Hello and happy, beautiful day to you. I want to add in a quick but important note to make this podcast very easy to navigate because today’s episode has a special format. Today, I worked with a live volunteer, and as you probably know, there are a lot of people who are now using AI to modify information online.

That said, let’s dive in to the simple but powerful insights that came from working with today’s volunteer. Here we go.
I just love today’s episode for so many reasons. First and foremost, because it highlights key things that so many people are overlooking when it comes to self-healing, but also transformation and ongoing life patterns in a variety of different ways. And this is something that impacts m- most people, and yet they don’t even realize it or address it, and it can become a stuck spot.
So that’s part of what I want to talk about today, is that now, the other thing that I really, really love is our beautiful volunteer. Her name is Katherine, and her energy and her sweetness, she’s just so precious. Now, to give you a little bit of backstory, Katherine has been dealing with MS for many years.
Now, what’s good about it is that she’s not wheelchair bound. She’s still been very, very positive and really working on positive thinking a lot, which is beautiful and great. And of course, she’s going, “Okay, well, what am I missing? What else do I need to really heal?” And that’s where I want to kind of look at the bigger picture because that’s what so many people do is they do the, the positive thinking, the, um, the trying to really get results in all areas of life, and yet there are key factors that are being overlooked.
Now, as soon as I started working with Katherine, the very first thing, thing that came up as I started working with her when she said, “Okay, look, I’m, I’m really ready, ready to heal.” And the first thing that came up was her connection with her mom. Now, when she grew up, her mom also had MS. And so immediately when I started working with her, that, that was what came up is I said, “Okay, well, wait a second here, your mom is really coming up big in your energy and your mindset.
What is going on there?” And that’s ultimately what came up. Now, this is what’s tricky, and this is why it applies to so many people beyond even self-healing is this, is that so many times people will have this very dynamic where they have this feeling in childhood that it’s really cool to be like their mom or their dad.
Like they want to grow up or then be like mom or dad or maybe even as like a four or five year old, somebody comes along and says, “Oh, you, you look just like your mom or you look just like your dad.” And it feels like a, a huge compliment at that time to be just like mom or just like dad or, or whatnot.
And so that can get ingrained as a child. Now, of course, then you turn into a teenager and you’re like, “I do not want to be like my mom or my dad.” So many people feel that. And so what happens is of course, there’s all these mixed emotions where there’s this subconscious feeling of wanting to be like mom or identifying or somebody saying, “You look just like mom, or you look just like dad.”
And that’s at a deeper level on top or underneath those feelings of feeling like, “I really don’t want to be like my parents.” And it’s hidden. And because that information is hidden in the subconscious mind, most people never see it and it doesn’t help, like it, it can keep them stuck in so many areas from, of course, self-healing, but also transformation in so many ways.
In fact, a lot of times people might experience this, maybe you’ve experienced this very thing where maybe you find yourself doing something exactly like your mom or exactly like your dad and you go, “Oh, that, that was so my mom.” And so, because that information of being like mom can also be stuck at a deeper level in the subconscious mind.
So that’s one piece. Now, another insight is, is this, is that, you know, a lot of times people think, well, if I’m just positive and if I just meditate and think all the positive things, I can heal. But think about it like this, and you hear me say this all of the time, is this example is that if you think about somebody with PTSD or severe trauma, you know, if you think about a military, as a person in the military or an officer who went through a lot of trauma or any person, they could have severe trauma and yet it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re sick.
You know, they can have a lot of emotional things going on without illness. And so something that I always highlight in my work is that my discoveries, when I really looked at what are the key components, there are multiple keys in the mind. And so the way I, the way I always illustrate it, you hear me say this all the time, that if somebody wants to make cake, basically if somebody’s making cake, if they have flour, they can’t make cake.
But if they have flour and they mix it with eggs and butter and other ingredients or vegan eggs and butter and other ingredients, then they can make cake. And if they change the recipe, that they can then make something completely different. My point is, the self-image can be part of that recipe. That’s when I looked at what specific factors affect mind-body healing, that’s part of the recipe.
And so often people overlook that. And so really ultimately, the reason that I’ve been able to get the results is because of my discovery of these five factors, of these specific factors in the mind, these specific emotional ingredients, if you will, that identifying them and really shifting them has been key and pivotal.
And so what I love about today’s session in working with our beautiful volunteer is of course, first and foremost, her personality. She’s just, she’s sweet, she’s positive, she’s, she’s just a beautiful, beautiful being. So I love that. I love her awareness where she’s like, where she sees as a child that she really wanted to be like her mom, and so she can see that.
And then simultaneously has this other feelings of feeling like she did not want to be like her mom. And so there was that, those feelings and, and, and the, the connection there with MS. And so ultimately that’s the insight that I want to share with you on this episode is noticing how your self image might fit in to the equation.
And so really thinking about that and really thinking about healing in your life. And so ad- addressing the specific factors, because I see people doing this all of the time, if even our, our beautiful volunteer was really, really, really positive. And of course there were some other emotions going on as well.
So there’s some other ingredients, but this, these insights were key for her, of course, making the change. That was the first thing that’s really linked up at a deeper level. So those are the insights that I want to share today. So there are other insights as well that are important for creating that change, but this was a key insight that I wanted to share. So, uh, that just highlights.
