If you have found yourself asking any of these questions such as:
Welcome to Heal Yourself. Change Your Life. I’m Brandy Gillmore, and what I’m most known for is helping people to create radical transformations and even demonstrating the power of the mind and self-healing under medical equipment so you can see the results. And my work has even been published in a medical journal because it’s truly incredible what we are all capable of when we understand our own minds at a deeper level.
So whether you’re new to this work or you’ve been studying the power of the mind for many years, I love that you are here. I love that we’re on this incredible journey together, and I look forward to sharing breakthrough information with you. That said, on this podcast, I’ll share two types of episodes.
First, self-healing episodes where I share key insights from working with live volunteers. And the second type are where I answer questions from the audience. That said, if you’d like to volunteer or submit a question, come visit me at BrandyGillmore.com. On that note, let’s dive in
All right. So a listener messaged in and asked if I could share my healing approach in two minutes. So I don’t know if I can do it or not, but here is my best attempt, and after I share each piece, I will share a piece of scientific understanding, research, or logical understanding to make it logical, and accessible, and easy.
And so here we go. So first and foremost, it is very important to create a positive mindset. Why? Because that can help optimize cell proliferation. Said in a simple way, it can help optimize healing, and cell proliferation is basically the growth and division of cells. So a simple example of somebody, even after surgery, if somebody is in a more positive state, research has shown that they can heal faster.
Or if they’re in a negative state of mind, they can heal a lot slower or even have increased hos- rehospitalization and death. So we can see that s- healing itself, cell proliferation, the repair, the body’s repair system works faster and more optimized when somebody is in a state of optimism. So that is one thing we really must create, and not just positive thinking, but really positive neural pathways so it is maintained, so a person can sustain it.
So that is number one, is getting a really positive mindset. Number two is identifying the specific problem mindset, meaning this. Meaning if we look at research, you know, you hear me use this all the time, but people with multiple personality disorder can have different illnesses in different personalities, and it can be consistent with the particular mindset.
Meaning even though they have the same physical body, personality number one could always have the same illness, and personality number two can have this, a different illness, and personality number three can have a completely different illness or even no illness at all. And what we can see is that the specific mindset c- is connected to the problem.
Now, additionally What can happen is that people, there can be mindsets that have trauma but no illness. And so it’s very important to identify that specific mindset. The mind is very specific. Another way to think about it is if somebody’s embarrassed, their face can turn red. If somebody has anxiety, they can have a panic attack.
You can see the specific mind body connection even on a simple note. And so that is key. Now, the next piece is after you identify it, really free yourself from it. Now, this is what’s key also, is a few things, is so often people are struggling to get rid of some type of pattern or negativity and they are struggling, struggling, trying so many different ways to do it.
Now, what you want to remember is that if your mind is holding onto it, there is only one reason. It’s because it wants to, at least partially. A way to think about it is like this, is imagine if you’re trying to get rid of an old shirt with one hand, but the other hand is holding onto it. And so you’re struggling trying to get rid of it and yet part of your, the other hand is holding onto it.
So that’s what happens with the mind and that can be very tricky. Part of the reason this can happen is because information can get stored in different ways in the mind. So for example, a person may have a pattern of criticism so then they may also feel afraid of people, or they may feel nervous around people, or they may feel like their self-image is now less than.
And so what happens is it can get stored up in a variety of different ways. And so that’s one thing. Or even, you know, if somebody is, uh, let’s say somebody gets in an accident And then they can have this feeling of needing to stay on high alert. So what happens is they have to hold onto fear to keep them safe, or at least their mind thinks so.
And so it becomes hard to let go of fear because they feel like they need to stay on high alert to stay safe and hold onto it, and so it’s, it’s a struggle. And so that happens in so many different ways in the subconscious mind, and people don’t realize it. And so there’s neural pathways, and so really understanding the mind programming of the mind and how to reprogram it.
It’s like learning how to reprogram a computer, but of course, with the mind. It’s, it’s, um… So understanding and freeing yourself from that. And so a lot of times people will just think, “Okay, well, let’s meditate.” And, and while meditation or positive thinking could be nice, we really have to rewire the mind at a deeper level.
You know, if you stop and think about it for a moment, Steve Jobs and Wayne Dyer, brilliant men, they both meditated. It didn’t stop them from getting sick. They ate all the healthy foods. They both had, you know, their… Steve Jobs may have surgery or a variety of different treatments, allopathic, naturopathic, all kinds of things, and yet didn’t heal.
