My name is Brandy Gillmore, and after recovering from my own life changing injury, it's become my mission to share with others the same discoveries I made that changed my health and my entire life. Let's begin.

Hello and welcome. It is so wonderful to connect with you. I just love that you are here continuing to expand your mind, your energy, your consciousness, your healing. I just love it. And I just love today's episode. Our volunteer, you're absolutely going to love her. She's just so sweet and also. She's got some health issues that are affecting her that are really hard and challenging and devastating at a psychological level when you're told you're not going to get better and that things are just going to keep getting worse.

So that's one piece of the equation that we're going to talk about today is starting to shift that feeling and the awareness and the mindset that can help you to do that. So that's one thing. Another thing that I really love about today's episode is this, is that, you know, a lot of times when there's some type of health issue.

There can be layers to it. You know, when things are off, then you can feel frustrated or hurt or fearful or whatnot. And so patterns can continue. And you know, a lot of people right now in life may be frustrated with things with, uh, surroundings or election or whatever it is, life or You know, whatever it is, and many times these patterns can affect you and you may not even realize it, but also a lot of times these patterns are connected to bigger patterns.

In fact, that's actually what we talked about on last week's episode where we worked with our beautiful volunteer, Shelly, where she had that very thing that, you know, was connected specifically with the election and, and emotions going on that were connected to a bigger pattern. Now. Today's issues are not connected to the election at all, but what is really helpful is that all of the time people may have frustrations towards their family, towards their friends, and there's always a bigger picture.

There's always a bigger pattern, a bigger picture, and unfortunately, Of course, it can affect your health, your life, your happiness. And so just for that reason, I'll dive in because in so many ways, today's episode is just really powerful and mind expanding. And so that's where we're going as we step in with our beautiful volunteer, Bettina.

Here we go.

Hi, it's wonderful to connect with you. Yeah, you too. Thank you. How's your day going? It was a busy day. Um, I'm nine months pregnant, so being in my own body is really uncomfortable. So Okay. And congratulations. Are you having a boy or a girl? It will be a boy. Yeah. It will be a boy. Huge congratulations. I have a four year old daughter, and now I'll have a boy, too.

Oh, huge congratulations. I'm, I'm excited for you. And also, what can I help you with today? Well, I have, um, pretty rare disease. It's called Fibrosus dysplasia and it's um, a genetic mutation. At one point, um, my own immune system started to work backwards and started to restructure the bone in my jaw into a a different substitute, and it's not a bone anymore, and it cannot be healed, and all these specialists and doctors told me that I have to wait until it gets worse.

And when I ask what does worst mean, they say when it breaks. Um, they won't operate me because they will have to replace my whole jaw, my mandibula, and then after plastic surgeries, my face wouldn't be the same, and my teeth would have to be, uh, uh, changed or eliminated. That's it. and replaced. So they told me it wasn't worth it.

Okay. And I went to, um, a psychologist to be able to accept this condition that I have to live with this and I have to live with the pain that affects my ears. Um, I tried different diets. I tried to change my lifestyle. I went to the, uh, psychologist. I Tried mind control. I tried everything. Nothing helps me.

The painkillers, uh, the strong ones help me. But, uh, for example, now that I'm pregnant, I cannot take any. Okay. So it's difficult to I hear you.

All right. So let's go ahead and pause it just for a quick moment. You know, first and foremost, we can all have absolute compassion for her situation. And also, when we think about it for a moment, we have to make sure that we're not future tripping off of some fear. And saying, you know, and accepting it.

That's exactly what she's talking about. You know, going to the psychologist, trying to accept what her future is. And I want to invite you to, of course, make sure not to do that. And I don't say that lightly. I mean, obviously that was my situation where I quote unquote was not going to get better, wasn't going to heal.

And I didn't accept that. Now, I'm going to unpack this even more in the area of health, but I also want you to think about this in the bigger picture. You know, we've been talking about election stress and this, that, the other and whatnot. And there are people who are excited about the results. There are also people who are very doomed or feeling doom and gloom.

And, It's going to be terrible and stressed or anything else for that matter, whether it's a diagnosis or doom and gloom for any reason. The thing that you'll want to remember is this, that if you're focused on doom and gloom, like it is going to be horrible and that's what you're expecting and projecting, then I would strongly recommend, of course, changing that.

Because of course that fear can mess you up. That negative expectation can mess you up and it can affect you on so many levels. Not just, of course, your health and also your life, what you're manifesting. I mean, just on every level. Now, I know personally, firsthand, that creating that change It does take some effort, you know, for me in my situation, my entire life was a mess.

