Have you ever felt like no matter what you do, it's just… never quite enough? You work harder, achieve more, try to prove yourself — and yet that feeling of not being good enough keeps coming back?
For many people this feeling started early in life and has quietly shaped the way they see themselves ever since. Because it feels so familiar, most people assume it's simply part of who they are.
But what if it's not?
In this quick insight episode, Brandy builds on last week's powerful session with volunteer Jas to unpack one of the most common — and most draining — patterns she sees in her work: the feeling of never being good enough.
Here's what makes this pattern so tricky: because it feels so normal, most people don't realize it's quietly affecting their health, their relationships, their happiness, and their energy. Just like we don't feel the earth rotating around the sun, our minds can shape our entire experience of reality — including the story that we're not enough.
In this episode you'll discover:
If you've been wondering why, no matter what you do, your efforts still don't feel like enough — and even when you are doing great, something invisible seems to pull you back — this episode is for you.

Welcome to Heal Yourself. Change Your Life. I’m Brandy Gillmore and what I’m most known for is helping people to create radical transformations and even demonstrating the power of the mind and self-healing under medical equipment so you can see the results and. My work has even been published in a medical journal because it’s truly incredible what we are all capable of when we understand our own minds at a deeper level.
So whether you’re new to this work or you’ve been studying the Power of the Mind for many years. I love that you are here. I love that we’re on this incredible journey together, and I look forward to sharing breakthrough information with you. That said, on this podcast, I’ll share two types of episodes.
First, self-healing episodes, where I share key insights from working with live volunteers. And the second type are where I answer questions from the audience. That said, if you’d like to volunteer or submit a question, come visit me at BrandyGillmore.com. On that note, let’s dive in.
Hello and happy beautiful day to you. You know, one of the tricky things when it comes to mind body healing or transformation is this, is that so often the very problem can feel normal. It can feel like it’s just part of how life is, and I see that all of the time, and that’s one of the things I wanted to talk about today because.
If you listened to last week’s episode where I worked with our beautiful volunteer jazz, if you think about it, she’s just an incredible being, had been very, very successful and always felt like she was not enough for one reason or another, and ultimately. Felt not deserving of love and self-love, and that’s what we talked about on last week’s episode.
Now, I wanted to take that a step further because so often people can feel that feeling of not good enough inside. And this is the problem is first and foremost, when somebody feels not good enough, of course. They can think that it’s true. They see that it’s true. They perceive that it’s true even though it’s not true.
And one way to think about this, when we think about the awareness that our minds and our, our, our minds really do shape our lives, when you stop and look at the big picture of life, if we think about it, I mean, we know. The world is round, right? And we’re literally rotating around the sun. Now, does it feel to you like we’re rotating around the sun?
It doesn’t. Does it feel like we’re on the side of a planet? It doesn’t. We don’t say let’s drive up the planet, you know? But we’re on the side of the planet, and so my point is, is that our thoughts and our minds are literally. Shaping our lives in every way. So if somebody has a belief that says they’re not good enough, they’re going to keep seeing that over and over and over.
And so if you’ve experienced that, I want to invite you to start looking at this in a different way, because so often I’ll see people doing exactly what our beautiful volunteer was, but all the time I’ll see people who are. Basically like on this hamster wheel of trying to feel good enough of trying, of trying, of doing everything.
And for some reason, one re reason or another feels not good enough. And a lot of times these patterns can start in childhood. And so what can happen is that pattern can feel not good. Somebody can feel not good enough, and then for a while they’re striving and striving to be good enough. And then after a while, the mind and kind of just goes, I’m never going to be good enough.
And, and so my point is. Is that it can feel stuck, it can feel frustrating. It can feel exhausting and burnout and all of these different emotions because of this pattern. And it’s like trying to outrun a pattern that shows up everywhere. And so that’s the insight that I want to share because you know, again, so often these patterns can feel normal and part of the reason they can feel normal is ’cause people have had them their whole life or part.
Another reason is because. Of course there are a lot of people who have illness and they’re struggling and you know, they have different types of health issues. And so sometimes what can happen is, is that there are patterns that a lot of people have that people just don’t realize it’s affecting their health, their life, their happiness, because it can feel common, or at least it can be.
Perceived to be common. It’s tricky when it comes to the mind, and so that’s the insight that I wanted to share. Again, just because I see so often people can feel not good enough in life and it affects their health, their life, their happiness, their love, their connection, their self love, like literally every part of life.
And. Can create this exhaustion or this feeling of wanting to give up and, and just so many different emotions. And so that’s the insight that I want to share. And of course, something simple that you could do to just start changing. This is just at least start showing your mind. Places that you are good enough, and even taking that in and taking that in, noticing something that you’re great at, noticing something else and be willing to feel it and to take it in.
Now, of course, you hear me say this all of the time for deeper level healing and transformation. It typically takes a deeper level of understanding the subconscious mind and rewiring the mind at a deeper level, but. Even just starting to do this can help to start create a shift so you start to feel a bit different.
Just the awareness of it and also even just starting to bring in the positive even more can be helpful. And so just food for thought and creating that change. Because what if you looked around and everybody felt good about who they are? Good about who they are, because a lot of times what can happen is when somebody feels like they’re not good enough, they do ultimately want to give up or they’re struggling, or one reason or another, it shows up in different ways.
But what happens is this, is that when you start to feel like you’re good enough, it’s like more and more of the best of you can show up in life. And, and that doesn’t mean that you have to succeed and run the world. It, it just means showing up the best of you in friendships and relationships, connection.
And so my point is, is that the more you can embrace that you really are good enough that we all are. The more that the best of you can show up. And so just food for thought on this topic because I see it so often. And on that note, as always, I wanna ask you to please do take just a quick moment to hit the share button on this episode.
You know, share it with somebody you love. Somebody you care about or somebody you don’t know. Because the more that every single person in our world feels healthy and happy and loved and loving, the better this world is for all of us. And of course, if you are somebody who is wanting a deeper understanding of mind body healing, there is a link for a free training in the show notes that can give you a deeper understanding.
And so that said, please do make a point to have a wonderful, wonderful rest of your day, and I look forward to connecting with you on the next episode. We’ll see you there.
