful. And so that’s the insight that I want to share with you
today. Just because again, from our last episode with Wild, that’s what we
experienced. We saw some patterns going on, but we also talked about it does take a
genuine change of really embracing different actions, even if they’re subconscious.
