If you have found yourself asking any of these questions such as:
Welcome to Heal Yourself. Change Your Life. I’m Brandy Gillmore, and what I’m most known for is helping people to create radical transformations, and even demonstrating the power of the mind and self-healing under medical equipment so you can see the results. And my work has even been published in a medical journal because it’s truly incredible what we are all capable of when we understand our own minds at a deeper level.
So whether you’re new to this work or you’ve been studying the power of the mind for many years, I love that you are here. I love that we’re on this incredible journey together, and I look forward to sharing breakthrough information with you. That said, on this podcast, I’ll share two types of episodes.
First, self-healing episodes where I share key insights from working with live volunteers. And the second type are where I answer questions from the audience. That said, if you’d like to volunteer or submit a question, come visit me at BrandyGillmore.com. On that note, let’s dive in
Hello and happy beautiful day to you. I want to add in a quick but important note to make this podcast very easy to navigate because today’s episode has a special format. Today, I worked with a live volunteer, and as you probably know, there are a lot of people who are now using AI to modify information online.
For that reason, we have taken an extra step to help protect our beautiful volunteer and the integrity of this work to help keep the information from being modified. And we actually love how this turned out because it provides you with even more information. This is how it works. On today’s episode, you’ll hear an overview of the person that I worked with, and I will provide you with simple but powerful breakthrough insights that helped our volunteer begin making a radical shift.
Then, at the end of this short breakthrough episode, if you are ready for a deep dive, you can click in the show notes to gain access to the actual self-healing session where I worked directly with the live volunteer. This enables us to help protect the information online from being modified while still continuing to provide you with powerful information to help bridge the gap between science and spirituality and personal empowerment, because it’s truly incredible what you are capable of when you learn to understand your mind at a deeper level.
That said, let’s dive into the simple but powerful insights that came from working with today’s volunteer. Here we go
So right after I healed myself, I had this feeling of just feeling like I could do anything, you know? And not from an egoic place, but, you know, just being able to walk around with no cane, no walker, no wheelchair, no pain, and feel this feeling of, of being healed when everybody said that there was nothing else they could do for me was just this feeling of just, again, this feeling like I could do anything.
And I, I actually, I started… I went, uh, skydiving. I started working on my pilot’s license. I mean, it was just this feeling of empowerment. Like, what we are capable of is really truly incredible and mind-blowing, and it was so… It was surreal and real all at the same time, and that’s one of the things that I really love about today’s episode.
Now, today, on today’s volunteer session, I worked with a beautiful volunteer. Her name is Sue, and what I love is that as soon as I connected with her, the first thing she said is she said, “Brandy, I just walked 85 steps.” And so you can feel this excitement from her. Now, what I didn’t know when I first connected with her was that she was actually already in my video course, and so that was fun.
I had no idea. My team is so wonderful. They set everything up for me seamlessly. And what I love is that you could see really powerful insights from mind body healing just from the session and working with her. And so I want to break down some key insights to provide you because so often you hear me say, you know, working with the mind is different than most people think to get results.
Now, one of the insights came from some of the very first things she said when we first connected. She said, “Brandy, my mantra song…” And I, I actually call it my, you know, uh, m- mind programming with music or NT music technique. But she said, “My song is I Am Woman.” Now, the song, I want to break this down a bit because basically what I have people do is pick a song or two songs.
Now, let me break this down because the details matter. The details, the distinctions, they’re key, and this is what I mean. We’ve all heard of a happy playlist, and a happy playlist can be fantastic and fine and wonderful. But- And I’ll share with you the insight because it’s really, it’s, it’s a key distinction, but the details matter.
And so basically her song is I Am Woman. Now, why it’s important to have just one or two songs instead of a whole bunch of songs is this, is because ultimately we need to establish new neural pathways, so new ways of thinking that are patterned in the brain. And so ultimately what can be very powerful about just choosing one song is this, is that it can help you to start programming your mind so it’s consistent neural pathways and also help you get new emotions in.