You know, I had been injured for so many years and was literally, I mean, struggling in every single part of my life. I was in extreme fear, but then to heal, I didn't have to just think positive. I really had to it. I really had to get rid of the fear and program in confidence and program in positive expectation and program in the real changes at a deeper level in the subconscious mind.

I really had to rewire my mind. So the reason I want to emphasize that is that you hear me say all of the time, I make this look easy and I do. And the analogy that I use all of the time. Is this, is that if you've ever watched Michael Jordan shoot a basketball and you see him make a basket from anywhere on the court, it looks so easy.

And yet he has programmed his mind, his nervous system. And so remembering that. You hear me say all the time, I make it look easy and it does take real change. And so part of the reason I highlight that also is because as we can see with our beautiful volunteer, we can have absolute compassion. And as she mentioned, you know, she's trying to stay positive and at the same time, She's really feeling inside heavy about it on heart.

And then there's another part of her who's trying to accept that that's her reality. And I want to say, you know, to really get the body to heal itself, it does take a genuine change to get rid of the fear, to have that positive expectation. So it's not just about belief. You know, that positive expectation is a key and also clearing the subconscious layers.

That are going on at a deeper level. And so that's where we're headed as we step back in with our beautiful volunteer, Bettina. Here we go.

I hear you. You ready to dive in? Yeah. Yes. All right. All right. And it's been how many years? I was diagnosed in 2017, but got birthed when I had my, my daughter. Okay. So, uh, so here we go. So if I ask you right now, by the way, what your current level of pain is, what's your current level of pain? Right now, zero, because it's not a constant pain.

It just comes and goes and comes and goes. Sometimes it's for like one hour, other times like two days. Okay. But, um, it came last night, and out of ten, it was like six or seven. Okay. So give me just one second. So, it came last night, so give me one second, I just want to look at that trigger. Let me just feel into that for a moment.

Give me one second. Bingo. Okay. And, um, that. Bingo. Uh, you have a brother? I do. Yes. Can you give me his first initial please? M. Bingo. Okay. Bingo. And if I ask you how often you find yourself a bit frustrated with him, what would you say? It's unbelievable that you're asking about him. Okay. Why do you say it's unbelievable?

Oh my God, because I've been listening to your podcast and I was thinking right before you connected that I'm pretty sure that she will ask about my brother. Frustration, um, 10 out of 10 every day, four years now. Oh my god, it's unbelievable that you asked about him. Yeah, our relationship isn't the best.

Exactly, and if I ask you, bingo. Um, Give me one second. If I ask you to notice the part of you who keeps getting sucked into the argument with him, can you see that? Um. Let me put it in another way. If I ask you what he does to frustrate you, what would you say that is? Well, the way of, uh, thinking is just different than mine, um, the arrogance, uh, he, he has the, the way he talks to, to me, the way he thinks, so basically everything frustrates me in the past couple of years.

Bingo. Okay. So I want you to notice there's a couple of things. So notice you said his arrogance, the way he talks to you and it all just frustrates you. Right? So give me one second because part of it's a bigger pattern and give me one second. Bingo. Now you're the younger one. Is that, is that the case? No, I'm the older one.

You're the older one, okay. There's a feeling from age six of feeling like nobody respects you and nobody listens to you and they're not listening to you, like they're not respecting and not listening to you and frustrated. Can you see that feeling? With the feeling, yes. I'm not sure that's from the age of six, but the thoughts were in my head and my Adolescence, I'd say.

Okay. Okay. Now, if I ask you, where did they come from in your adolescence that you remember them? Where else were they other than your brother? Well, I was a difficult teenager, uh, you know, I have to, I have to, um, say, but maybe when I was 12 and started to change, you know, the way of my thinking, my body started to change.

And I started to feel, um, the odd one out. Bingo. So give me one second. Bingo. You know, the feeling of feeling like, um, and this could be cultural, so maybe you don't, maybe this phrase won't, won't resonate, but the feeling of it. Have you ever heard like that saying of feeling like kids should be seen, but not heard, like don't listen to children type of feeling?

I know what it means, but, uh. Give me one second. Okay, so, uh, can you give me your dad's first initial, please? Bingo. Okay. And, uh, and then can you, uh, can you say your mom's first initial? And great. And can you say your dad's first initial again, please? Bingo. Okay. Bingo. There's a feeling, a feeling like you're crying, like your dad won't listen to you.

Uh, are you, do you, are you familiar with that? Do you remember that in your past? Well, my dad, not really. So, Let's go this direction. If I ask you how often you experience a feeling of frustration that your daughter is not listening to you, how often do you feel that?

