Have you ever experienced anxiety that you just couldn’t seem to shake?
Maybe you’ve tried to identify every fear, worry, stressful experience, or past hurt…
and yet the anxious feelings continue.
What if there is another emotional layer underneath that you haven’t thought to look for?
In this episode, Brandy shares a counterintuitive insight from working with a beautiful volunteer who had been struggling with anxiety for approximately 17 years.
She had spent years trying to understand the fear and anxious feelings, yet still felt stuck. But as Brandy began working with her mind in a different way, her emotional state began to shift dramatically.
In this episode, you’ll discover:
• Why anxiety may sometimes have emotional layers underneath the obvious fear or worry
• How guilt can remain hidden even when it doesn’t seem logical
• Why repeatedly searching for more fear or trauma may not always uncover the full pattern
• How multiple emotions can become intertwined beneath anxiety
• Why identifying the specific emotional pattern can create a very different opportunity for change
The takeaway is that anxiety is not always what people think it is.
And one of the reasons people can struggle with it for years…or even decades, is that there may be an underlying emotional mechanism that has never been fully identified or addressed.
When those deeper layers are finally uncovered and changed, everything can begin to shift.
And yes, it does take real change—not just trying to think differently on the surface.
But when you identify what is really happening underneath and begin changing it at a deeper level, it can open the door to a completely different level of emotional freedom, love, connection, and transformation.

Welcome to Heal Yourself. Change Your Life. I’m Brandy Gillmore, and what I’m most known for is helping people to create radical transformations and even demonstrating the power of the mind and self-healing under medical equipment so you can see the results. And my work has even been published in a medical journal because it’s truly incredible what we are all capable of when we understand our own minds at a deeper level.
So whether you’re new to this work or you’ve been studying the power of the mind for many years, I love that you are here. I love that we’re on this incredible journey together, and I look forward to sharing breakthrough information with you. That said, on this podcast, I’ll share two types of episodes.
First, self-healing episodes where I share key insights from working with live volunteers. And the second type are where I answer questions from the audience. That said, if you’d like to volunteer or submit a question, come visit me at BrandyGillmore.com. On that note, let’s dive in
Hello and happy beautiful day to you. I want to add in a quick but important note to make this podcast very easy to navigate because today’s episode has a special format. Today, I worked with a live volunteer, and as you probably know, there are a lot of people who are now using AI to modify information online.
For that reason, we have taken an extra step to help protect our beautiful volunteer and the integrity of this work to help keep the information from being modified. And we actually love how this turned out because it provides you with even more information. This is how it works. On today’s episode, you’ll hear an overview of the person that I worked with, and I will provide you with simple but powerful breakthrough insights that helped our volunteer begin making a radical shift.
Then at the end of this short breakthrough episode, if you are ready for a deep dive, you can click in the show notes to gain access to the actual self-healing session where I worked directly with the live volunteer. This enables us to help protect the information online from being modified while still continuing to provide you with powerful information to help bridge the gap between science and spirituality and personal empowerment, because it’s truly incredible what you are capable of when you learn to understand your mind at a deeper level.
That said, let’s dive into the simple but powerful insights that came from working with today’s volunteer. Here we go.
Have you ever had feelings of anxiety and felt like you just couldn’t shake them? If so, you’ll definitely want to listen to today’s episode. You know, so often I see people who have struggled to really create that shift at a deeper level. In fact, today I worked with a beautiful, beautiful volunteer who had been struggling with anxiety and anxious feelings for about 17 years and felt like no matter what she did, she wasn’t really creating that change, and in fact, the anxiety ended up feeling like it was increasing.
But as we started working with her mind in a different way, she was able to take her level of anxiousness from about a six, seven, gone. So it really shifted, and she did that. And so I want to share with you a key insight to creating that change because anxiety is so counterintuitive. I mean, if you think about it, so often what people think when anxiety comes up is they think, “Where is the panic?
Where is the fear coming from?” And they try to address that. In fact, I’ve sp- seen people spend years going through every single trauma or problem or fear or worry that they’ve ever had, and yet it isn’t changing, which is part of exactly what our beautiful volunteer today was doing. But what I did to work with her mind in a different way is I didn’t just look for the fear or stress or panic, I looked for the feeling of guilt because so often what can happen is this, is a person can feel guilty underneath, even if it doesn’t make any sense.
I mean, if you think about survivor’s guilt or somebody can have a horrible trauma and inside they can beat themselves up and feel like it’s their fault or they’re a bad person, and yet there’s all of these feelings of, of course, feeling fear on top or feeling like a victim or, or whatnot on top of that But underneath, so often there can be a feeling of guilt, a feeling of feeling bad like you’ve done something wrong that can be hidden and can continue perpetuating the problem, and I see it all of the time.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve worked with people who have been everywhere and tried every single treatment that they could possibly try and think of, and yet nothing was working. And then what happens, they come across my work or my podcast or whatnot, and then they see that I can feel what other people feel and th- and they go, “Okay, wait a second.
What is the key to unlock it?” And of course, there can be layers with emotions, but so often, I know it’s very counterintuitive, but so often there’s an underlying feeling of guilt, a feeling like you did something wrong, a feeling bad for some reason or another. And so that’s the insight that I want to share with you just because, you know, it, obviously in our world you see more and more people that are feeling stuck with feelings of anxiety and feelings of anxious feelings, and yet they’re stuck and trying every single thing.
And, and I’ve see people so often who are highly medicated and just heavily medicated because They haven’t been able to get it to shift, and then ultimately out, find a piece of guilt, like a feeling, a pattern of guilt or feeling bad underneath that, that can be the key. Now, of course, there are other keys as well, but this is one is very common.
And because it’s so counterintuitive, it is so often overlooked. And so I just want to share that key insight just because I, I know how often I see people who have been struggling with these very feelings, and it’s so counterintuitive. Now, by the way, if you’d like to listen to the actual session where I worked with Lauren, there is also a link in the show notes so you can actually listen to that.
Because there were other things we changed as well. There was, you know, these feelings of guilt, but also some feelings of anger and hurt and, and reactiveness, and so there were other feelings as well. But to start creating that change, we started working with the feelings of guilt and feeling bad. So it’s, it’s counterintuitive, but also pivotal.
And what I love is ultimately she went from feeling these feelings of anxiety and panic to literally feeling tears of sweetness, like in such a sweet, wonderful, wonderful way, and a connectedness with family. It was just… She, she just has such, such a beautiful heart. So food for thought because so often I see people who have struggled with really creating the shift.
And let’s be honest, life is not as fun when we’re going through life feeling anxiety and panic. It just, it’s, it’s not a great feeling. But so often I’ve seen people when they really understand what’s going on with their mind at a deeper level create a radical change to feel love and happiness and joy and transformation, and that’s one of the many things that I love about even working with the session with our beautiful volunteer, Lauren, was exactly that.
So here’s the quick insight, and if you’d like the deeper, uh, awareness and, and want to listen to that actual session, again, the link is in the show notes. It is truly incredible what we’re all capable of when we create that real, real change. So I love that. And by the way, on that note, if you are somebody who is working on healing yourself, there is also a link for a free training in the show notes as well.
If you’d like to understand more about how I’ve been able to show healing results even under medical equipment, that link is there as well. And as always, I want to ask you to please do take just a quick moment to hit the share button on this episode. You know, share it with somebody you love, somebody you care about, or somebody you don’t even know because truly the more that every single person in our world feels healthy and happy and loved and loving, truly the better this world is for all of us.
And so please do take just a quick moment to hit the share button, and please do make a point to have an incredible rest of your day. I look forward to connecting with you on the next episode. We’ll see you there