But we can also see that there was not a full, full change. So if we think about Steve Jobs, you know, he might be somebody who’s known for having a bit of stress, um, or some negative emotions. And so my point is, is just that we really need to change at a deeper level, and that is step T. So step T is stepping into the transformation.
So the thing of it is the transformation really needs to be a real transformation. And so that’s… Those are the steps. So it’s GIFT, is what it stands for. Get new positive mind programming, identify the problem, free yourself, transform. And that is the thing, is that when you really look at it and create that change in your mindset, it does become a life-changing gift.
Now, there are some complexities in that One of the things that really was hardest for me is the number of misconceptions about how to work with the mind, and that was huge. I mean, a lot of times, you know, I, I spent years trying to figure out how to heal myself and I would say once I actually understood what I needed to do, it took like six months, okay?
But before that, my biggest problem is that I was caught in so many misconceptions. For example, a lot of times people will think that healing has to do with belief because they’ve seen the placebo, you know, where somebody can take a fake treatment and then they can have physical results, and they think it’s just due to belief.
However, there’s also something called the open label placebo, which is where both the doctor and the patient both know it is a fake treatment and it still works. So it’s not just belief. And I didn’t find that out till years into my injury where I was, you know, doing all the believing and, and, and forcing myself to really believe and, and all the, all the things, affirmations and frequencies and meditation and all of these things.
I was doing all of the things, and yet I started realizing, wow, there are so many misconceptions. Or, you know, a lot of times people will say, “Well, just raise your frequency.” But cancer cells can have higher frequency, so it’s not just raise your frequency. And, and so that I would say is that’s so often the reason that you’ll hear me on, on the podcast share misconceptions is basically going through my course and my video courses, like what do you do?
How do you reprogram the mind? How do you actually implement the steps of creating change and creating positive neural pathways and rewiring the mind and all of that? And then so often you hear me talk about the misconceptions just because I would say overcoming those was a huge hurdle because there are so many misconceptions on how the mind works, and when you really start to look at it, you see, well, it doesn’t make…
So many things don’t make logical sense, and that was a huge key as well. So in a nutshell, those are… That’s the, the method and basically the listener said, “Gosh, I’ve been inundated with so much information.” How, how, what is it? What do you do? So that’s the information. I hope that helps you. And as always, um, if you…
By the way, if you’re somebody who wants a real, a deeper understanding of how it works, I do actually have a free training link in the show notes, so you’re welcome to click on that as well. And as always, um, please do make a point to implement this in your life. You know, I see people heal from incredible things.
That’s part of the reason also that I’ve wanted to show this under medical equipment. And you see me work with people and show them before and after, and you can see it under medical equipment, the power of the mind is, because also, so often people don’t feel like it’s really possible. And, and so that’s what I’ve wanted to, to show.
And the reason that belief could be important is because, of course, if somebody doesn’t believe it’s even possible, they’re not going to do it. But on another note, if we stop and think about it, I mean, a person can have anxiety, and they can have a panic attack whether they believe they’re going to or not.
Or a person can feel embarrassed and their face can turn red whether they believe it’s going to happen or not. So we can see also that emotions can affect the physical body, whether we believe it’s going to happen or not, so that there is that aspect. But of course, the more we know that we can do something, the more we’ll actually follow through.
And so, you know, the more you know you can do it, of course, following through is key for getting results. And all of the time I’ve seen people heal from things that they were told was incurable, uh, because… Not because I’m so amazing, because we are all so amazing. Yes, I’m amazing. You’re amazing. We’re amazing.
In fact, I mentioned previously multiple personality disorder, and one of the research studies that really blew my mind during my injury was finding studies in a medical journal of a woman who was medically blind in some personalities, but not in others. And so it was like, wow. You know, you could really see just how much, quote-unquote, “incurable diseases” could change.
And some personalities would have asthma and the other one would not, and it, I mean, just a- amazing. And so our minds are truly incredible. It is absolutely incredible what we are all capable of. And so on that note, again, please do make a point to embrace this in your life, and also please do take just a quick moment to hit the share button on this episode.
You know, share it with somebody you love, somebody you care about, or somebody you don’t even know, because truly, the more that every single person in our world feels healthy and happy and loved and loving, truly the better this world is for all of us. And so please do make a point to hit the share button, and please do make a point to have an incredible rest of your day.
I look forward to connecting with you on the next episode. We’ll see you there.