So it’s a simple hack, if you will. Now, let me break this down even more to simplicity. It’s this, it’s that, you know, even during my own injury, if somebody told me, “Just be happy. Just feel positive,” well, that’s a nice idea, but being able to program that in is easier said than done, and this is what I mean, is, you know, to be able to program any type of, anything into your neural pathways, to be able to program something into your mind, what do you have to do?
You have to access it repeatedly. So if you think about the alphabet for a moment, if you want to program your mind with an alphabet, with the alphabet as a child, what do you have to do? You have to get it in consistently over and over and over and over and over again. If you only get it in once a week or periodically, well, you can’t really program it in.
Now, think about that regarding emotions. If you’re supposed to program in emotions over and over and over and over and over and over and over to get it in, but you can’t necessarily access the positive emotion over and over and over again, how are you going to ever program it in? And so part of the thing that I started doing during my injury was exactly that, is I said, “Okay, how am I going to reprogram my mind if I can’t even feel these amazing feelings?”
I mean, during my injury, for me personally, I felt heavy. I felt stressed. I felt fearful. I felt all of these things. So for me to access a different emotion repeatedly Took a hack, right? Took figuring that out, and so I mean, it’s one thing to think an emotion, but to feel an emotion. So basically what I did is hacked the process and I said, “Okay, I’m gonna use music to then help me feel that same feeling over and over and over again.”
So very, very simple, and yet profound because it can help create and shift the mind to create a pattern. Now, of course, it takes more than just this to reprogram and rewire the mind, but it’s like i- if I’m supposed to l- if somebody’s supposed to learn and speak French, but they don’t have any access to French language, how are they going to learn it?
And so the same is true with emotions, is that we have to be able to access them, and not only that, but again, going back to the happy playlist, if you will, you know, i- if somebody’s, um, programming their mind and they- their goal is to learn French, but one day it’s French and the other day it’s Italian and Spanish and German and Russian and, and then Spanish and, uh, Mandarin and it…
They don’t really learn a language. There’s no neural pathways being built. They’re just kind of throwing the kitchen sink at it, if you will, and of course, a lot of people do that with m- m- working with the mind. They just go, “Okay, well, let me just throw the kitchen sink. Let me throw a bunch of positivity at it,” instead of actually creating new neural pathways because when you create new neural pathways, it becomes pivotal.
It’s like your mind is now programmed for happiness, programmed for positivity. Now, I’m not saying the positive song is everything, but what I’m saying is, is it is a hack to help access new positive emotions that you wouldn’t have otherwise had access to. I mean, for me personally, for… If you had said to me during my injury when I was going through all those things, just access happiness and positivity at an extreme level, very intensely, very positive, repeatedly every day for the next 30 days or 60 days to really get it programmed in over and over and over, like that would have sounded like a great theory, but for me to actually feel that wouldn’t have been realistic.
And so it’s, again, it’s just a simple hack, and so that is one thing. Now, another insight we can take from that, from this, this session where I worked with Sue was this, is that you hear me say over and over and over and over again- That everybody’s always going back first to their childhood trauma all of the time.
All of the time. They go, “Oh, this childhood, this ch-…” And they’re so, they’re stuck in the negative. But literally, the first thing she says out of this, she says, “I’ve walked 85 steps,” and with a walker, so she’s still working on it. Um, and, um, and so she says, “I walked… And this is my song, I Am Woman.” And so she’s like…
But you can feel just her sw- Like, honestly, she’s just… You just wanna hug her. She’s beautiful. She’s precious. She’s just got great energy. Brilliant. Okay, so my point is, is that she’s working with the mind in a different way, and that’s why she’s getting results, is that I can’t tell you how often people are so addicted to the negative over and over.
Now, don’t get me wrong, we went there as well. So bringing in the positive, yes, yes, and yes, and programming that in, and then we also looked at some, what are the, what are some of the negative, and how can she shift that? So we looked at that as well. So that was key, but both are important. And so that’s another just insight because if you’ve been following my work, you know I say all, all of the time, people go into the negative, and they get stuck there, or they go into the childhood patterns, and they think the solution is there, when it’s really about really rewiring the mind in a deeper way.
Um, and, and so that is key. Now, another insight that I want to share is this, is that so often people think that it just has to do with belief. And so I want to unpack that a bit more because people will say, “Well, yes, of course if you believe you can, you can do it.” Now, belief is important It can be important, but it doesn’t have to be, and it’s tricky.
