When Toni first came to me, she had breast cancer for the second time. It had spread through her bones and liver, and her prognosis was not good.
I recorded this session more than a year ago, but I intentionally waited to release it.
Recently, Toni's doctors report that her latest scans show no visible sign of cancer.
In this episode, you'll hear the actual session where we uncovered several subconscious patterns that were quietly working against her, including one that surprises almost everyone.
If you've ever wondered why simply “thinking positive” doesn't always create the transformation people hope for, this episode explains one of the most overlooked reasons why.
Toni continued working with her doctors, remained on her medication, and continued receiving medical scans throughout her journey. This episode is about transforming subconscious patterns while also being responsible with your health.
Listen in and notice what patterns may be quietly running in your own life.

Welcome to Heal Yourself. Change Your Life. I’m Brandy Gillmore, and what I’m most known for is helping people to create radical transformations, and even demonstrating the power of the mind and self-healing under medical equipment so you can see the results. And my work has even been published in a medical journal because it’s truly incredible what we are all capable of when we understand our own minds at a deeper level.
So whether you’re new to this work or you’ve been studying the power of the mind for many years, I love that you are here. I love that we’re on this incredible journey together, and I look forward to sharing breakthrough information with you. That said, on this podcast, I’ll share two types of episodes.
First, self-healing episodes where I share key insights from working with live volunteers. And the second type are where I answer questions from the audience. That said, if you’d like to volunteer or submit a question, come visit me at BrandyGillmore.com. On that note, let’s dive in
Hello and happy beautiful day to you. I want to add in a quick but important note to make this podcast very easy to navigate because today’s episode has a special format. Today I worked with a live volunteer and as you probably know, there are a lot of people who are now using AI to modify information online.
For that reason, we have taken an extra step to help protect our beautiful volunteer and the integrity of this work to help keep the information from being modified. And we actually love how this turned out because it provides you with even more information. This is how it works. On today’s episode, you’ll hear an overview of the person that I worked with and I will provide you with simple but powerful breakthrough insights that helped our volunteer begin making a radical shift.
Then at the end of this short breakthrough episode, if you are ready for a deep dive, you can click in the show notes to gain access to the actual self-healing session where I worked directly with the live volunteer. This enables us to help protect the information online from being modified while still continuing to provide you with powerful information to help bridge the gap between science and spirituality and personal empowerment because it’s truly incredible what you are capable of when you learn to understand your mind at a deeper level.
That said, let’s dive into the simple but powerful insights that came from working with today’s volunteer. Here we go.
So the volunteer that I worked with for today’s episode just received extraordinary news from her doctors. Her latest scans came back, and there is no visible sign of cancer whatsoever, and she’s stoked. And it’s incredible, especially considering where she was. Now, her prognosis was not good. She had breast cancer for the second time, and it had metastasized throughout her bones and her liver.
And there were people around her that didn’t expect that she was going to make it, and here she is now completely… They can’t find any cancer whatsoever. So she’s stoked, and today I want to share with you a few patterns that she’s worked on to help transform herself and also how they can be a bit counterintuitive, and that’s what I see all of the time.
So I want to share with you a few insights. Now, first and foremost, our, our volunteer, her name is Toni, and she’s, she’s a beautiful being. Like, she just… She’s so charming and sweet and lovely and just happy. And yet on the surface, she had all of this underlying hurt and stress and just this feeling inside that that’s just how life is.
It was like she felt like life kept just throwing a, a hardship at her, one hardship after another after another, from a lot of struggles with her husband while she was married and then a divorce and then not only that, but a lot of financial loss and stress. And so she was just in this really hard place, and yet she was also an energy healer, so she was trying to, you know, keep positive and laugh and smile on top of that while also trying to get by raising her son.
And so it was just all of these stressful feelings. And so one of the patterns that she needed to work on was a feeling of feeling like life is always so hard, like it’s one thing after another after another. Now, that feeling that life is just life is just life, let’s be honest, it can show up in a variety of different ways.
So sometimes I’ll see the pattern, it can show up towards health issues, towards, um, struggles. So not everybody who has the pattern of hardship necessarily has a health issue, but there are other patterns that were also connected. And part of the counterintuitive part was this, is that she started connecting positive feelings towards the negative.
Now, you might think that that’s rare, but I actually see it all of the time. Maybe you’ve heard the term of pride in hardship, or maybe you’ve heard somebody do this, where one person might say something like, “My day was horrible.” And somebody else says, “Oh, you think that’s bad? Let me tell you about my day.”
Now, what’s happening is that they’re one-upping each other on who’s had the worst day, the worst trauma, the worst whatever it is. And so it programs the mind that says winning is having the most hardship, you know? And so that can happen. Or my grandfather used to tell a story t- growing up, he used to say, “I had to walk uphill both ways in six feet of snow to school.”
Right? So he used to say that all of the time. And if you think about it, that’s a lot of struggle. And so in Toni’s life, she has had this feeling of putting a lot of comedy and laughter and positivity around the feeling of struggle, and so much so that she also did it towards the cancer. And so there, that was that link that got linked up.
Now, by the way, it might also sound weird that we can link up some type of positive to a negative, but another example that I use all the time is this, is that maybe you’ve heard before a cutter, you know, somebody who’s unfortunately been through a trauma, can cut themselves and feel relief or euphoria or control or safety from cutting themselves.
So that positive can get linked up in the negative. And so in this case, what also happened is when I worked with our beautiful volunteer, she had actually had cancer eight years prior. Now, when she got cancer eight years prior, it was just a little small bit of cancer, and so much so that she actually would joke around and call it like a, like a, a taste.
