It is so wonderful to connect with you. I just love that you are here continuing to expand your mind, your energy, your consciousness, your healing. I just love it. And I just love today's episode for so many reasons, first and foremost. If you're somebody who has felt stuck or you have felt like you want the next insight or breakthrough or level of awareness, this is definitely a powerful episode for that.You know, as we dive in, what we're going to talk about is some of the counterintuitive connections in the mind that keep you stuck and keep you from healing yourself or stepping into the happiness, love, or joy or connection that you really want in life. And further, part of what we're also going to talk about is that a lot of people are unknowingly actually reinforcing these negative patterns at a subconscious level.And that's part of the tricky part. That is a part that can keep you stuck. That is a part that can keep you from really creating the transformation that you're wanting in life. And so just so many reasons that I absolutely just love. Today's episode, not to mention that I just love today's volunteer. I love her determination. I love her strength. I love her heart. She's just, she's brilliant. She's brilliant. She's beautiful. She's everything. She's just wonderful. And she has also been very stuck for a long period of time. In fact, it was an interesting unfoldment when I first stepped into this episode, because she's just, she's such a sweetheart.She's absolutely thoughtful. And the first thing that she says to me to help kind of warn me or give me advice as she puts it is that she warns me that I'm probably not going to be able to help her and she just wanted to let me know that ahead of time. Now, of course. There's a huge pivot and she's shocked that when she starts to see all of the pieces come together.So I just, I love the unfoldment. I love her heart, her laughter, her insight. I mean, she's just truly a beautiful, beautiful being. You are absolutely going to love her. And so on that note, let's go ahead and dive in with our beautiful volunteer. Corrine, here we go.Meeting CorrineHello. Hello, gorgeous. It's wonderful to connect with you. Can I give you some advice?Corrine: Absolutely.Okay, so I've been told by so many people, I'm too hard. So maybe you might, maybe you can't help me, that's it. I've just been told it doesn't matter what I do, there is a heaviness inside of me and I am unable at this point to feel joy or happiness or anything.I just feel hopelessness and I've tried. Okay. I'm 57 and I know that I keep attracting the lightness of my feeling and I don't know how to break out of this and nobody has ever been able to help me. Okay. Do you think we should just like call it quits now? Do you think we should like give up?Brandi: No. I'm going to keep trying.There has to be a way back.Corrine: Okay. I'm just checking. Okay.Brandi: Okay. Ready? You're beautiful. Absolutely stunning.Corrine: Thank you.As are you. You're so sweet. You are. Absolutely. It's so good to meet nice people.Brandi: Okay. Thank you. Thank you. Likewise. Likewise, beautiful. Alright. So let me unpack this a little bit more, shall we?And I know what it's like to feel like you've been trying everything and everything and everything. I get it. Um, okay. So would you say the biggest reason you're here, it's not necessarily about healing a physical pain or physical symptom, but emotional, is that correct?Corrine: 100%. Yes.Brandi: Okay. Okay. So let me just look into it real quick before we get too far in.Let me just look into it real quick. Give me one second. Okay. Bingo. Bingo. Okay.Key Insight: Happiness Linked to Negative OutcomesThe first thing your energy says is this. It says every time I'm happy something goes wrong. Are you familiar with that feeling?Corrine: Yes.Okay. Yes. So if I told you I have it programmed into my mind that every time I'm happy something goes wrong, how safe does it feel to be happy?Corrine: It doesn't. It doesn't. It doesn't.Okay. Now, I can tell you I've worked with people before who, like this beautiful, beautiful being that I worked with who was suicidal, in a horrible place. He had been, as a child, he had been playing around at the bus stop. And his mother said something like, Stop playing around, you're gonna get hit by a bus.So he linked it up, that if he's happy, he could do something stupid, walk in front of a bus. Die. And so he was going to die if he was happy. That's what he linked up in his mind. So another case, by example, and for example, a woman that I worked with felt like she worked in a man's world, in technology, and felt like if she was happy, then they wouldn't take her seriously.So she felt like she couldn't be happy. And so what happens is, it's kind of like this. Imagine somebody who wants to be in love. And they feel like it's not safe to love.Corrine: Yes.How much does their heart shut down?Corrine: All the way. Completely.All the way. Yes. Now, yeah, so the thing of it is, is that this got linked up at age six.And that's what it says, it's like every time I'm happy, something goes wrong. That's what, that's the energy. You can see that though, right?Corrine: Yes. Yes.Brandi: Okay. So I'm going to ask you to breathe.Insight on Family Dynamics: Love and Negative BehaviorAlright. So let's go ahead and pause it just for a quick moment. You know, first and foremost, I just love her, her communication. She's just so direct, you know, just so direct and also amazing. Self-awareness, sense of humor, just brilliant, just brilliant. So I love that. And as far as the miswired programming, you want to keep in mind that there's a couple of reasons this is tricky, you know, first and foremost, because.It is illogical. A lot of times what happens is we tend to just ignore the programming and just say, Oh, it doesn't really matter. That's silly. And I know I personally did that with my own healing. I just, there were miswired mind programming, you know. Like a fear of dying, it was in my subconscious mind and an expectation and also a desire to want to die for others because I felt like it was the right thing to do to die for others, which now doesn't make any sense.I can do a lot more things being alive. So, but at the time I had that. Linked up in my subconscious mind and every time the thoughts came up, I thought, well, this is silly. And so initially I just brushed it aside thinking, you know, it was ridiculous. But as I learned and understood the subconscious mind even better, I realized that even these subconscious patterns that don't make quote unquote logical sense need to be rewired.Create that genuine transformation and that was a valuable lesson for me. That was pivotal. You hear me talk about the importance of subtle emotions all of the time because that was another thing. You know, I thought well, this is subtle like it can't be affecting my health, but that meant it was in my subconscious mind.So just very profound and pivotal for me the more I became aware of what I needed to do. Now another reason they can be tricky is this. is a lot of times people are actually reinforcing them and they don't even realize it and it's more common than you may think. And in fact, it's really common in the personal development space where I see people who have been on the journey of working on healing themselves, transforming their lives, even with our beautiful being right here, she's been on the personal development journey for You know, years for, I think she said 40 years or something like that.A very, very long time she's been on this journey and yet she's been stuck. And what you'll notice, and what we'll talk about coming up is that all of the time people end up reinforcing these patterns at a subconscious level and they don't realize it, and that's where we're going as we step back in with our beautiful volunteer, Corrine.The Tall Poppy and Personal TransformationHere we go.Bingo. Okay. So I would say because of the way you grew up. I would say tall poppy is actually in there a lot because it's like you cut down the person as you're cutting each other down, so to speak. It was dangerous to feel like if you're positive, like everybody else was going to cut you down. Can you see that?Corrine: Yes. Yes. Yes.Yes.Insight: Changing Love LanguageNow imagine if you change your love language, what your level of connection is going to be with them instead. More integrity, more honesty, more respect.Right, right.So I'm going to ask you to breathe. Now not only that, this is the other thing. Is in this case, if you feel good about self, And you're cutting others down like it feels like there's connection over cutting each other down. So it's like you have to be down.Conclusion and InvitationAlright, so I want to go ahead and actually pause the session right here, because this is so profound, but on a bigger, bigger level than most people would realize. And so I want to take a moment and really break this down and pull the insights from this because as I mentioned previously, a lot of people are unknowingly reinforcing negative programming into their minds or even putting it in their minds and they don't realize it.Key Takeaways