And what I mean by that is this, is that, you know, the reason that I followed through to figure out how to heal myself, I mean, it took me years, is ’cause I believed it was somehow possible. I could see the power of the placebo. I could see multiple personality disorder, you know, research from it that showed the power of the mind.
So there was evidence and research and medical research about this power of the mind everywhere. So if the mind has that ability, I could see that it could be possible, and yet it still took me years and years and years and years and years to figure out how to do it. And so a, a, a simple way to think about it is, you know, do I believe that people can learn how to do anything?
People can learn how to, you know, be an astronaut. That’s great, and yet there’s still a learning process. So just because I believe something is possible, that’s great. The… it makes us follow through, but it takes more than belief. And another simple way to think about it is also like this, is that if somebody feels anxiety, they can have a panic attack whether they believe they’re going to have one or not, because emotions can still impact our physical body, whether we believe it or not.
And so that’s the power of the subconscious mind and the power of emotions as well. So point being is that, yes, belief can be important, so you follow through, but that follow through is key. And so really thinking about that awareness in your life. So the, the key insight that I want to bring in is this, is that, you know, just bringing everything together, is that when it comes to positivity, not just positive thinking.
You hear me say all the time, positive thinking is nice. It’s not enough. And so really establishing the new neural pathways is very important. Being able to access new positive emotions repeatedly, that is important. Working with the mind in a different way is very important. So, you know, like when it comes to working with the mind and the power of the mind, it has been written throughout history for thousands of years.
It’s even in the Bible, “A merry heart is a medicine. Ill thoughts will dry the bones.” So it’s, it’s been around for thousands of years. So I didn’t discover that, but what I did discover is those key details that make a difference to get the results. And so being able to create those new positive neural pathways and really get that in and working with the mind in a different way to, to really dial that in is how you get real results.
And so I love that, and ultimately, what I still worked with Sue on is I still worked on identifying s- even more of the negative. So what was really, really cool during her session as I was working with her was also this, was that, um, is that as, as I was talking to her her left leg still did not have great movement.
So her right leg was working really, really great. Her left leg was not. And so what I started doing also was then identifying what negative emotions were impacting her left leg and helping her to shift her mindset. And part of that had to do with feelings of guilt, which is kind of perfect timing because even on the last episode we just talked about mom guilt, but hers was in a different place.
But there was some feelings of guilt there. And so being able to move forward and feel good and, and feeling like people weren’t going to be mad at her and not having that feeling of guilt. So really as we started looking at these emotions and also shifting them, her leg started moving even more. She was able to lift her leg.
And it w- was really great and she goes, “Oh my gosh, I can move my leg.” And she was able to lift it about a level three, and then about a level five, and then she goes, “Oh my gosh, my upper leg is moving too.” Now by the way, so she was very, very excited. And by the way, I know that for a lot of people this sounds impossible, and so for this particular episode, um, if you do want to listen to the session of me working with her, the link is in the show notes and also I left the video in there as well because some people might think, “Oh, like how is this even possible?”
And be skeptical. I know that I would have during my own injury, but by now I’ve worked with plenty of people who’ve been able to move paralyzed body parts or all kinds of things by using the power of the mind. And so their own mind. It’s, it’s, again, truly incredible what we are capable of. So if you’d like to listen to and, and listen along with that actual session, you can click the link in the show notes.
There is the audio version to the session and there is also the video version as well if you’d like to just see our beautiful volunteer. So and by the way, also if you’d like a free training to understand more about mind body healing and how it works, that is also available in the show notes as well.
And so that is available because ultimately my biggest hope is for every single person to realize how truly incredible we all really are. And so on that note, I want to ask you to please do take just a quick moment to hit the share button on this episode. You know, share it with somebody you love, somebody you care about, or somebody you don’t even know because the more that every single person in our world feels healthy and happy and loved and loving, truly the better this world is for all of us.
And so please do take a quick moment to hit the share button, and please do have an incredible rest of your day. I look forward to connecting with you on the next episode. We’ll see you there.