Like a taste of cancer, like an hors d’oeuvre, if you will. Like, it was just a biteful. And you know, and she, she lives in France, so there’s like this feeling of they’re in French. You know, she said, “It’s in French,” is the way she said it. But it’s like a, an hors d’oeuvre, if you will. So laughing around about it, so much so that also when her and I started talking about her cancer in her body, as we were speaking about it, she said, “Oh, cancer’s having an entire party throughout my body.”
Now, of course, I said, “Don’t invite me to that party. That’s not a party that I want to be with.” But my point is, is that she had linked up so much pride and connectedness towards illness and health issues of laughing and connecting with it that it then can repeat the pattern, and I’ve seen that so often with people is that…
Now, by the way, that wasn’t the only pattern. So what you’ll hear me say all of the time is this, is that all of the time that ultimately there’s multiple emotions that get linked up, and that’s the key, is that there’s multiple patterns. And so two of them that she had that were really strong was exactly that, was a feeling of pride and hardship, like the connectedness and the laughter and almost like this, this feeling of like cancer is fun and, and on a subconscious level.
Now, of course, she wouldn’t have scheduled an appointment with me if she really wanted the cancer. So consciously, no part of her ever, ever, ever, ever, ever wanted the cancer consciously. But ultimately, at a deeper level, it gets linked up in the subconscious mind that, oh, this is fun. This was just a bite, and, and it’s not…
It’s like this feeling of like, what else can I overcome? Or what else? Or that’s just how life is. So that was another feeling that she had. You know, that’s just life. That’s just life. And so that’s the insight that I want to share with you, is that, is I want to invite you to look at your energy and your e- emotions towards life or towards hardship And are you noticing that there’s a lot of hardship in your life?
And if so, would you say, “Oh, that’s just life. That’s just how life is.” And if so, I’d invite you to change that because that was very much her feeling. I, you know, life is life, but that’s her feeling because life isn’t life. Life can be fantastic. Life can be loving and incredible and wonderful. Now, by the way, don’t get me wrong, going through my injury, I felt horrible about life.
So what did I have to do? I did that very thing. I reprogrammed the way that I felt about life. I felt like this. I felt like, you know… I literally told myself, “You know what? How I feel about life is how life is going to feel about me. I better change.” And I really reprogrammed that in. And so what’s beautiful is that we can see that, you know, even in a situation where she had not much hope for really healing, and here she is now completely no cancer, no visible signs of cancer whatsoever.
Now, I want to give you specifics, a c- a few more details, and it’s this. Technically, I actually worked with her a little over a year ago, but I didn’t want to release the episode until she came back with zero cancer. I knew she would. I knew because why? I knew she was just gonna do it. I just had this feeling she was gonna follow through, and she would really, really create those results.
Why? Because she’s just somebody who’s determined. She was like… It’s just her attitude, her personality. She says, “Okay, what do you got? Let me do this.” I mean, she’s just- She’s an incredible being, so I just knew that she would. And there were other reasons also. I wanted to be very careful with her mind programming because I also thought if I release it and it feels like more pride in hardship or more connection or attention for hardship, I didn’t want it to backfire further and reinforce negativity.
I wanted to wait to watch her to really do it, and watching her, she did it, and it’s incredible. And of course, it does take follow-through. It takes real transformation. It takes real, real programming, and, you know, and it also takes creating that radical shift. And so there’s, there’s other keys as well. And so on that note, I just wanted to share, you know, really ultimately that so often mind programming is counterintuitive, and I see all of the time, even with people like her who was, was an energy healer, but also…
And, and had studied self-healing and all kinds of healing for many years. And all of the time I see people who are on the journey of healing and, and they don’t realize that positivity is good, of course, but it can backfire if it’s not done in the right way, that we don’t want to link up something, uh, negative to something positive.
So we don’t want to call cancer a party or just a little hors d’oeuvre, so to speak. That wasn’t the exact word she used. It was in French, but same, same point, same concept. And so That’s the insight that I want to share that yes, positivity is great, but make sure only to link it to the very things that you want more of.
And by the way, if you are somebody who is working on healing yourself, if… And you’d like to listen to the actual session where, where I work with our beautiful volunteer, Toni, you can click the link in the show notes. So that is available, and you can really go through the actual session where I work with her.
Or if you’re somebody who wants a deeper understanding of mind body healing, you can click the link. There is a free training in the show notes. And as always, I want to ask you, please do take just a quick moment to hit the share button on this episode. Share it with somebody you love, somebody you care about, somebody who needs hope and inspiration.
Share it with somebody who you don’t even know because the more that every single person in our world realizes that we can be happy and healthy and loved and loving and, and really heal ourselves, the better this world is for all of us. Now, I do want to also say, notice that she got a medical scan. So I want to be clear.
Notice I didn’t tell her to avoid her doctors. Instead, she actually continued seeing her doctors, stayed on her medication, followed and followed, and just continued to go get scans, continued. And it was really sweet because over the years she sent like the first scan back and she’s like, “My doctors are amazed.”
And then the next one, “Oh my gosh, there’s even less cancer. This is incredible.” So she did that. She continued. So just to be cautious and, and aware, it’s really about being responsible with your health and seeing your doctors and creating those incredible results. So those are the insights that I wanna share.
And again, if you wanna check out the actual session where, where I worked with her, click the link in the show notes and I look forward to connecting with you on the next episode. We’ll see you there