No, um, well, a lot. Wait a sec, wait a sec. , and I want you to notice the frustration in that. You see that, right? I do, yes. Okay. So my point is, is that while this issue may seem like your brother, that there's a feeling, it's a pattern that's around you. I see it with your father. I see it with your daughter. I even see it sometimes with your husband.

Uh, can you see that also? Yeah, I can. Mm-Hmm. . Zero to 10. How high? I'd see six. That is exactly what I would have said. I love your awareness. I love your awareness. Okay. So notice now when you're thinking in this way, you can see the pattern, right? Yeah, I can. Fantastic. Fantastic. I love that. Now, you know what's exciting about patterns?

That I can change them. Right? I love the way you're thinking. Exactly.

All right. So let's go ahead and actually pause the session right here because This is something that is very, very present right now for a lot of people. And it's this, it's that there can be underlying patterns and, you know, not to make everything about the election, but right now I know a lot of people are struggling with the election.

It's not necessarily the election. It can also be. What's happening with it or relationships with brothers or family or friends or whatnot that feel frustrating, that feel hurtful or upset or, you know, just all of these spiral of emotions. And I know that for a lot of people, they're getting sucked into the spiral.

They're getting sucked into the frustration towards the mom or the dad or the brother or the friend or spouse, or the news or the TV, and they're feeling very frustrated. And I want to invite you to remember, to remember, to remember a few things. First and foremost, that these patterns can affect your health and your life.

And secondly, when we have patterns going on, even though a situation in our world may feel very triggering, that there's an underlying pattern that really can be impacting you at a deeper level. That is impacting your health and your life. And instead of getting frustrated at life, or the world, or the situation, to think bigger.

To think bigger about healing yourself, transforming your life, not getting sucked in. Because I know that there's a lot of people that are there in that way. And maybe this has nothing to do with the election. Maybe it's regarding your health and getting sucked into that and the fear and the frustration or life or dating or whatever it is.

Maybe you're happy about the election results, but you're frustrated in another area or whatnot. My point is simply this, is that so often I see people who are struggling with feelings of frustration so much so that they're amplifying and they're frustrated and frustrated. And the problem is, is it keeps them from ever finding the solution.

It's kind of like this is that if you imagine a third grader who's sitting there trying to do their math homework and they're really, really, really frustrated now from that place of real frustration and upset. How good are they at math? Well, they don't feel like they're good at math at all. How easy is it for them to learn?

It's not. And so of course, with life, the same thing happens. The trigger can come up and then there's the frustration with this person or that person, and then there's all of these emotions and they can continue the spiral. And the problem is, is that it can show up in so many different ways and of course affect health and life, but it makes it hard to ever learn.

If you keep going into the frustration, it makes it harder, even impossible to ever truly identify the patterns that are going on at a deeper level. And so I just wanted to kind of pause it here just because I know that this week there's a lot of people with a lot of emotions in one way or another that can be affecting you.

And again, maybe the election, maybe not, but that's the insight that I want to leave you with today is exactly this. And we're going to go ahead and continue with Bettina next week, where we go deeper into the pattern and the understanding of what really needs to shift. at a deeper level because with each illness, it's always, there's always some type of unique mindset and twist that's going on.

But that's the key is that the more that we can identify the specific patterns and then unravel the layers, The easier it is to then be able to transform them, to transform the patterns and really genuinely heal yourself. And so that's ultimately where we're going next week with Patina is diving deeper into the next level of awareness.

And again, the insight that I want to invite you to take from today's episode is I want to invite you to look at your life and see if you can make a point not to get sucked in to the frustrations or the hurt or the upset, but instead, Be willing to look at things with an open mind. And by the way, on the note, I know that there's a lot of emotions going on for a lot of people.

So that said, I want to invite you to take this information and really be willing. to change, to look at a bigger level of change at the pattern and making sure you're not getting sucked into the chaos, the frustration, all of those things. Because, you know, during my own injury, I could have gotten sucked into the fear, the diagnosis, the future, the all of the things.

And you'll hear me say time and time again, I mean, I had to not get in that. I had to literally go from programming my mind from feeling fearful and stuck in all of this stuff to actually really feeling safe and good and excited about my life. So it, did it take real change? Absolutely. Was it a big shift for me?

Absolutely. And. Of course, pivotal. It was absolutely pivotal. Changed my health, my life, everything. So, that's what I want to invite you to do. Make sure not to get stuck in all of the, the stress, the negativity, et cetera, but to really change your happiness, your health, your mindset, your subconscious mind.
