Hello and welcome back. On today's quick IQ episode, I want to share with you three simple but powerful things that you could do to begin shifting the karma in your life and also increase healing. And so first I want to start by identifying karma, if you will, In a simple sense, so a lot of times I wouldn't necessarily use the word karma and yet let's be honest, it's become a cultural term and there's some distinctions, there's some things that I want to really define on what that looks like because a lot of times people might think karma is that you just have, you know, negative energy ongoing or they may think, you know, you do this thing and then you deserve it back and it's, You know, if you push somebody, then you're going to end up getting pushed.

And it's not necessarily like that. However, there is an energy of punishment that can happen in our world or even deserving punishment and attracting negative situations and circumstances and all of that. And so that's what I want to look at is really. How do we attract those negative circumstances?

And most importantly, how can we shift our energy away from attracting those negative circumstances? And so that's what I want to talk about today is three simple things that you can do to stop attracting those negative circumstances in your life. Now, number one is this, is that if you notice that you have patterns of guilt, even if they don't make logical sense, even if they're not true, and you know, if you think about the last podcast episode, I worked with a beautiful volunteer, Myla, and she had a lot of guilt going on in her life that didn't even make sense.

I mean, and I say that with absolute respect, keeping in mind that the things that were linked up in my own injury. Didn't make sense. So it's not a judgment or a criticism at all. It's saying that she felt guilty, you know, parenting guilt for asking her son to help out around the house and, you know, and feeling those feelings of guilt for that.

Those can, that can attract punishing type of patterns where things aren't working out, things aren't manifesting the way you want them to. And of course she's not the only person. I mean, if we think about it, a lot of people can get guilt miswired. Unfortunately. Unfortunately, we know that even if you think about, you may have heard that in abuse cases, sometimes the person who's being abused can blame themselves, which also of course makes no logical sense, but that's what can get linked up in the mind.

Now my point just being that changing patterns of guilt or self punishment is going to be really important for people. those negative circumstances. So that is one thing that you could do. Now, another thing is this is of course, that if you have made a mistake, then you'll want to make sure to not do it again.

Just literally just commit to yourself. You're never going to do it again. Apologize for it and really just commit to not doing it again. Because if you're really genuinely. In that mindset, it really does clear the energy. You know, let's be honest. We're human beings. We've all made mistakes, but when we get into that place where we say, look, I'm not going to do this again, or if you're currently making a mistake that you discontinue making the mistake, that can create a powerful shift.

in energy. And so that is number two. Now, number three is this is also noticing if you have patterns that you're justifying. And this can happen a lot where let's say somebody gets mad and they get really mad and they take it out on somebody else. And they say, well, you know, um, I was upset or it wasn't fair.

Or they say, well, you know, um, I was stressed out. And they have a tendency to take out negative action on others. Unfortunately, that can attract more negative patterns. It actually can keep you stuck in the cycle. And this is what I mean is that, of course, you know, let's be honest. If somebody is stressed, They would have a higher chances of maybe lashing out at others.

And then if they lash out at others, they can then attract negative circumstances in their life more because of that action, that very energy. And then, of course, if they're attracting more negative circumstances and situations in life, it can then create more feelings of lashing out at others. And so I would say on this one, Making sure not to justify because all of the time I've seen people who get caught in that pattern where they're justifying because of this or that reason, but instead just simply change it.

So obviously the answer is not criticizing yourself or feeling guilty or bad because that was number one of what not to do. So it's not about feeling guilty or feeling bad about it or needing to punish yourself about it. That's not it. It's about not justifying it. And genuinely willing, being willing to change it.

And I can tell you, you know, working with people and watching the patterns of energy with people and seeing people create radical changes in their lives. If we do these three things, if we really are willing to change and stop going into the punishment patterns, all of that, that's really powerful. Now, also what is a bit metic, kind of important to pay attention to is also the details, because.

Some things that can happen are like this. Let's say somebody gets mad at a restaurant online because, you know, there was a mix up at their order. And, let's be honest, mistakes happen. But let's say somebody goes over the top and leaves a horrible review online for this restaurant. Oh, they're horrible and they're blah blah blah, just because they're mad because their food was later mixed up or whatnot.

And the restaurant did the right thing, did what it could to correct it, yada yada. Or refunded or did whatever was correct for that moment, but the restaurant did its best ability to make it right, et cetera. But the person was just still mean and left a mean review. Could that create ongoing negativity in the person's life?

Absolutely. Why? Because even though the restaurant may have made a mistake, they did their best ability to make it right. However, is it fair for somebody to give that business, that restaurant, an ongoing negative review? Well, it's not. I mean, a negative review ongoing is a is to hurt their business over and over.

Like that's, that's not really fair, right? That's overly punishing somebody. And especially if they're not being truthful in their review and they're saying, Oh, it was horrible. It was this, it was that. Does that create ongoing things? Yes. Now, part of the reason I'm sharing that is because let's be honest, reviews have become a bigger and bigger thing in our world in the last 10 years, especially 10, 15 years, reviews are bigger and bigger and bigger, which means I'm also seeing health issues more connected.

To reviews, because people are leaving maybe reviews that are negative, that are affecting other, like it's, it's a thing. So there's that. Or even just taking things online from others and, or even if it's like, you know, um, social media where people are bullying others online. That's another thing that I'm seeing affecting people's health.

And they say, well, I'm just, you know, speaking poorly, like they'll. Basically bully people online on a social platform and think that it's okay. And of course, unfortunately, that negative energy can show up in their health, in their life, in their finances, in their relationships, and all kinds of things.

And so, When we take action also to be mean to somebody else or punish somebody else or something like that, that too can attract more of those negative circumstances and situations. And I think a lot of times people, especially because social media has, you know, has gotten so big and people will then feel free to say whatever they want and, and I think that, you know, uh, there's been a lot of things in our news or culture or whatnot.

where people feel like it's justified to be able to say something negative to somebody, about somebody, even if it's not. And I think that everybody online can kind of see that this has been, there's been an, an energy, a growing energy of this. And yes, it very much can connect to health issues and negative circumstances and attracting those.

Want to provide that insight that sometimes it could feel like if somebody creates an in, uh, invisible handle, you know, a hidden profile that still can affect the energy of life and health and happiness and all of that. And so I just want to provide those insights just because, of course, It's a growing thing that I'm seeing.

And when we stop and look at it for a moment, if we looked around the world and every single person was happy and healthy and loved and loving and attracting what they're wanting in life and creating and living the life that they want and the life that they love, that would be better for everybody. I mean, could you imagine what this world would look like?

And so of course, also shifting these patterns can help with healing. And that's important. It's crucial, you know, happy, healthy life. And so that's the insight that I want to share with you today. Now, what you can also take from that is this, is I've worked with some people and met people throughout the years who felt like they had negative karma from 20 years ago or 15 years ago or whatever, from a mistake that they made a long time ago, and I would invite you that if you've had that way of thinking to get rid of that, to free yourself and realize that we really can change it and that can change.
