Hello and happy beautiful day to you. I want to add in a quick but important note to make this podcast very easy to navigate because today’s episode has a special format. Today I worked with a live volunteer and as you probably know, there are a lot of people who are now using AI to modify information online.

That said, let’s dive into the simple but powerful insights that came from working with today’s volunteer. Here we go
How do you feel about moving forward in life? Do you fully feel safe? The reason I ask is because so often people get stuck here, and it keeps them from really creating the transformation and the healing that they want to create, and they don’t even realize it. In fact, today’s volunteer was exactly that.
I worked with a beautiful volunteer who had been suffering and struggling with so many different health issues from stomach issues to fibromyalgia to pain and just experiencing that in her legs and her neck throughout her day and has just felt really, really stuck. Now, like most people, she’s been working through a lot of her past trauma, past wounding, and she’s been working on that a long time.
In fact, she’s been working on different parts of her mindset for nearly 20 years. And that’s the same story that I hear so often is that people are looking for, you know, trying to heal, trying to get results, trying to make a change, and yet they’re stuck. But what was beautiful is, of course, as I began working with our beautiful volunteer, Elisabeth, she was able to release her pain in minutes using her own mind.
And so I love that, that she could actually see the shift. Now, what did I do? Part of what I did is I helped her to feel safe moving forward in life because she had all of this fear and then this pressure and needing to be perfect and, you know, keeping up with other people and what are friends doing and, and so she had all of these feelings of just pressure, and not only that, but fear.
It was like it was very programmed in her mind that her house, her growing up house with her parents was like her safe spot. And so there was all of this fear of change, even though consciously, of course, she wanted it. Now, sometimes what can happen, and I see this all of the time, is people want to perfection things.
And of course, I fell into that when I was working on healing myself. I wanted everything to, you know, of course, move forward being perfect. But what I did and also what I encouraged her to do was not have to be perfect. And even for me to just make it safe moving forward, it was even some of the little things like can I actually trust my body to show up?
Meaning, which is a big thing, but could I be at a… say I was gonna be somewhere at 11 o’clock and then actually show up, which seems small to maybe some people, but that was huge. Could I count on my body? And so one of the things I even started doing, which was so small, was I started just volunteering at a homeless shelter For me, it started creating this feeling of safety in life moving forward because I could get somewhere and show up on time.
Now, for every single person it’s different. And, and by the way, in this example, I would literally go to this home- like it’s a, a place where single women with children had temporary housing, like a homeless shelter type of place, and then there was like this community place where the children went to go play while the, while the moms were looking for jobs.
And so I would play Candy Land or Connect 4 or Life or whatnot. I was playing games with children. So it was beautiful because it was just, it was perfect. It was something for me to do and go volunteer, but also for me it was big. It was to show up and be somewhere. Now, my point is, is there was a perfectionist part that, of course, wanted to get better and go do this and go do that and get back to work and go…
You know, it, it was like all of the things. And so, so often that perfection feeling can also create all kinds of pressure, all kinds of fear, a feeling of fear of, of failure moving forward, a feeling that you can’t do it. And even as I was working with our beautiful volunteer today, as I was working with her, her mind kept going back to feeling stuck.
“But, but I’m stuck. But I can’t. But…” And it was all of this fear. And, and the more we unpacked it and just started looking at what was really going on, it was like this needing to be perfect. But also, this is where it gets a bit tricky, is there was also a feeling of not feeling like she deserved life moving forward, not feeling like she deserved great things.
So imagine for a moment if you have this feeling of feeling like you really, really need to move forward, and that’s what you need to do to feel safe and you need to do to create a better life. So you’re waiting for that, and simultaneously- Not feeling like you deserve it. What happens? Well, you get stuck.
And so from this example, what was beautiful is, again, as I started working with her, she was able to take her leg pain and she released it using her own mind, and she was just… It, it was beautiful because, again, she’s been working with her mind for years and years and years and years, and so I showed her how to do and start creating those real results in a very short period of time by creating this shift.
And so it, it was beautiful to watch her to start creating that change. And so that is the insight that I want to share because let’s be honest, if you’re here and you’ve heard about mind body healing, so often what is everybody doing? Typically going to the past and the childhood wounding and different things like that, and one of the things that I always teach is we want reverse emotional processing, so we want to work with the mind in a different way.
So there are keys that have enabled me to get these radical results and show people how to get radical results in a very short period of time, even under medical equipment. And it’s not because I’m so amazing. Yes, I’m amazing. You’re amazing. We are truly incredible beings. And so what’s beautiful is that by just working with the mind in a different way after all of these years and years and years, and even she’s got degrees in working with mindset and, and different things like that, and yet in a very, very short period of time She was able to make that shift.
What is my point? My point is, is to get results, it’s not that, quote-unquote, “hard.” It does take a real change, and it also takes working with the mind in a different way and deciding and really getting unstuck. And so it does take follow-through, so even in her case, I’m gonna tell you, she’s going to need to follow through to be able to maintain it and build the neural pathways.
So, but that shift, she could see the mind-body connection, and that’s what’s incredible. And so the insight that I want to share today is exactly that, is if you’re somebody who has been working on the past and the past and childhood this and all of these things, if you look forward, do you feel like you deserve a great life moving forward?
If you look forward, are you putting all this pressure on yourself to be perfect? To move forward, are you feeling like it’s not safe? And if so, is there something small like going to play Candy Land, if you will. But I mean, literally, is there something small that you could even start doing to start feeling safe?
Because notice, you hear me say all of the time that to create a real change there… or to create a real healing, it does take a real change. And so even in my life, yes, I shifted my mindset, and then I started following through with small, actionable things that made it all doable as well. And that’s the reason I bring up, you know, going to, to play games and, and volunteer is that was the actionable.
And of course, I had already shifted my mindset to get there. But both are key to creating that real transformation. And so that’s the insight that I want to share from our beautiful volunteer is, again, it doesn’t have to be hard to get results, but we do need to work with the mind in a different way.
